Musk actually buys Twitter.

I see Musk as a snakeoil salesman and cult leader that pushes crap and grifts on government.

I do not like him, I will never do.

But damn it, that African American delivered lots and lots of salt.

I am really, really starting to think about coughing 8 bucks for him.

He has given us so much lulz it is incredible, even I, a miserly eastern european that hates paying for anything wants to consider throwing him sheckels.

Twitter Employees Find Elon Musk Quite Sickening Apparently.

New York Post said:
One widely-shared message on Slack indicated as many as 3,738 workers could be laid off. Employees immediately began saying their goodbyes and exchanging information, The Times reported.

“One engineering manager was approached by Mr. Musk’s advisers — or ‘goons,’ as Twitter employees called them — with a list of hundreds of people he had to let go. He vomited into a trash can near his feet,” The Times wrote.

To keep the company running on fumes, Musk told employees “Those who are able to go hard core and play to win, Twitter is a good place,” according to The Times. “And those who are not, totally understand, but then Twitter is not for you.”

He wouldn't of vomited if he valued all that free food in their chef staffed cafeteria. Never learned the value of wasting good food.

It's getting worse.

Those who remain will no longer get free lunches at work... Vomited too soon it seems

He's STARVING the rest of his workforce!!! The only meal they apparently get all day is the free lunch at work, prepared by professional chefs... with wine on tap.

I work at a arcade with a bar and grill the best I get is a discount. (Which is par for the course) for these kids I'ma play the world's smallest violin. 🎻🎻🎻

Edit: people have paid for my meal's before but that's not standard issue.

Twitter children being shown what real work is supposed to look like.

It's insane how entitled they are.

I don't think it's entitled -- benefits like discounted/free food on campus are basically an indirect part of your pay package just like health benefits are, it's something people factor in when accepting a job. Most tech companies go *really* heavy on such benefits because while competing to attract the best talent, they realized that many employees value such benefits very strongly, to the point where the company comes out *way* ahead in attracting employees via quality-of-life benefits versus a "pure pay" setup.

Except this is a job, not a college campus. And even then, people like me had to pay for our meals with money.

Is there some rule you imagine that jobs *can't* provide quality of life anemities as part of what draws people to work there? Keep in mind that the big tech workplaces *are* large campuses on par with any college, and that these are not things provided out of "charity", but cold-blooded calculation that they're able to attract and retain better talent, push them harder, and get more out of them by providing such.

While this might be true most of the workers at Twitter suck and I do mean really suck their loss only makes the company better

Not really outside of sick days, maybe medical support or whatever if you meet the qualifications. It’s a job, you go there to work and earn money.

I'd rather get paid more than have "free" food provided by the company, because then I am sure I will be getting food I like and will for sure eat. Plus, just on general principal.

Also, you have to keep in mind that "working" at Twitter probably looked like those videos made by a woman who "worked" at Linkdin.
