Second (or Third) Russo-Japanese War

Sow the Wind, Reap the Whirlwind ...

Indeed.Russia case is proof, that czekist could not be good tsar.Putin should turn Russia into second China - but he choosed Venezuella with H bombs and big bad army.

Later,he could sell oil to Japan, but he need gave up Kuriles for that.Russia not need those islands, and they would live from sending oil and gas there.

But,he sell oil to China instead - country who owned part of Siberia once, and never forget it.Putin alliance would let to Rusia loosing it to China.

If i remember correctly Borys Godunow, dude who led Moscov to smuta period, was opricznik - kind of KGB made by Ivan the coward.
It seems, that Putin would do the same.

In the wake of suspended negotiations over Peace Talks with Russia, North Korea testing new ballistic missiles and last July when China threatened to nuke Japan over Taiwanese assistance, Japan has shockingly and needlessly decided to ponder the exploration of attaining counterstrike capabilities.

Stripes said:
There’s a consensus among Japanese defense experts that their country needs a strike capability, according to Tetsuo Kotani, a senior research fellow at The Japan Institute of International Affairs.

Japan operates Patriot and Aegis missile defense systems on shore and at sea. But simply aiming to defeat incoming missiles from China and North Korea will not be enough, Kotani told Stars and Stripes by phone Tuesday.

“We are trying to introduce counterstrike capabilities,” he said. “We will rely on existing missile defense systems to intercept the first wave of missiles but after missile strikes start, we need to eliminate the missile launchers or runways in enemy territory to disrupt their operations.”

The government is apparently in consultation with security and military experts over this potential expansion of their military capabilities.

Well, they were moving towards this development for some time now, it will most likely be JDAM kits for their aircraft and BGM-109 for their ships with Mk. 41 VLS.

Honestly, I think Russia should press its claim here. Or else it'll lose credibility and allow the Japanese Fascists to continually threaten the Kurils and Far East. The Japanese are a weak, aged, and passive people. They won't fight back. Three days until Hokkaido falls.

Japanese lawmakers are discussing developing more significant 'counterstrike' capability in the wake of increasing threats from North Korea, China and Russia.

USNI said:
“You’ll have to hit the other country’s territory” for effective counterstrike, said Onodera, one of the authors of Japan’s 2013 strategies. Sato estimated that China had 1,900 missiles in its arsenal and said Beijing has ratcheted up tensions in the Taiwan Strait in recent months. It’s also continuously probing Japanese air and maritime defense forces to test response time. As an example of that, China sent an eight-ship carrier strike group through the Miyako Strait this week as it sailed to the Pacific.

While China flexes military muscle around Taiwan and Japan, Russia test-fired submarine-launched cruise missiles in the Sea of Japan. Moscow also conducted a 10-ship surface naval group exercises close to the Japanese home islands.

Japan’s new strategies, developed by the Liberal Democratic Party, have been sent to Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. Adding the counterstrike capability to the strategy, however, remains controversial with the party’s coalition partner in the government.

Of equal concern to the Komeito party is the Liberal Democrats’ five-year plan to boost Tokyo’s defense spending to 2 percent of its gross domestic product. This is in line with the goal set by NATO in 2014 following Russia’s seizure of Crimea from Ukraine.

The last time their strategic outlook was significantly overhauled was back in 2013 and the Lawmakers are careful to state this isn't to develop or much less "engage in first strike" operations but deterrence via denial.

Also... pretty pictures of a ship launch!

Say Hello to the Mogami!

The Mogami will be the lead frigate of the Mogami-class, which itself is a namesake that was famously held by a class of Japanese Heavy Cruisers that served with deadly distinction in World War Two at famous Battles in the Dutch East Indies, Midway and Leyte Gulf.

Huh, they kinda look like a FREMM with a different bridge; much cleaner lines than a FREMM, though.

Not possible,Russia was destroyed 100 years ago.And Japan do not need to attack kgbstan,it is killing itself on Ukraine just now.
Look, the KGB does not control the Freemasons and the Illuminati, and the Reptilians.
Not enough babies blood and vodka!

Of course, they only control Moscov and its spies in world. And now, they decided to destroy their army on Ukraine.Which mean, that Japan could buy popcorn and wait looking like Kgb is destroing itself without firing even one schoot.
