Once again their motivation isn't security.

Ok this is the political triangle.

There are three core values that people have Liberty, Equality, and Faternity.

Of Freedom, equality and stability.

These three core values are inherently by their nature at odds.

They are not motivated by security, or stability, they are motivated by equality.

They will gladly sacerfice both freedom and stability to achieve their ends. Hence why the places with that mind set in command tend to be total shit shows.

They aren't all motivated by the same thing. They're human there will be varation. Also you really shouldn't put to much stock in things like "political triangles." Humans are more complex than 3 points.

I think there's a thing called "Intersectionalism" and as I finished reading Chris Voss' 'Never Split The Difference"

Even those people going on about "equality" may have ulterior motives or hidden reasons behind them advocating something
