United States Sam Dickson - “The GOP is Finished”

Sam Dickson, which might be described as a White Nationalist or at least a right wing racially interested populist who is affiliated with American Renaissance, wrote a letter to the editor of The Nationalist Times saying that the GOP is finished. I think that he makes some good points and may unfortunately be right. Here is the letter:

The GOP is Finished
Demographics will determine everything.

Trump carried Georgia by only 3% in 2016; Hillary received 47%. Running for governor, Stacey Abrams – who is far more radical and openly White-hating than Clinton or Sanders – got 48.5% two years later, thereby cutting Trump’s margin in half.

Trump won’t carry Georgia in 2020 and neither will any other potential GOP nominee.

Trump carried Florida by a whisker. Florida enfranchised 1.4 million felons by referendum in the last election. Hundreds of thousands of these people will be voting Democrat by a margin of 9 to 1.

3,000 Puerto Ricans per day swarmed into Florida for many months in the wake of the 2017 hurricane that ravaged Puerto Rico. Thanks to our first “globalist” president, William McKinley, they are all “U.S. citizens” and they will be voting in Florida in 2020. The hundreds of thousands of felons plus several hundred thousand Puerto Ricans plus other immigrants plus newly matured non-Whites equals a Democrat landslide victory in Florida.

The GOP will never carry Florida again – not merely for the presidency but for any state-wide race. Florida is the new California.

Beto O’Rourke, running as an avowed “progressive,” i.e., an open borders White-hating socialist, got 48.5% of the vote in Texas in 2018. In 2020 several hundred thousand more non-Whites will be voting in Texas and scores of thousands of old Whites who voted for Trump will be dead.

The GOP can write off Texas.

Trump carried several states by only a few thousand votes. Four more years of explosive non-White growth and White die-off will have extinguished any chance of the Republican Party carrying those states.

Georgia + Florida + Texas + the razor-thin victory states of 2016 = an inevitable victory for the Democrats in 2020.

And for every year thereafter.
It’s over.

The GOP is finished. Three generations of phony posturing and conning its base while secretly slavishly obeying the dictates of the minority racists and pimping for the 1% have come to an end.

The White race is not gone forever. But the GOP is.

That he is an ignorant ideologue who doesn't really know what he is talking about?

The entire demographics is destiny line is pure shit without any real basis in reality. Playing into it is how you ensure that you don't win elections.

Bush pulled 40% of the Hispanic vote in 2004, Trump pulled 28% in 2016.

Trump is pulling 15% approval from African Americans (almost double what he got in 2016).

This entire letter is just playing into the (idiotic) stereotype of the Republican party as the party of racists. It will do more to turn off the voters that you need to win than simply not saying racist things.

Those claims of yours don’t match reality though. California is a blue state and will be forever. Virginia has similarly transformed. Other states will follow. He’s right about the states he has mentioned too. For decades Republicans have been saying that they will win over various minorities if the just kiss their asses a little bit more and become Democrat light. It hasn’t worked and if we don’t close those borders ASAP the USA will fundamentally and permanently change.

'[x] party is finished!' is an overhyped and overused tagline used, frankly, by folks with a lot more political analysis credit to their names than a random writer with an obsession centered upon his glorious and pure alabaster skin. And they've been wrong with every iteration of it. I hold little credit to Dickson being somehow gifted with a better analysis than those others, particularly since he bases his upon an obsessions centered upon his glorious and pure alabaster skin.

Trump is a shitty metric to base predictions off of in the first place because he's Trump, O'Rourke similarly because he was running against the most-despised Republican Senator there is, and it's amazing how he dismisses the puncture of the Blue Wall (where conventional wisdom dictated the same 'the GOP would never carry again' line) in one line.

It's almost like voters have agency outside of their skin color.
But, then, that's one he seems to dismiss out the gate, so it should be no surprise his analysis fails to account for it, ideologically-based as it is upon the purity and glory of alabaster skin.

California won't remain blue forever, it will remain blue probably for another generation.

Virginia went blue after eight years of Obama and against a Republican who basically trashed the entire foreign policy "consensus" of the Republican party. VA, more than any other state, switches with the Presidency as it is where basically everyone who comes into Washington with a change in government lives. If the Democrats run Sanders, Virginia very likely goes for Trump this time around.

As for winning over minorities, it has nothing to do with "kissing their asses". Republicans don't win over minorities by promising them free shit or promising to treat them like special snowflakes; Republicans win over minorities by promising to treat them exactly like any other American and ensure that they have the same rights, freedoms, and options as any other American. You win over minorities by pointing out the racism, hypocrisy, and feckless incompetence of the Democrats. "You've voted for these people for a hundred years, what have they done to make your lives better?" is a potent line.

If the Republicans can pull a mere twenty percent of the African American vote then they will comfortably win something like 350+ electoral votes in every election for another generation.

Trump is polling fifteen percent with African Americans right now, and in 2016 he got somewhere between 8 and 11%.

The Republicans have a path to victory, it is to embrace once again the ideals this nation was founded upon and to be color blind. Call Affirmative Action what it is; an insult to African Americans and pure racism. Call illegal immigration what it is; an insult to American Hispanics and racism designed to create an unaccounted, permanent, underclass because the Hollywood elites and New York Journalists are too cheap to pay minimum wage to their gardeners and maids. Call the entire concept that the Democrats espouse out for what it is; pure racism. These poor benighted blacks and hispanics need the whitey master race to step in and give them a leg up because they can't stand besides whitey as his equal, they need a handout if they want to stand besides us.

You don't win by playing into white nationalism or race politics, you win by utterly and completely repudiating the entire concept of identitarianism and identity politics. There are only Americans and everyone else; and what makes you an American isn't your race, your birth, your wealth, your religion, your sexuality, your gender. It is your willingness to champion the ideals that made the United States the greatest nation in human history; the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights.

If Black Americans who have ties to this country as long or longer than most whites are put aside in favor of illegal immigration and open borders and that really reverberates through their community, I can see that at the very least being pretty convincing to stay at home at the very least and not vote for either party, or make a switch. Biden is the one candidate who is even slightly against illegal immigration, its no wonder he polls best with African Americans.

This white supremacist douchebag probably won't even like the non-whites voting Republican and having Right-Leaning Economic Policies and attitudes

Isn't there a thing about Black VS Latino's in Inner Cities? I think even they don't want to deal with a certain third wave of immigration that would spit on both of them and demand they cover all their women up and never eat pork

Virginia has similarly transformed.
Virginia didn't transform because of the non-white vote. Hell, historically Virginia has ALWAYS had a larger than average minority voting block. No, what shifted Virginia was the immigration of COLLEGE EDUCATED WHITES into Northern Virginia en mass from New York city and California to support the ever growing Federal government. Has there been other immigration? Yes, certainly, but if you eliminated the flood of Yankees and the California Fruit & Nut mix, the increased number of Hispanic and Asians in Virginia wouldn't be anywhere near enough to have shifted the State.

Does it really matter if those states go democrat if the Midwest rustbelt goes Republican? That was the whole strategy of Trump to begin with, and it worked. Also, the economy is so hot right now, especially for minorities, that we will see continued shattering of the minority blocks in the US to support the Republicans. Trump did better among Hispanics than Romney did, despite all the Democrat hysteria about his position. And finally, some past analyses of convicted felon demographics in Florida suggest that actually a large percentage of them will vote Republican.

I think the author of the letter is making these claims in anticipation of a Trump defeat so that he can look prescient and therefore attract recruits to his beliefs; however, in reality, I have to feel the American electorate is extremely consistent and whether or not Trump is reelected at this point (as his approval ratings continue to go up) relies on a single metric: The Economy. If job growth and economic growth continue through October, Trump will be reelected. If we enter a recession by October, Trump will lose.

The future of the Republican Party requires that it do one very important thing.

Give up on the K-Street business class that runs the party.

It needs to become a true working class Conservative party. Not a party divided between the donor elite and its rural constituents.

Win over the dilapidated Midwest, and give them something concrete, and the republicans will have secured themselves a future.

As for minorities-any defection from the Democrats is good, get say 10-20% of the black vote and Trump will be securely re-elected.

Oh look, another Black Pilled pissant playing the demographics is destiny card. I suppose it might be destiny for an actual white supremacist, but the American ideal gives all of two shits for melanin count. Declaring either party dead is foolhardy for basic reasons, but his demographic horseshit is a putrid Democratic talking point and everyone knows it.

I will say that that seems to be the Trump plan. He's punted the neocon flavored Republicans out and has openly embraced the Unions and thrown them juicy bones during the trade negotiations. I'm a little leery of the bargain, Unions are poor bedmates, but walking off with an abandoned Democratic electoral body is a good strategy and the unions are more or less anti-globalist so they do slot into his faction.

If he pulls this off and succeeds in diluting the Democrats hold over black and Latin voters, the Dems are toast. They rely on their carefully segregated ethnic pig pens to maintain control and all the GOP has to do is steal a minor plurality to devastate Democratic voting patterns.

once again we are going through a political realignment, that means a total shake up of alliances and a brand new party system.

The republican party as we knew it died after dubyas term, he quite frankly was such a disaster that he shattered the party. The party during Obama's only real policy was being anti Obama so when they won again Trump walked into a party that ideologically speaking was used up and burned out. It had been built upon the idea of an idealized 1950s that wasn't coming back and a political system who's purpose for existing died with the end of the cold war.

The republican party is currently being rebuilt into some thing else.

The democratic party like wise collapsed but unlike a lot of people I don't blame Obama. The democratic party was born on the idea of an idealized 1960s. Of a struggle for racial, gender, and sexual equality. The thing is what do you do after you win that fight? The idea that women are persecuted legally in America is a open and laughable lie, you just had a black president in office so saying that racisms holding the black community back is pretty laughable too. Gay rights? Gay marrage is a thing they won. You can fight for trans rights but then they won that one with barely any push back.

The fight is over, the battle won and the question is what do you do after wards?

That's the thing that's going to collapse the democrats because there was never an endgame ever a plan just a continuous forever struggle thing is that doesn't work because sooner or later people have lives to live and want to know why their communities have actual crap on the ground, and are falling apart.

So the author? I think his precepts are built upon a false foundation the republican party will survive but the politics as a nation of a whole are going to be very different then today.
