I'm actually surprised they pulled the plug this quickly. I figured if they were committed enough to such an obvious doomed idea to the point they actually went through with it, they would at least give it a year or two before declaring failure.

WarnerMedia got assimilated by Discovery last year, IIRC, this project was probably in the works before that, and got axed in short order because the Discovery CEO doesn't take shit from no one.
