This is starting to remind me of 2016, when every week started with ''this is the end of Trump''. Media still has a stranglehold on much of the population, there will be a massive voter fraud and don't forget that in general, people are irrational beings, guided not by facts and logic but by emotion, with media conditioning the on emotional level that Trump is bad, so they will vote against Trump no matter how cringe their side is.
It's going to be even uglier before the last electoral vote is tallied.

Only six Republican Senators voted against the bill, against over twenty Democratic Senators.

Thirty four Republican Reps voted against it, compared to almost one hundred Democrats.

It was Republican Senators Kuchel and Minoroty Leader Everett Dirksen who constantly supported the Civil Rights Acts passage.

It was Richard Nixon who supported the Civil Rights Act of 1957 which established the Civil Rights Division for the Justice Department. It would've pushed school and voting desegregation if not for Democratic opposition at the time. He was Vice President when Eisenhower integrates the Armed Forces, the federal bureaucracy, appointed more Black people in the Courts and Justice Department and used federal troops to enforce the Supreme Courts decision regarding Brown v. Board of Education.
