She was really old and not exactly in top condition. Something broke and she dropped dead; perhaps it's less common than a transitory period of being bedridden but certainly not rare.

Well RIP, but I also can't say I overtly will be mourning her passing, she was a career politician and one who tried to run roughshod over the constitution in favor of agenda.

Newsome is an idiot. I mean is it even legal to appoint someone as a senator if they do not live in the State you are in?

I think Butler registered to vote in CA upon news of the controversy.
