peter Zeihan 2020

Peter explains how tropical environs get screwed over when it comes to agriculture without snow, forcing them to rely on fertilizers:

Peter gives a babby's first explanation of how Intel faceplanted against AMD, including how they passed on manufacturing tech, but might get the newest manufacturing tech running first:

Also, another video of Peter drinking the mainstream media koolaid is out there.

The problem with Zeihan is that he's only as good as his information and he even admits that americas media is garbage at its job so you cant trust him on anything domestic.
You can't trust him on anything foreign either so not sure what he's good at tbh.

Mostly he's just good at pointing out that the current status quo will inevitably change, that the world is running out of young people, and that America is a big country with way more resources than any other country.

He's full of crap. India and southern China dont get snow and they have supported their enormous populations since ancient times because weather and climate allow paddy agriculture to produce multiple crops a year.

India and southern China have had enormous famines and issues with locusts since ancient times too.

Also these are utterly massive countries and the geography changes based on where you are.

Of course. But they also have immensely productive agricultural zones that enebaled them to support vast populations

In pre columbian times the three regions of the world with the largest populations were china, india and western europe. Not surprisingly, the three regions of the old world with the best conditions for growing crops were india, china and western europe

Britain didn't do the full post-Empire economic transition, islands don't like continental powers, the Brits still haven't hooked up with a new empire equivalent or a single nation with the same security concerns, and the Brits are salty over having to accede to US trade demands and becoming second fiddle to the US:

As we should be.

I do not recognise the President of the United States as superior to the King of England, and I do not recognise American authority to dictate to us.

Were it down to me we’d have no need of you.
That's hilarious coming from a nation that wants to force people to have a license just for regular cooking knives if they have a point on them, that needed US Lend-Lease aid for so long rationing didn't stop till the 70's for Brits, that has cops going after people for 'mean' or 'hateful' tweets, and that cannot even feed itself with it's own lands.

Not to mention the US is the thing keeping the UK relevant as a world power; you Brit's don't even have your own nukes, you rent ICBM's/SLBM's from us.

The President of the US has more power at their command than the English King, and no amount of Brit pride will change that.

Also, the US forced the Good Friday Agreement, otherwise the Trouble's would still be going on, and there are a lot of people in the US more sympathetic to the Irish than to the Brits in that conflict.

I wish Brits the very best of luck.

I genuinely like them and am horrified at what has been done to them and their country.

That being said being attached to America is not their biggest problem right now.

The insane leftists taking over everything and the natives being pushed out by immigrants is.

That’s the goal.

Leeching off the US forever is not what I voted Brexit for. And I’m sick of my government aspiring for little more than being an American vassal.

Your choices at this point are American Vassal, Brussels vassal or depression.

Though the last one would get rid of all of the refugee groups that are currently wreaking things for your country so that might be your best option, just don't be an idiot and let them back once you fixed your shit.

The UK has no option but US vassal, EU vassal, or irrelevance.

Your country cannot feed itself, cannot make it's own nukes, and barely have much of an economic engine to run on without overseas trade or banking institutions.

The British Empire is dead, it killed itself in the aftermath of WW2, and the British people only have a choice of who's vassal they want to be.

Bugger off, yank.
That's what we told the British in 1776, and since then the UK has only lost territory.

Heck, let's find a list of places that have independence days from the UK.

The British Empire is dead, most of the world is happy that it is, and the US is the bigger power now, the one that the UK is vassal too in most ways that matter.

Deal with it.
