So things are getting air-to-air interesting now.

Oh man that map is so cool. It's like a 45 kilometer sniper shot. It's like those games you played as a kid. You can't cross a line but you can still reach out and SMACK them before running away.

One thing hasn't gotten the attention it deserves is Turkey's use of drones. While the US has used drones to kill alleged terrorists, Turkey's use shows the viability of drones in conventional warfare.

Apparently dozens to hundreds of soldiers and vehicles of the SAA have been neutralized.

Al Jazeera had an article on them as well. Nice article which goes into some detail but offers more background context actually.

The fellow who made the Turkish Military drone company was a University of Pennsylvania graduate.

Apparently the Gulf Arabs and Saudi backed Rebels is using Chinese made ones in Libya's Civil War as well.

Since we have a healthy Warhammer fanbase I made some (Sietch exclusive) memes to help illustrate some of the core issues at play here...

The fascinating question is whether or not any cease-fire in Syria can last longer than two days...

another question is if a end of the Syrian war is good for us.

Turkey's current leadership doesn't like us, Iran's a known enemy, We have so many problems with Russia it isn't funny a three way war where they bleed themselves dry is good for us.

At the end of the day, Turkey is not willing or able to slug it out with Russia and Syria without US and NATO backing.

Don't forgot that after Trump pulled the troops out, the deep state put them back in, ostensibly to protect the oil wells in Eastern Syria from being retaken by the government and their presence is increasingly grating on all sides. So in coming months American troops there can expect more and more IEDs, suicide drones, ATGMs and mortar attacks by various ''rogue actors''.

And somehow they will still blame it all on Trump

Considering Turkey wanted to purchase PAC-3 in the first place and were denied by the USA, they won't do the trade out of sheer spite.

That, and there's the matter of that teeeny little coup orchestrated by Fethullah Gulen out of his US home where he most certainly isn't living as guest of CIA...

Erdogan strikes me as having tried to pull off more than he could chew. He's no Osman or Suleiman come again. And I imagine Putin likely finds any pretensions that he has, most amusing.

To be fair most western countries are currently dominatated by said pussies, so they have a point.

That however only lasts until they run out of other peoples money and shit hits the fan, then you get a casade failure and things change very rapidly.

Unfortunately, I don't think people end up being open minded afterwards, I think given their going into extremes of near cult-like behavior

ACTUAL white supremacists and homophobes and other bigots would rise from ironically, the very Far Left types and they'd STILL be very much a bunch of statists
