Serious question about anti-Semitism.

But most American Jews, especially most in political power and influence, work very hard to destroy American identity and nationalism and will label everyone from libertarians to white nationalists as antisemites and use that to deplatform them.

Hey, not this Jew. And yes, funny story. I went to school at Brooklyn College. Large Jewish student population. I was not well liked on campus for three reasons. 1) I was considered a redneck because I came from the DC area and not NYC (Yes, this is true), 2) I had tried to serve in the US Army and not the IDF (Never been to Israel btw, what connection do I have to that country?) and 3) I wasn't very religious.

Long story short, some group was taking up signatures for yet another "Free Johnathan Pollard Drive." They asked me to sign. Bad move.

I politely but firmly told them Mr. Pollard was a damned traitor, and was where he belonged, and he had betrayed a country that four generations of my family had served honorably. And that the only reason I wasn't the fifth was epilepsy. And that Mr. Pollard was up there with John Walker in my eyes. I also calmly informed them what they could do with their petition. It was, of course, anatomically impossible.

I am sorry many Jews in this country seem to be divorced from a thing called reality. I am not one of them.

For the sake of equality what are the other groups doing similar things? I know a few. China's obvious and so are the Iranians. Russians used to be big on that during the Cold War.

Historically,it started in 19th century.Before that christian or muslim accepted jews when they converted,becouse they were no racist.Or even accepted them as jews as long as they do not participate in ruling state.

Unfortunatelly,19th century created modern nationalism and modern state - in which do not belonging fully to them made you suspicious.For the same reason other minorities who do not agree to be new modern citizen was targeted.

It is something impossible to change, i am afraid.

P.S fact,that there really were many bankers on Wall Street and commies who were jews,and that Wall Street paid Trocky,do not helped,too.

It actually has more to do with the nature of how Jewish life was organised. The Jews were extremely insular and self contained. As a result their communities would generate alot of excess wealth within their community. What do you do when you have excess cash? in those days you would buy real estate or lend it out. This lead to the Jews becoming landlords and money lenders esp. in eastern Europe.

You can see this same behavior with small sects and cults. These self contained groups can generate alot of excess cash, and that cash will be invested in local business and real estate leading to this cult or sect to become economically dominant in their little area.

A large part of the reason for this insular nature was external pressure. Jews experienced frequent attacks, pogroms, exiles and were forbidden from entering a large list of professions. They didn't have much choice except banding together.

And now in America they are the wealthiest and most successful people by the numbers, the most privileged, and can use that prior victim status to push political agendas and run and maintain Jewish identity organizations that very often work to the detriment of the native population. They maintain this nature while most of their leadership preaches that if White Americans were to adopt anything close to this that would be Nazism/white nationalism/racism/antisemitic.
