Long story short, Bret Stephens, a moderate establishment (or right of center or even 'NeoConservative perhaps) Republican whose generally critical of Trump and is one of the sole voices of vaguely Conservative or Right Wing ideas on the New York Times commentary/editorial board wrote an article titled "The Secrets of Jewish Genius" which led to an uproar back on social media over Bret Stephens being a White Supremacist (he's the son of Secular Jews and former Editor of the Jerusalem Post) to being a Eugenicist (he cites a 2005 paper published in the Journal of Biomedical Sciences which apparently had one of the three authors supposedly affiliated or praised by White Supremacist groups) but rejects their findings of genetic superiority and instead advocates cultural aspects of this subsection of Jewish culture.

Regardless... the original article has been purged from the internet, even from rehosts done by other papers which carried his column. Redo's and re-edits were done without Bret Stephens apparent knowledge and the New York Times has subverted their so-called newspaper of record by rewriting history and cowing to an outraged mob which loathes anything remotely right wing or conservative in any mainstream publication a sidestep to the right from Fox News (Ross Douthat and David Brooks are still NYT columnists of course and just as loathed).

This reminds me of on how on TvTropes, it was mentioned that Trump was saying to a Jewish-American Politician to his face or nearby of how he thinks Jews are great lawyers, bankers & businessmen.....TvTropes then outright admitted that Trump thought those were all GOOD THINGS and were aghast at how he thought they were positive traits
