There is footage of it going over the camera and you see the underneath. It...It just looks horrible. The front Glacias ends and there is like a part that is not connected to anything.

That's SOP for the North Koreans - they don't have the industry to build turrets like the ones on Abrams(or K1, for that matter), so they add to previously built ones until the shape becomes similar. That's what we have here - a Seongunho cast turret with its shape altered to look like the one in Abrams(before they decided to cut holes in it to add Armata-like active protection system launchers). I don't think there is an improvement in protection - they might even have compromised it some, with those holes.

Main improvement to me seems to be the added ATGM box launcher on the side - a better idea than those MANPADS they normally put on their parade MBTs.

I undarstandt HOW - but still not WHY.
They do not need it for pacyfing their own people, becouse for that secret police is enough.People really do not start uprising becouse their owners do not made new tank.
Other countries do not belive in it anyway. So - why wasting money ?

Because secret police by itself is never enough, you need circuses and rituals to fully control the masses. One of their greatest articles of faith is the perception of the imminent threat from the South and thereby regular shows of strength must be made to affirm the fact that the Dear Leader is protecting them. Army is also a big power block within the country, they must be made look good.

I will be doing some more research tomorrow at work about the new nK tank. I smell a fake and not fake about it after further searching. Of course the gun is fake.

If I can tell more info I will

THe T28 Superheavy Tank. A thick 100 tons in weight and equipped with a POWERFUL 105mm cannon!

T28.jpg

Already made obsolete (like most conventional equipment) thanks to the Atomic Battlefield of 1946... :sneaky:

Only two were made of them and were thought lost to history until one turned up at Fort Belvoir, Virginia in 1974, discovered in a field camouflaged by bushes after having been missing for the intervening 27 years. It's currently at Patton Park where the US Army Armor & Cavalry Collection armored vehicles are located within Fort Benning with its many retired brothers and sisters (of different models).

It also had another name. The T95. It also has another set if tracks.

See, this proves how useful bushes are for Camouflage

So, if anyone wants to use Pentagon Wars and the various Reformer tag lines, I'll just post this little video.

Summary? Pentagon Wars is a pile of shit lies for a shit ideology. That is all.

(@Navarro, here is an armored car design idea that I had for a Fallout fic, armed with a 2cm automatic laser, a gatling laser, and an M2[insert alpha-numerical designation here] Browning, speedy, effective, and made to scout things)

(nothing states 'I'm here to blast things and chew bubblegum... and I'm all out of bubblegum' than a 130 foot long, 45 foot wide, 40-foot tall pile of armored warfare)
