And shoes was a repeat item on that list.

You can say stuff are "needs" depending on how much you "reason" it as being something that makes life better or easier

I wish to see them replaced by newer and cheaper alternatives

Mostly because my pessimism has it that they’ll still be infested by the monsters that ruined it when/if it is taken over by someone else with the goal of actually bringing in money and being famous and successful

There's such a thing as reforms and depending on whoever's now in-charge, changes can occur.....like having a scary angry perfectionist editor-in-chief who at LEAST wants basic hygiene practiced
