The best things is: you genuinely can't tell whether that's a real article or not.
It sure sounds like absurdist satire... but then, so does every single 'opinion piece' that anyone at BuzzFeed ever posts.

They have stuff that isn't High Republic coming outunpopular opinion 1: Star Wars was always eye candy and especially ear candy. People talk about how Star Wars is about spiritualism this or politics that, but let's be honest. You can get more fulfilling spiritualist stories or political thrillers elsewhere, but those stories don't give you the dopamine hit of that John Williams score or Darth Vader's breathing or the sights and sounds of a lightsaber in action, or a dog fight between an x-wing and a tie fighter.
Unpopular opinion 2: There is no "Star Wars fandom." likewise, there is no "True Star Wars Fan" Everyone likes Star Wars for different things. It's one of the reasons why head canon was a major part of the fandom and why decentralized merchandizing worked so well vs....whatever the heck Disney has been doing for the past five 6 years.
Me: But I don't like the high republic. Do you have anything else? Maybe an alternate universe comic or a novel that takes place in the far future? Oooh maybe bring back star wars 1313....
Disney: You will buy our high republic merch and like it!

My favorite Starship Troopers type book to date has been "Armor" by Ed Steakley I think.then people would still be talking about Starship Troopers (the boring book) today.

Well, Disney is in the driver's seat for all this...somewhat unfortunately. I'm enjoying their miniseries though, and their 1-shot movies have been good.

Yeah. Comcis that are during the original trilogy. Books as well.REALLY ?

Well depends on what kinds stories you like. They have the Darth Vader which are really good.Any suggestions?

The Darth Vader stuff has been mostly good.Any decently drawn and/or written Star Wars stuff that doesn't look SJW or the like is fine and dandy by me.
That's why I have ALL the audiobooks and epubs/pdfs of the pre-Disney era.

The bounty hunter stuff has also been good.
The main series has its up and downs. Art wise more then story as most of the story has been good.
Aphra is meh depending on who you are
Surely not this? That's why I have ALL the audiobooks and epubs/pdfs of the pre-Disney era.
Her comics very a lot but if you like her then maybe you will like the comicsOn Aphra, I think she could be a light side bounty hunter if we use the alignment of the Star Wars OR. Which is a good idea, even though in the beginning I thought she was an SJW character. I have an audiobook of her. Seems nice for what I heard so far.

The old EU had loads of great stuff, but quite a few duds as well.
I certainly didn't care for Denning's books, so to me, SW chronologically ends with The Unifying Force. (And Vision of the Future is a great ending point if one doesn't like the Vong.)
Whatever Disney churns out is just fanfiction. Some of it is even good, or at least okay, but I can't bring myself to get excited about it anymore. And that says something, because -- as the above indicates -- I happen to believe that the post-trilogy era of SW had gone pretty much down the drain by 2012. So when they announced they were making sequels, I was willing to give them every chance to do something cool.
They didn't. And as far as the rest of the EU goes: they trashed a lot of cool stuff, replaced with way less interesting stuff, and are now trying to cram loads of stuff from the old EU right back in. But it lacks all context and is therefore pretty uninteresting.
You have passed our secret test.I think I have even that.
