New Jersey Democratic State Senator Sandra Cunningham was arrested for a DWI after ramming into two parked cars. Visibly slurring and swaying, she denied she had anything to drink but somehow failed her field sobriety test. In response she said she was "cold."

When things looked bad, the Honorable State Senator asked if James Shea, the Jersey City Director of Public Safety, could be called to the scene, accusing the police of "looking for something." He was not called and she was arrested.

Her Attorneys have stated she was denied medical assistance by the police.
