Europeans and Asians.
Does Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, or other Asian country US has strong relations with actually care?
What Europeans? You mean leftists and French who have their own reason?
For one in Poland no one except for few hardcore leftists cares.
Corporate profits, not government ones; the US government paid the bill for Haliburton.

Even before then. He funding his wars on borrowing while cutting taxes. 2008 just put it all into overdrive.

Bush blocked the Republican bill to regulate Freddie and Fannie:
Yeah, Bush was as much of an establishment centrist as he is now, and so is Jeb, they were hiding it better back then.
Doesn't change the fact that it was democrats lobbying for such treatment of this institution.

Since Obama repaired those relations on his famous (or I'm sure you'd claim 'infamous') apology tour things were restored during this period and the 'Asian Pivot'.

All of them. Them shirking on NATO payments and working more with Putin on energy among other things were a factor.

Who cares about Poland? They are begging for US and German troops to protect them anyway. They're a drain, not a significant add to NATO even if they sent a few thousand guys to fight Bush's wars.

Uh-huh. You've got no counter argument.

You mean made local leftists cheer. Outside of that circle it was widely mocked and laughed at.

You mean exactly as they were doing before? Wow...

Who cares about Poland? They are begging for US and German troops to protect them anyway. They're a drain, not a significant add to NATO even if they sent a few thousand guys to fight Bush's wars.
40 million country that doesn't need to pretend brooms are machineguns.

Uh-huh. You've got no counter argument.
I don't even want one, yeah, Bush was not right wing enough, i don't feel like defending him from that direction.

Ehh poland actually meets their nato commitment unlike the vast majority of Europe, so they aren't really a drain.

They spend their 2%, but 2% of their GDP is not what 2% of say France or Germany's would be and neither of those states are begging the US to build bases in their countries and forward station combat units there. So when I say drain I mean they want the US to spend more than Poland is contributing to defend them so they don't have to spend as much on their own defense.

Why beg when Germany already has some of the biggest US foreign bases, largest US Army presence in Europe by a big margin, nuclear sharing, they already have all that they theoretically could be begging for, so what would be the point :D
Also Poland has lower salaries and such costs than Germany on the other hand.

Because Poland wants all that in Poland, not Germany. Also the US has been drawing down from Germany for decades and has only about 35,000 troops left in Germany, but not for German protection, instead most of that is for US use in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. They're just using existing built up cold war infrastructure for the purpose. The expense of rebuilding all that in Poland would severely outweigh any benefits you'd get in lower wages; it is good for Poland, not really the US financially speaking.

Besides, ensuring Germany/the EU aren't running a separate foreign policy from the US is much more in the interest of America than worrying about Poland sucking up to Putin.

Nuclear sharing is a relic of the cold war, with little practical use today and AFAIK only a couple dozen tactical nukes even in country. If that.

I mean the guy who bang banged fang fang proposed it.

Yeah Swalwell and another Democrat Ruben Gallego of Arizona decided to bring that up, apparently thinking the five thousand Russians studying in the United States are all children of Russian oligarchs.

Their suggestions were pretty quickly thought to be stupid by most outlets and people in general it seems.

He just wants to show how hard he is on foreign influences after being so hard on Bang Bang'ing foreign influencers.

They want to do this for Russians based on birth but are still silent on Chinese students and other academics who are actually utilizing the University system for spying.

There is this guy in Prague who made a post saying he wouldn't teach Russian students but he deleted the post.
