the new joker movie was actually pretty decent it was hard to watch at times because he went for a realistic depiction of how mental illness affects people but remove the joker thing and you have an oscer bait moive.

Also I think the left hates it because the jokers minions are basically antifa.

I've heard a good argument about Joker and how it presented an ugly reflection for the media and how the media portrays people. The movie doesn't do anything to portray the Joker as in the right but even a small tinge of sympathy they have for someone like the Joker which leads to questioning how much does of a part does society play in the making of a mad person is anathema to their views.

I'll just point out Joker did SOMETHING right. It cost between $55-60 million. It's now over a Billion in sales.

Take that in. This movie is the single-largest PROFIT margin any comic-book movie. Yes, that includes Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. They grossed more sales, but the cost of the movie + advertising ate into the Profit Margin. Joker is still gaining revenue, so Total Profit might break $1 billion dollars.

As an example, Endgame made $2.2 Billion, but had $1.5 Billion in costs. $700 million in profit, nice right? Joker just made a fool of them.

Haven’t watched the Joker admittedly, I don’t watch Live Action anymore really

But gotta say, I think yeah, this whole “Incel” or “Single White Male who goes evil” and starts shooting stuff up as I think they conflate all said “Incels” with “School Shooter” types sorta ignores how the supposed “Incel” isn’t just a jerk because he is one

He too has problems that society won’t help or inadvertantly causes and maybe even blames on him and dumps on him because he’s the “oppressor” instead of one of the many “underdogs” they love
