So no more official ranks or promotions?
Only to the extent needed for interaction with other legions/organs of the IoM.

Part of it is that even without the Battle Meditation, their armor is modified to cross load sensor take and interface with their nervous systems to a greater degree than the norm; using tech to produce a crude approximation of the awareness granted by the primarch.

Beyond that, and again thanks to Angron basically hanging out in their brains 24/7, they are indoctrinated hard into the idea of their role and purpose in the Imperium. They do not fight for honor or glory; they fight to destroy the enemies of a unified humanity.

EDIT:
Imagine an army made up entirely of superlatively trained veterans who have fought together for decades, have unbreakable morale, and know literally everything that there is to know about one another. Do they need leadership when everyone of them is more than qualified to lead and everyone of them knows exactly what orders would be given even before they are issued? More than any other legion, they are an army of one.
End edit.

It is not for the Death Dealers to protect individual worlds of the Imperium, or to convince their people to pay their tithes, or to oversee infrastructure building or the like; their purpose is simply to be the avenging wind of death, striking down humanities enemies as efficiently as possible - without regard for morality, perception, or their own personal feelings on the matter.

In the Emperor's plans, the Death Dealers would initially be the legion deployed against the more established enemy polities. And even then less to bling individual planets or systems into compliance but to simply destroy any potential competitor powers and then let the more personable legions handle the clean up & compliance operations on the individual worlds.

Once the galaxy was under the Emperor's control, the Twelfth would essentially become the proper military and Angron the Minister of War. They would be the ones doing things like leading the crusade to wipe the orks and Eldar out and, in the long term, dealing with things when proper military force is needed.

For example, The Ultramarines would work in conjunction with the Word Bearers as the occupation & rebuilding force; working hand in hand to establish the administrative organs on the worlds of the Imperium and indoctrinate those populations into the Imperium's ideology.

Each legion and primarch had a designed role (although the Emperor did build in some redundancy).

D. Gray-Man X Dresden Files
By Act or ROB, a young Allen Walker and his rather insane but kinda nice adoptive father....Mana D. Campbell are somehow sent over to the Dresden-Verse

They have no idea how the hell they are more than a century into the future, the latter is wondering if he’ll find his brother Neah and still sorta wondering why he’s a middle aged man when he says he’s 17

Either of the following occurs, Allen/Red is taken by Child Services as his “father” is obviously scatter brained and homeless and possibly insane in a non-threatening way or the Fomor kidnap him to make him into a Servitor

Optionally, the Angels are aware of them and watch over....Harry maybe tries helping Mana NOT go crazier and reject the “Earl’s Mantle”

Okay, say how does SI!Angron get along with the other brothers?
Considering that he takes Guilliman's place in chastising Lorgar and is much less nice about it (Angron takes Lorgars head, kills his whole legion, and puts his worlds to the torch); not super duper well.

He despises Magnus and flat out says at the Council of Nikaea that he thinks that the Thousand Sons are a collection of xenos collaborating traitors and that the only reason he hasn't already moved against Magnus and put the entire legion to the sword is the direct order of the Emperor not to do so.

He is leery of Horus but is hopeful that without Erebus, Horus won't fall.

The two that Angron gets along with best with are the Lion and Russ. Largely in the shared fact that all of them, individually, recognize what their role is supposed to be, accept it, and aren't going to doubt it.

Honestly, most of his brothers don't really like Angron even before he lops off Lorgar's head and tells Magnus that Angron would kill him if the Emperor wasn't stopping him from doing so.

A very large part of that is that Angron has probably the closest relationship with the Emperor. Angron's knowledge of, and utter antipathy towards, Chaos is cause enough for the Emperor to keep him close and let him in on some of the Emperor's greater plans. That Angron goes out of his way to establish a good relationship with Malcador and really doesn't have any issue with regular humans running the Imperium also contribute to this trust.

In addition, Angron is uniquely capable of literally sitting on Terra and yet still personally commanding his forces across the entire breadth of the Imperium. Short of truly strong Warp disruption that is capable of interfering with his link with the soulbonded Librarians of his legion, the only difference between Angron being on Terra or being in the system of the forces that he is commanding is Angron's own, personal, presence on the battlefield/as a combatant. So Angron will default to hanging out in Sol/around the Emperor.

That somewhat comes to a head when Angron goes back to Terra with the Emperor after Horus is named Warmaster.

Idea:
A Space Marine (I'm thinking a Raven Guard who was one of the rare survivors of Istvan 5, perhaps he was on Terra at the time for some reason. Or maybe undergoing Tech-Marine training) ends up experiencing Warp Fuckerytm and pops out in the Stargate universe on some random world. Timeline wise, well before the SGC is started up.

Spacey McSpaceMarine decides that xenos ruling the galaxy and enslaving humans is Just Not On. Petty details like the fact that he is one space marine with nothing but his arms and armor and that his enemies rule the galaxy are immaterial.

Spacey munchies on a few locals to learn the language and lay of the land and starts looking for suitable recruitment targets while gathering resources/intelligence via killing the goa'uld. Extracting ones own geneseed for implantation isn't exactly easy but needs must.

The story follows Spacey rebuilding the Raven Guard in this new universe while simultaneously trying to fight the goa'uld, unify the human population, raise an army, and nation build.

I do like the idea of a Raven Guard Tech-Marine shortly after the Heresy. And no, I doubt that naming the main character Spacey McSpaceMarine is a good idea. ;)

Say, ever read any of Robert E. Howard’s works?

Because a “barbarian” Angron with the surprising intellectual ability to analyse, keep up with bureacracy and trade, be surprisingly eloquent and constantly disgusted with the “decadence” of even the least advanced iron age civilizations sorta sounds awesome
Yes, I've read some of his stuff before. I mean can you call yourself a proper sci-fi/fantasy fan and not have read Conan at least once?

----
SI!Angron idea stuffs
----

When Angron is first recovered, in response to the Emperor's offer for Angron's followers to be inducted into the 12th:

"Sir, we're with you." spoke Solomance.

Angron met the eyes of the man who had been by his side from the very beginning; the first of his fellow gladiators that Angron had judged worthy of life, the first to have been freed after his resurrection, and the first among his commanders. Then he met the rest of their eyes one by one.

In the end though Angron shook his head and spoke with finality, "No. When I started this fight I swore an oath to see you all freed from your chains and I will not bind you so again."

Solomance spoke with anger plain in his voice "It is not slavery to fight besides you friend. Why do you deny us this choice?"

"Because a choice without understanding is no choice at all and to fight by my side in this cause is slavery most final.

"I was created as the very embodiment of combat, I am humanity's vengeance against those who would enslave us made manifest, I am the very embodiment of wrath without mercy, temperament, qualification, equivocation, or limitation.

"I am not my brothers and my legion will not be as theirs. In my legion there will be no personal glory, honors, or legacy. All I will offer is service as humanities sword and shield against its enemies, and the price I will demand for the privilege of being that sword and shield is everything. They will be melted down and reforged in body, mind, and soul to be nothing more, or less, than the most perfect tools for me to wield in my task.

"No, to join my legion is slavery on a level, and with a finality, that you can not comprehend and so I will deny you the opportunity. I will not be named oathbreaker for even you, Solomance."

Than man seemed anguished but still seemed to accept than Angron would not be changing his mind in this. "Then what would you have us do? Would you simply abandon us now that you father has arrived?"

I gave my closest companion a fond smile, "No, I would instead ask you to do me the favor of turning Nuceria into an exemplar of what I and my legion fight for. I would ask you to give us that most precious of things; a light when we are at our darkest, living proof that humanity is worthy of the sacrifices that we have made in its name.

"Turn this world into the very embodiment of what my fathers ideology promises humanity."

There, among the flowers hesitantly poking themselves out of soil so steeped in blood that it was a wonder it was not permanently red, his companions took a knee and one by one swore what would be recorded as the Promise of Nuceria; to build a world worthy of the sacrifices its finest sons made in humanities name.

----
Muster yard of the XII legion, Terra, first full muster since the discovery of Angron:

Angron stood on the dais, looking out over the serried ranks of the hundred and sixty three thousand, six hundred and twenty nine full Astartes who composed his legion.

"Astartes of the Twelfth, you have served my father and the Great Crusade well; at the forefront of every battle, always to be found where the fighting was thickest. You earned your moniker, the Emperor's War Hounds, justly and paid the price in blood; your own and your enemies.

"You have rightly earned honors, and some of you have even become legends whose tales will be told for centuries to come."

The rumbling of approval as their primarch praised them seemed to come from every throat and shake the very buildings around them with its volume. Angron gave it a few moments, waiting for it to quiet before continuing.

"And yet the task given me by the Emperor allows no room for honor, no room for legacy. As I told those who fought besides me on Nuceria and demanded to continue to fight by my side in the greater galaxy; I was created as the very embodiment of combat, I am humanity's vengeance against those who would enslave us made manifest, I am the very embodiment of wrath without mercy, temperament, qualification, equivocation, or limitation.

"In my service you will only ever take one oath; a pledge to sacrifice all that you are, will, or every could be in service to humanity. You will be expected to do whatever is needed to ensure humanity remains free to chart its own destiny, to make whatever sacrifices that task requires of you without hesitation, regret, or doubt.

"Your lives will consist of nothing but training to kill humanities enemies as efficiently as possible or killing humanities enemies as efficiently as possible.

"From my forces I demand far more than my brothers demand from their own, for they have their own tasks to accomplish in their own ways. Indeed, what I demand from you is equal to what my father demands from his own Custodes."

Angron was again silent, taking in the barely restrained tension singing in the minds and souls of his Astartes.

"That is why I have spoken with my father and brothers, those who choose not to make the sacrifices that I demand will suffer no dishonor and will be allowed to join their legions as full brothers."

The War Hounds recoiled at that, regardless of my words it could be nothing less than a great dishonor to be deemed unworthy of their own primarch.

"If you choose to make this most ultimate of sacrifices then know that you take your last breaths among the living, for when you kneel and make your oath you will be dead men. Your names, your honors, and your feats die with your oath. You will rise a true Angel of Death; one of my Death Dealers.

"Your existence from that moment forth will be spent with the dead as your only company; either reaping by your side or being crushed under your feet to fertilize the soil for humanities growth.

"As a Death Dealer you will not fight or engage in combat; you will simply deal death to humanities enemies in whatever manner is most efficient and move onto the next enemy in line. As a Death Dealer you will not kill with fury, hatreted, anger, or joy for those are all emotions and emotions cloud judgement and interfere with efficiency; you will simply dispatch your foes clinically and with calm dispassion, they are dying because their death serves humanity and that is all that matters.

"So, men of the War Hounds, the fiercest of the Legiones Astartes, your worth of the field of battle has earned you the honor of an invitation to become the first of my Death Dealers. Who among you will die this day in service to humanity? Who among you will die not in the raging maelstrom of battle or a quirk of bad luck but knowingly, willingly, and calmly for no reason save that service to humanity asks of you the ultimate sacrifice?"

One by one they knelt until none stood; history would record that the War Hounds to the last man that day and the Emperor would personally honor the legion for the supreme sacrifice that they willingly made. In their place would rise a force clad in black, unadorned save for a blood red, three headed dog.

Angron was pleased, and not at all surprised, that they all knelt; but even as they rose he knew that a great many of them would die in the near future. Most of them weren't truly suitable for the reimagined twelfth and so he would spend the lives of the less suitable to preserve the lives of the more suitable even as he reformed the Legions selection process to produce Astartes in the mold that he desired.

---
Planet Elysium, Hades System, Segmentum Solar

As the last of the recruits were chivvied into place, Angron began to address them from the balcony that he stood on.

"Welcome to Elysium. You are here because you volunteered and testing has shown that you have the physical potential to become one of my Death Dealers. You stand besides a million other young men just like you, about to be tested in mind, body, and spirit to the breaking point and beyond. This testing is entirely voluntary and you are free to quit at any time with no dishonor; for this testing is also lethal to a great many who attempt it.

"To give you a foretaste of how lethal, you will each be split into groups of one hundred and dropped on Niflheim with nothing but a Lasgun, a basic survival pack, and a destination. If all one hundred of your group reach your destination then a shuttle will be immediately dispatched to pick you up; the shuttle will be delayed for one day for every member of your group who is missing.

"I should mention that Niflheim was a jungle death world before we arrived in system and decided that it was insufficiently deadly for our purposes. So we seeded the world with a great many orks, imported a few exceptionally nasty critters from across the galaxy, and turned it into a dumping ground for the Mechanicum's defective combat servitors."

Seeing the horror on the faces of the potential recruits, Angron gave a kind smile and continued in a gentler voice "Remember, you may quit at any time. Just use the Vox bead that you will be provided to say that you quit and have decided that being a Death Dealer is not for you and one of us will be down to pick you up. Remember though, for everyone missing at the end it will be another day that your fellow aspirants need to hold out."

---
Last test of the Aspirants
---

"Congratulations Aspirants, you have passed all of our tests and proving yourself potential Death Dealers. Alas, it seems that this cadres training was a bit too easy and we only have one opening for you hundred aspirants to fill. Furthermore, you have passed our selection process and learned our secrets.

"Your final task is to select from amongst yourself who is best suited to become a Death Dealer. Once you have decided on your candidate, he must gain ninety nine votes to be confirmed. To vote you will come up to me, tell me your vote, and then drink from the Chalice of Silence; the poison within will insure you an instant and painless death."

...

The chosen Aspirant was led from a room of corpses, the corpses of his fellow aspirants who had selected him as the most suitable amongst them and willingly died to give him this opportunity, by the Astartes and into the Necropolis. There to take their oath and be entered into one of the sarchopgi present. They would spend the next two years floating in those wonders of science as their geneseed was implanted, and while their bodies were being rebuilt their minds would be with their liege watching the battles of their fellow Death Dealers and learning the arts of war from those masters of the art.

It was only after they were interred that their fellow Aspirants were given the antidote to the substance that they had drank, to be then sent to the ranks of the Imperial Army or Navy as officers; their minds bound to never share the secrets that they had learned in the Hades system.

----
Hades System
----
The fortress system of the Death Dealers, it has nine planets. Elysium is a garden world and the home of the Legions headquarters. Vhan is a Mechanicum Forge World dedicated to keeping the XII supplied. The other seven planets and eight moons in the system are dedicated hostile environment training grounds. Several of them have been deliberately seeded with orks for live fire training.

In the Futurama comics, Leela has stood in for Mom and proven herself a capable, ruthless businesswoman: Much like Mom herself. So it leads me to a rather twisted idea: Mom decides Leela is the ideal future daughter in law, and makes her three sons compete to try and win her heart. This would be easier in a timeline where Fry got together with Amy or she and Fry were still doing the off and on thing.

Doesn’t that make Leela into Professor Farnsworth’s daughter-in-law? If the one who’s his illegitimate son wins or has a chance to win

Kinda off topic, but I somehow feel that much of the old Pulp Fiction(NOT THE MOVIE)is something not many people even know to have of existed, or just know “of it” than actually read the old stuff and make sort of parodies of these things as they only know other parodies of the stuff

Those old stories and their pics and art work are both simple and sorta obvious on what’s going on and NARM-y, it’s understandable how easy it all is to make fun of

Also, D. Gray-Man X Dresden Files

Allen Walker while using the Ark to escape the Black Order ends up in Dresdenverse’s Chicago, he proceeds to kill some Fomor but find that somehow, the Sword of Exorcism does NOT hurt or kill Servitors as they are really human to begin with

Shocked that he’s more than a century into the future and in the USA, he decides to try gambling his way to survival

The 14th/Neah is very much confused as to where the hell he is

Allen ends up staying at The Carpenters’ place after rescuing the kids from an attempted Fomor kidnapping, the rate he eats is surprising

A fight with the Fomor ensues and he helps and shocks everyone when he “kills Corb”

Specifically, he “kills” the “Corb” within the one holding his Mantle whilst declaring he’ll save them all

The fact that he can “kill” the Mantle or at the very least seperate it from the Host scares people badly and makes him an enemy of various people

Somehow he discovers he can use The Ark, which results in The Noah Family finding their way into the Dresdenverse

Fullmetal Alchemist: The Martian War
(Fullmetal Alchemist/ War of the Worlds)

This is actually an idea I'm working on at the moment that's been sitting in the back of my mind for almost a year now. So any help or ideas would be appreciated. Particularly on the FMA side, as I'm still trying to get a grasp on certain characters or how people would react in certain situations. Speaking of which, while I will be using Brotherhood/manga universe, I will be drawing on some of the themes of the first anime, along with some character arc ideas. Mostly related to the Elric Brother's idealism being tested harder then in Brotherhood/the manga and to question if the Law of Equivalent Exchange really does apply to everything.

The Story:
Without going too much into detail, around the time Ed and Al travel to Dublith to see their teacher Izumi (episode 12-13 of Brotherhood), the world of Fullmetal Alchemist is on the receiving end of certain visitors for the planet Mars.

maxresdefault.jpg

These Martians are the ones in the original novel by HG Wells, but with certain technological upgrades to account for the difference in setting between the War of the World's 1890's Earth and Fullmetal Alchemist's quasi 1930s-40s setting. No energy shields, just some better armor and the like. Alongside a wider selection of vehicles for the Martians.

Due to an unknown reason the Martian's can't use alchemy or alchestry. This is both for the sake of keeping things somewhat balanced and to create contrast between them and the various FMA factions. Plus, I always do like a good old 'magic' vs technology war.
  • Speaking of which: the Martians doesn't exactly know about Alchemy/Alchestry at first. Although they would have been able to spot some things during their observation of the FMA world; mostly large usages of it, like Armstrong's wall in the Ishvalan War of Extermination or seen damage caused by Alchemists on a large scale being quickly repaired. So they probably do know something is going on, just not exactly what and how.

On the subject of those pesky germs, I'm heavily leaning towards having them be a factor in this story. However, they don't wipe the Martians out entirely, just cause a large loss of life that slows down the Martian advance at a critical point. This in turn allows the human factions time to regroup and reorganize while the Martians rebuild their forces and work on a cure. This also parallels the issues that real-life Empires in our world had in place like South America and Africa. Which in turn lets me further play with Wells' colonial allegory for the Martians that gets lost in most adaptations.

The Invasion:
Like in the book, the Martians have very good observational equipment; I'd say they can see whats going on as well as real-life early cold war spy-planes and satellites. So, besides knowing the location of various cities and bases the Martians got a pretty good idea about the locations of the various nations and their squabbles between themselves.

Now, in the original novel, the Martians arrive on Earth via giant capsules called 'cylinders', which were launched from mars via what amounts to a giant, high-tech cannon. The Martians launched one cylinder per day, with only ten cylinders launched in total.

Even with the tech-upgrade I’ve given them, the technological gap between the Martians and factions of the FMA setting is much smaller then the one between the Martians and 1860's England. Additionally, unlike in the novel, the Martians don't have a nice convenient island to land on, take over, then fortify against counter-attack. So the Martians would logically adapt their plans. Thus, instead of only one launcher, the Martians have ten and will be launching a total of 100 cylinders in their inital wave. Half of these will land in Xing, while the other half will land in Amestris.
  • Why Amestris? Its one of the most advanced and powerful nations within the setting. So taking it out removes a threat to the Martians. Also, the Martians would have seen that Amestris has made enemies of just about everyone around them; so Amestris has no one to call on to support them- at least not at first- and will have to divide it's forces against it's vengeful neighbors, who might take this moment to avenge past defeats. Even if that doesn't actually happen, its a factor the Amestrisian government and military will have to guard against. And by the time the other governments understand the scale of the Martian threat, they'll have invasions on their own soil to worry about.

Also, Amestris is the most fleshed out nation in the setting and the one the story is based in. Meaning I don't have to do a whole lot of world building or come up with some sort of explanation as to how the main FMA characters end up in this other country.
Additionally, the first two volleys of cylinders- which will be lunched at Xing and Amestris will have four cylinders each that won't carry any invasion forces at all. Instead, they'll be used for kinetic bombardment. Which will destroy their targets as surely as if the martians had dropped a nuclear warhead on them; except without all that radiation and using only basic physics.

FOR XING: first to be hit would be the capital city, as well as either significant fortifications or cities. This should help kick civil war off, further dividing the squabbling nation, as well as depriving them of their leadership and weakening them for the Martian forces.

FOR AMESTRIS: I've got a bit more to work with here, so I can be more specific.
  • 1 Central City: administration and military heart of the country. Primary Target.
    • Centrals' destruction will heavily retard Amestris's ability to coordinate against the invading Martians and the chaos of war.
  • 2 Fort Briggs: Heavy fortification; clear research and development center for military. Stronghold that could be retreated to and used as a rallying point for resistance.
    • Additionally, under idea circumstances for the Martians, it's destruction, on top of the initial news of chaos in Amestris will prompt an invasion by Drachma; as Fort Briggs has long prevented Drachma from invading Amestris.
    • In short, the Martians plan to divide and conquer, splitting the forces arrayed against them in Amestris in two.
      • This sort of parallels real-life tactics used by various Great Powers by supplying weapons or support to various tribes or factions to weaken resistance against colonial ambitions.
    • That said, I’m willing to throw the FMA forces a bone and have at least a few of the new Brigg’s tanks be elsewhere when Briggs was destroyed- with the idea being that they were sent out to be tested in various environments.
  • 3 East City: given it's one of the main military stronghold closest to the Martian's inital landing zone, this is a no-brainer. Unfortunately for them, this bombardment cylinder suffers a malfunction, causing it to miss it's target.

  • 4 West City: even if the Martians are unaware that Western military forces are adept in guerrilla warfare, which is a definite threat, the fact that it has 'an impressive number of troops' would make it a priority target. It'll also help further divide the Amestris forces, who will now have to fight from a weakened position against the nation of Creta.
The remaining 12 cylinders of the first and second volley- 6 in Xing, 6 in Amestris- will land in the country side. Thus discouraging any investigation due to distance, people not wanting to poke around something that might prove dangerous and people having higher priories on hand. Be it either helping with disaster relief or keeping the social order intact from anarchy or invasion from nearby nations. This will give the Martians time to get out of their cylinders with minimal interference.

In Amestris, they will land in the south-eastern portion of the eastern providence- they have the nearly impassible desert at their back and will have some distance between them and the eastern and southern commands. Meaning any forces set against them will take time to arrive and have a longer supply line; which the Martians, with their warmachines, can then cut.

In Xing, the Martians will land in the Western part, almost opposite of their forces in Amestris. Again, they have the desert at their backs and the two forces can reinforce each other via the desert, which is nothing compared to Mars’ environment. Also, should one force look like it's going to be overrun, they can pull back across the desert and link up with the other invasion force.
  • Why not just bombard everything? Numerous reasons: because the Martians would have a much harder time tracking down and corralling survivors if all the cites have been smashed. Plus, there's also the Martian's...feeding habits...to consider. No sense in killing off all the food stock. Plus, throw enough orbital bombardment around and it starts messing up the climate, which goes back the food point and the fact that the Martians don't want to smash up their new world too badly.

The destruction of Central City will result in the annihilation or at the very least, cause extreme damage to Father and the Homunculi's base of operations and the equipment contained within. There's a fair chance the bombardment will kill some of the Homunculi. Those it won't kill will be buried alive under tons of rubble. True, they might be able to dig themselves out, but it'll take time.
  • The amount of death and destruction caused by the kinetic bombardment will-at least based on my knowledge of it- mess up Father's Nationwide Transmutation Circle. Not to mention the impact will disrupt Sloth's tunneling efforts, much to his dismay. There's also the subsequent violence caused by the Martians, which will only screw up the circle further.
What makes this hilarious is that the Martians have no idea of Father's existence or his plans. Meaning they just took a baseball bat to decades, if not hundreds of years, worth of planning entirely by accident.

None that were really any good.

If Magnus doesn't fuck up the webway then there will be a massive IoM/Eldar war as humanity goes all "cleanse, purge, kill" throughout said webway; but that isn't going to be a truly major war as the Eldar simply lack the numbers (or raw power) to contest an actively hostile IoM; especially an IoM still lead by the Primarchs and with the Legions intact.

If Lorgar could have been convinced to spread the Imperial Truth instead of Lorgars Fee-Fee'sTM then you probably end up with an Imperium that is actually hard core idelogically committed to the Imperial Truth and the Imperium, which really fucks Chaos going forward. More, no fall of Lorgar means no Erebus establishing the Warrior Lodges or stealing the Anathema. How Horus's antics with the Interax play out outside that issue could be interesting. He is, as Warmaster, officially recognizing xenos as representatives and holding diplomatic talks with him; without the Theft he may well be successful in those talks. That alone would cause an interesting response, now add in the fact that the Interax are Chaos Aware while the Emperor very much wants that information kept private.

So the Emperor learns about Horus's treaty with the Interax when Horus is going all "Daddy, Daddy! Look at what I did. Isn't it great?". And what the Emperor sees is his son consorting with xenos in a non lethal manner (verboten), who are aware of Chaos (maximum verboten), and a primarch learning about the Great Lie that is the Imperial Truth (potentially maximum heresy). What happens when the Emperor sends, say, Angron or Russ with orders to put every Interax world to the torch and kill them all while stripping Horus of the Warmaster title and calling him back to Terra for a most severe spanking? Especially if he sends Malcador with the message?

And what happens when it is time for Magnus to take his place on the Golden Throne? Is the Emperor willing to actually put him there when he has doubts about Magnus's loyalty? Or fears that he is tainted by Chaos already (as he is)?

Fulgrim still probably falls, the Laer sword manages that quite nicely.

So imagine a situation where the Emperor gets the Webway mostly stabilized and starts paying attention to the galaxy at large again, only to find that Horus has proved himself unsuitable for the title of Warmaster in a most spectacular manner. So the Emperor chastises him, probably while calling Dorn or Peterabo back to terra to fortify the webway portal and tasking Khan with mapping it. Except the chastisement of Horus is liable to be much more extreme than would be expected for the official offense (consorting with xenos).

Then the Emperor finds that the Thousand Sons have ignored his edict at Nikaea even as it is about time for Magnus to take up his role on the Throne. He might still have some need for Magnus but he doesn't have one for the Thousand Sons; so that is another purging; and one around about the same time as Horus has been stripped of his title and punished.

All the while, Fulgrim is being possessed by a Greater Daemon.

Luther is still building up his own rebellion on Caliban, so the Lion is going to go purge that and may well still end up in his coma.

What does Sanguinius do in response to seeing Horus fall from grace, Lion going missing under mysterious circumstances, and the Thousand Sons being purged? He already has his own fears about the flaws in his geneseed and he was closest to Horus. Does his loyalty waver?

Angron is going to die from the Butchers Nails relatively soon, and are the rest of the Primarchs going to see it as the Emperor truly being unable to save him or instead just taking the opportunity presented to purge the most violent of his sons and weed out another Primarch?

Begin plotting in the background. The GC was something of this needs to happen or we are fucked from the Emp's perspective.

Manipulates and/or hires Harry Dresden and other figures in the supernatural community

Whilst on occasion, stepping into say, the Fomor’s home base and shooting them with a gun from many millenia from the future

Say, what would the Emperor do if he found himself in the Dresdenverse at fullpower?
Become the greatest wizard who ever lived and do pretty much whatever he wants. Considering that he had no problems hanging out in the background for tens of thousands of years quietly manipulating events and learning, he is highly unlikely to make the kind of splash that a primarch would make.

Probably becomes The Merlin eventually and then starts guiding the human faction of the supernatural. Likely also manipulates things to end Christianity, Islam, and Judaism as the reason that the Great White God is so powerful is the belief in his power and the Emperor would consider that entity just as anathema to humanity as the Chaos Gods. Considering the time scales involved, his power, his ruthlessness, and his charisma he probably succeeds.

Any “politics” with the rest of the Unseelie Accords’ leadership? Also, kinda funny, but until Marcone came, the White Council were the only mortals in there(Venatori aside)and now The Merlin would be someone they may question to even be human

The Emperor managed to survive undetected for tens of thousands of years against all manner of technologies, and is noted to be an extremely advanced biotinektic in addition to his extreme command of his own soul (which is what a psyker does).

The odds of anyone seeing his as anything non human without him desiring that outcome are at or near zero. His infamous visage is a deliberate choice on his part, not something that he must wear.

Yeah, though, what happens if they are aware of him?

Do they end up suspecting he’s an Outsider or made deals for said power level?
