Sorry forgot your a catholic.

They're heresies even from the Protestant point of view, as much as such an amorphous thing as Protestantism can have heresies. But saying that there is a way to Father that goes not through the Son would negate the necessity Christianity; the incarnation, the crucifixion, and the resurrection all in one fell swoop.

Who creates the narrative by which our society makes moral judgements?

... The progressive elites and academics, same ones that also deny that Israel should exist as an ethno-state?

Certainly not Israel, for crying the fuck loud.

Israelis think Europeans are morons for allowing millions of Muslim refugees to rampage their way through the continent.

Also, Japan's temporary pass on forced diversity is currently expiring.

Suuuuuure.

I guess I don't get what you are saying. I think we are in agreement but what does that have to do with me not getting people's obsession over Israel?

Because Jews have more reasons to fear extermination than white people?

Why does that matter in terms of justifying ethnicity based nation-states?

How can ethnonationalism be good for Jews but bad for everyone else?

If something is good, surely it is good for everyone, no?

All of human history kind of contradicts that though. Nations have had to deal with threat of extermination since time in memorial some of them not even pure ethnostates.

History pretty much shows people in general treat each other like crap.

Which people? Different groups have different reasons to be concerned about it. I was trying to point out that the stereotypical ugly American that is more concerned about the safety of Israel than his own country stems from a particular heresy that is endemic in American protestant churches; namely that the establishment of the State of Israel is required to bring about the Eschaton and the Second Coming.

I am not aware that any Jews are claiming that ethnonationalism should be reserved solely for Israel. The progressive ones tend to disavow Israel, the conservative ones tend to accept ethnonationalism in other countries too. I never heard a conservative Jew advocate multiculturalism in any nation.

Just guessing here from what I've seen in Croatia, but I'd say it is less a problem with Israel as such, and more with how certain prominent advocates of "nationalism is Nazism" are Jews, and - perhaps more importantly - always use Jewish casualties in World War II to support their position. In Croatia, we have Ivo and Slavko Goldstein, who not only accuse anyone who attacks Communism as being Nazis, but also deny the existence of post-war camp in Jasenovac (concentration camp there was active until late 1947. / early 1948.). And the fact that they always play the "Holocaust" and "Jewish victim" cards means that Jews as such get a bad rep, simply by proxy.

Honestly, such prominent "antifascist" "crusaders" are likely the worst thing for Jews, PR-wise, despite the fact that they actually have no connection to what Jews as such think. Kinda like how most of the Left hates white people for colonialism, despite the fact that most of the white countries were victims of colonialism (such as the entirety of Central Europe and Balkans).

Ah I think I got you your referring to the whole "America will be blessed through Israel" false doctrine?

I am well aware that there are many prominent Jews in the front lines of progressive organizations around the world. This was also the case during the 1917 Soviet revolution.

I believe it generally has to do with the Jewish cultural tendency to prosper economically, therefore paving their way into the economic elites of many countries. And elites and rich kids of all ethnicities and religions tend to be more receptive to progressive and Marxist ideas. That's how Jews end up over-represented in these circles.

I've never seen a convincing argument that Judaism and progressivism are genuinely tied together somehow. Hell, I don't think I ever saw any convincing evidence that Jews are a cohesive driving force behind these ideas, beyond being over-represented in their ranks. Any such argument would invariably lean on bullshit neo-Nazi claims, "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" style.
