"While I was waiting for them to arrive, I drove a little further and noticed another package, and then another," she said. "At that point, I called SFS (Security Forces Squadron) back and suggested they bring their UTV, or Utility Terrain Vehicle, as I counted at least 18 packages."
A member of the Space Force Security Forces Squadron, Sgt. Joseph Parker suspected that the packages contained drugs so he closed the beach and reached out to the local sheriff’s office to alert them.
What was the sign even about, out of curiosity?
A thirty year old French woman who stuck her sign into the path of oncoming cyclists during the Tour de France and caused a massive crash pileup was arrested today by French authorities. The Tour De France has already announced it won't file a lawsuit against her for the incident however.
Immediately after the incident she had fled the scene, sparking an investigation into her wherabouts. If none of the cyclists turn out to be seriously injured, she'll be facing a 1500 Euro fine. She maybe facing larger penalties if individual riders pursue legal action however. One Spanish rider, Marc Soler, suffered fractures in both arms and could not continue the race after the crash while German cyclist Jasha Sutterlin was hospitalized afterwards for a severe non-fractured wrist injury. Eight other riders also required medical treatment.

To be fair peacocks can be pretty annoying.California man hired an assassin via Craigslist to eliminate a wild peacock that allegedly had been terrorizing his home for the past several months with its morning wakeup calls.
Apparently the hit was carried out... on someone elses property and the Peacock died a slow and agonizing death, bleeding out on some neighbors property before not being found for a significant period of time.
While killing wild animals isn't a crime apparently, discharging weapons on other peoples property and animal cruelty is.
So a local newspaper interviewed the man and got a surreal interview with him...
Hit taken out on neighborhood peacock over Craigslist, bird gunned down by assassin
This must have been one annoying bird:notthebee.com
That doesn't seem all that surreal to me. He's basically denying any involvement and refusing to comment on anything. Nothing surreal about that since at least one of the neighbors is pretty upset about it, and you can bet if he admitted to anything that this Karen would get the law involved, and since a firearm was involved, it could potentially be pretty bad for him the way the courts are skewed now.
DOT Esports said:The U.S. Central District Court of California judge decided on the case as a default judgement after the defendants did not appear to contest Ubisoft’s case. The court ordered the three men—Dennis Kruk, Benjamin Ruesink, and Roland-Daniel Soos—to pay $153,092, the majority of which consisted of attorneys fees owed by Ubisoft to its representation.
It marked an end to the 18-month case, which Ubisoft first filed in January 2020. Ubisoft filed a motion for a default judgement in February 2021. Over the course of the litigation, Ubisoft hired independent investigators to identify the three defendants, who allegedly ran a number of websites selling DoS and DDoS services. Those sites included sng.one, r6.support, r6s.support, stressed-stresser-stressing-stressers.com, and r6ddos.com, and potentially more.
The court ordered the defendants to shut down those websites, and if they own the domains, they must also turn them over to Ubisoft. Any social network accounts intertwined with the websites must also be closed.
This is dedication for you. Then again, spite is a powerful motivator.A 39 year old man recently released from a psychiatric hospital stole a school bus, escaped the police, hitchhiked across several counties to the town where his Wife lived... stole a front loader and then used it to flip over a car through the front of her house.
