I find it darkly amusing that Leftards' attempts at being anti-racist have resulted in them being racist and discriminatory intersectionists: the sad thing is that they can't even see it.
Oh, I guarantee you they see it - all the noises they make about not seeing it are just gas-lighting.
But they see it and like it, because they are not actually interested in equality or "justice" in even the warped definition they claim, they just want to move the groups around on the totem pole so that they are on top and doing the oppressing in order to live out a revenge fantasy.
Fairy tales that the feminists believe.
This just illustrates the odd fairy-tale version of Natives that leftists seem to believe in, at least whenever they're reminded that Natives even exist, for that matter. From what I see, we mainly exist to them as an excuse for whatever viewpoint they have on anything, whether it's a true example or entirely fabricated. An example I'll give is how iconic Sacajawea is, yet basically everyone seems to have forgotten that she was not part of the Lewis and Clark Expedition of her own free will, nor was she married to that French trader of her own free will. She was still a teenager at the time, and she was only "married" in the sense that that trader purchased her with the intent of "marrying" her, as it happens along with another girl like her, which is to say a girl who was kidnapped from another tribe and kept as a slave. Keep in mind, that was the Hidatsa that did that to her - one of the friendlier tribes when it came to white folks,
Oh, so as it happens, I've just shown an example of rape that occurred before white folks wandered into the area.
Apparently Mr. PotatoHead as a brand has reverted to being a gender neutral naming convention though the individual toys will still be gendered.
Mr. Potato Head, the classic Hasbro toy brand which includes the mustachioed Mr. Potato Head and clean-shaven Mrs. Potato Head, will soon be rebranded as the gender-neutral "Potato Head" toy line.

I was wondering what was bothering me when I woke up this morning but after reading this, I feel a lot better and more enriched today.
I actually don't care about teams having to change their names and logos as I never found the arguments for having them to be all that compelling. I'll agree that all the others are pretty stupid, though. The Land O'Lakes change was literally over one complaint from someone who wasn't even Native. And it opened them up to the perfect comeback: "Figures, they kept the land and got rid of the Native." Also the Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben decisions are really insulting when one is aware of the actual history there, but we are talking about an ideology that makes a point of ignoring history.
