Let's talk about the current state of Black Lives Matter

"Black Lives Matter" as a concept has simply become too tainted by violence to mean what it was originally intended to mean anymore, if it ever did. Now it's just "Any Time A Black Person Dies, We Are Going To Lash Out At Everyone And Everything Around Us Until We Get Bored", and it aggravates me to no end that useful idiots still think otherwise. Lives are being destroyed under this banner, and they outright refuse to believe it.

I was watching a recording of one of Protonjon's recent livestreams, and he goes off for a bit on someone in chat who says "All Lives Matter". To his credit, he does drop the subject quickly and goes back to playing video games, but in that moment I just wanted to slap the stupid out of him. Yes, the black community does have a raw deal; and yes, there are still racists out there giving them a bad time. However; "Black Lives Matter" is a message of hate and division that does not mean what he thinks it means, pure and simple. And unless he can recognize that, he really has no business criticizing someone for saying "All Lives Matter".

BLM should labeled a terrorist organization along Antifa in my opinion.

I agree, but unfortunately, there's a lot of people who want to believe the propaganda; that BLM is a legitimate movement fighting for the black community. That the entire country is treating blacks as if their lives don't matter. Well I'm sorry, but things are a bit more complex than that. For one thing; nobody's life matters unless their death attracts media attention, and black people get a lot of it, so long as the blame can be pinned on a white guy (or a Hispanic guy they end up calling white).

Black people are not special, they are not being uniquely oppressed, and we need to stop acting as if they are. This is no racist conspiracy against blacks, no matter how frequently the regressive left insists there is; except for the "benevolent" one the regressive left itself perpetuates against them, by trying to convince them that white people are their enemy.

Ironically the Left are the real racists with how much they act like they own blacks all the time.

Just as important by rioting they are making the case for people who argue the brutality is needed, in effect it is completely counterproductive.

"All lives can’t truly matter until we all acknowledge that Black Lives Matter."

That's a response I got to posting "All Lives Matter" in the comments of Protonjon's Youtube upload. These people truly are delusional, if they think a significant number of people believe black lives in particular don't matter. They don't understand the implicit implication in "Black Lives Matter" is that only black lives matter; everyone else can just die, for all the movement cares.

Useful idiots, the lot of them. I'm reminded of a story, told by a white guy who used to support groups like the Black Panthers in the sixties; he only stopped believing in the cause after they tried to kill him because he was white. These people don't understand the movement they're supporting, and they won't until it turns on them; perhaps not even then.

I wouldn't necessarily say that BLM is associated with rioting and violence, at least not as far as I know. Certain the present rioting doesn't seem to be there doing, even media sources that are hostile to the riots aren't pinning the blame on them.

What I will say is that more so than an image problem, BLM has a message problem. I rarely see clear policy proposals or suggestions made to address the issues they formed to address, it's either extremely vague "make the cops do better" type stuff, or ridiculously overbroad, sweeping reforms calling for everything from new school curriculums to reparations.

Honestly, it sounds like they’re still too used to the system

Why not, “No cops altogether, we’ll deal with crime in our own neighborhoods” and “Fuck Public School and Fuck Private School, my kids are gonna be learning from the internet and going through Trade School”

There ya go, less intervention from EVIL white people via disengaging on both sides

BLM isn't associated with rioting and violence, because people are too afraid of being called racist to do so. In my mind though, to not do so is nothing short of intellectual cowardice; BLM is a violent movement at its core, and I don't think BLM ever had a concrete plan, outside of lashing out whenever a black person died at the hands of a white person.

To be fair, there are people who truly believe in the propaganda of Black Lives Matter, and only used peaceful means to try and achieve some lasting positive change in society; but the same can be said of some who support Communism, and that does not change the destructive nature of what they're ultimately supporting.

Ok, so from that I'd assume you beleive BLM is behind the present rioting, then?

What evidence do you have to show that?

How do you prove that someone is a member of the Black Lives Matter movement? Many of the rioters claim membership, as do supporters of the riots. Even if you can prove that, how does that translate into the movement itself being responsible? This is the issue of dealing with a decentralized movement; plausible deniability. I cannot prove that BLM is behind the currently ongoing riots; if anything, more evidence suggests that Antifa is behind it, in terms of having a cohesive plan. What I can say is that violent individuals, and those who support violence, are associating themselves with the movement; and this is not a new thing for the BLM movement.

Ultimately, it is my opinion that BLM is at least partially responsible for the riots, and I base this on my understanding of the history behind the movement, as well as a preponderance of circumstantial evidence present on social media.

This is what caused the problems of the black community the destruction of the black family.

The 'great society' had a clause that benifited single mothers over intact families and social workers then decided to work enmass to remove fathers whenever possible because of their self righteous bullshit. This is what caused the explosion of gangs and destroyed intergenerational wealth with in the black community and caused a host of other problems.

The only way to fix the problem is to restore the place of black fathers and give them back the authority and respect they deserve.

I mean Jim Crow ended nearly sixty years ago, and slavery nearly 160.

The black population eventually has to pull itself up. Or it can continue to be a source of friction and unrest.

Frankly I have little sympathy for it.

I'm noticing more and more people on Youtube mindlessly repeating "all lives can't matter until Black Lives Matter" and directing their audience to donate to the organization; not that I expect some random video game reviewer on Youtube (like SomecallmeJohnny, for example) to know anything beyond what the MSM tells them, but this is the reach and influence this organization has. They're so inundated with propaganda telling them that BLM are the good guys, they have no idea what it truly stands for in practice.

that's fine with BLM getting all this money then they should have more then enough cash to pay for the damage that their riots caused people.

Nah, that money is already funding the DNC.
