In a first for the EU, one of their member countries has pursued a trial for an Iranian diplomatic official. Iran said it will not recognize the verdict in a trial in Belgium against one of its diplomats, Assadolah Assadi, who along with three other Iranians, was accused of planning to bomb an opposition groups rally in France in 2018. The diplomat who was based out of Vienna at the time, was arrested in Germany while on Holiday. Two of his alleged accomplices were arrested in Belgium whilst in possession of bombmaking materials including timers.

The rally was in support of the NCRI, the political wing of the MEK which is an organization dedicated to the overthrow of Iran, and removed from the US Terrorism list after renouncing political violence to achieve its ends. At this rally, Rudy Giuliani, who has advocated for the movement before, would've been one of the keynote speakers.

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
Have to be quite honest. They are funding this costly eternal jihad at the cost of their own citizens. Just like the crusade itself enthusiasm and funding was quite high but now it's puttering out.

There are more like Heshmat Alavi growing day by day who are sick of the government funding terrorist groups for the Jihad while they get barely any care unless they dissent and they get arrested.

Nothing like a precision assassination of a top nuclear scientist whilst in his vehicle via satellite linked remote controlled machine gun using artificial intelligence powered facial recognition software but somehow Iran knows Israel did it because there was a 'Made in Israel' stamp on the literal smoking gun. :sneaky:

Then again sounds like believable oversight if it was true. 😁

Was said weapon using those special laser-guided bullets that can change course in mid-air and home in on the laser spot?

Nah, that's just the Iranian media (or investigators?) being stupid. I doubt that's the way it happened, and I did hear at least one different version of his the assassination went down.

A squad of around a dozen operatives with special forces training and at least 2 snipers among them ambushed the scientist's convoy on its way to his private villa. The convoy consisted of 3 vehicles, with the target sitting in the middle one. The assassins had accurate intelligence on the scientist's schedule. They neutralized the rear vehicle by IED and the others by massed firepower before closing in on the target's vehicle and eliminating him up close. Then they slipped away without getting caught.

The above image is one frame from a video of Hezbollah's (the largest Iranian proxy force) elite Radwan unit (think of them as terrorist special ops). Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese Al-Manar news network recently released the propaganda video of Hezbollah parades and combat training.

In the frame above one can see an advanced, top of the line Russian Verba MANPADS strapped to the back of a Hezbollah terrorist. These are weapons that the Russian army itself had in it's possession for merely 6 years.

Well yeah it isn’t like Russia is able to use them themselves right now, so they need testing data, ideally from being used against a force that is technologically advanced. So they probably supplied some to the,, for that purpose.
