I thought this was a parody at first glance.

Then I discovered it was real (since taken down for obvious reasons). But as you all know, the internet doesn't forget.

I will make sure to laugh as much as I can then.

Wait, is that from just the ships? Considering the fact that they're visible from orbit, I'd assumed that instead of processing the waste in facilities like what happens in the west, they were just collecting the waste from their cities and then dumping it out into the ocean. The articles I read didn't specify that they were only from the ships.

Also, the algae blooms aren't actually visible from orbit; they're only "visible" to Simularity's AI software analytics. The accuracy of that method -- and how much of that model is actually image analysis as opposed to model projection -- is fairly dubious.

How to tell you have unwittingly been drawn into the home of a far-right extremist:

A... are you certain this is meant seriously? The language in it reads like a parody. Really obvious parody.

Yeah, the charge is ridiculous, but I'm a fan of petards so she can suck the minor inconvenience until her buddy on the bench dismisses the case for accidentally being applied to a patrician.
As noted in a later post, it wouldn't surprise me if it actually was a hoax article but unfortunately it reads as very plausible with how SJWs think.

[Edit]

A thirty one year old Colorado man was arrested for suspicion of attempting to steal a jet that he would fly to Hawaii allegedly. According to the Douglas County Sheriffs Office:

"This note is based on an actual incident (this week) where a suspect male breached the secure perimeter to the runway at Centennial Airport in an attempt to steal a jet and fly to Hawaii. We've all been at the point where we needed a vacation, but this took it a little far... note to self... video games are not real... stealing a jet will not go well."

This has happened before, such as a case in Arkansas in 2019 where a man attempted to steal a jet so he could fly it to Chicago to attend a music concert. That epic gamer move was halted before it could be performed as well.

Wait, he breached Centennial's flightline to try to steal a plane?

Well, got to give him kudos for effort.

Though given the way that airport is arranged, and where it is located, I'm not sure how he expected to not get caught on the ground, or shot down by 16's from Buckley if he got off the ground.

There was another similar case that ended in tragedy in 2018.

I could easily see Trump not being on the ballot helping. He's not popular outside of republicans.

That's....sorta true. Trump gained a HUGE, of if you prefer, "Uge!", number of votes from people who never voted prior to this election, or had been away from politics for a long time. Those weren't registered Republicans. They were conservatives who identified with what Trump said, and wanted to see the direction of the country change.

IIRC, something like 30-40% of the people who attended Trump rallies and registered to vote as a result were people that haven't voted in over a decade, if at all.

Yet he made the AMISH vote for him.

The freaking AMISH voted for him.

Can you explain that?
Conservatives then. Still, the problem is he is very polarizing, and it's hard to be 'eh' on him. This results in giving votes away to the other side. The problem with getting Amish votes is they aren't as useful as moderates. A moderate vote is one vote from your opponent and one vote for you, closing/lengthing any gap by 2. A vote for you vs staying home is just one vote.
