This isn't a biased sample, people.
No, this absolutely is a biased sample.

I've got a batch of Zoomers in a game I just started GMing, three of them. They're all 19-20.

I was planning on having a plot arc of a movement trying to overthrow a mageocratic feudalistic government that treats non-mages quite poorly coopt their support. The kicker would be that the movement would actually be communists, and after 'liberating' the nation would implement something even worse.

But part of the game premise is a deliberate deconstruction of Isekai, so the players had IRL knowledge of history available to them, the players asked probing questions and figured out that, at a minimum, the point man for this group was misguided and ignorant of the consequences of what was in his world an untried system, and began to immediately tell him that what he wanted would absolutely just make everything worse.

These three are a group of random college students I met at the gaming club, not at a conservative meeting, not part of a Christian group, etc. (There's another player I met at church, but he's older and I expected such of him, he was actually the least 'Oh crap this is a bad plan' of them.)

They also showed a broad understanding of geography when they were in the 'try to figure out where we are' stage of things. When 'well, what *should* we do about this oppressive feudal system?' was the logical next question, 'start an industrial revolution!' was their answer, and they started going into the specific details of designing machinery and standardized parts, not just a generic abstract 'science rulez!' stuff with no substance.

I was surprised to learn last night that the player going into details of how to create breach-loading weapons was actually a performing arts major; I'd assumed he was an engineering student of some sort prior to that.

Some schools in the US are utter garbage. Some are good. Over time, the left pushes more and more towards garbage, but they haven't ruined the whole system yet.

Why to Reject the WHO Over "Gender-Affirming Care"

Note: This text was lightly expanded from a piece of submitted written testimony to the United States Senate for a hearing regarding the World Health Organization and its current impacts on American life. The information provided herein is primarily derived from the book The Queering of the American Child by Logan Lancing and James Lindsay.

The World Health Organization is currently developing New Guidelines on the provision of gender-affirming care. This should concern every parent and grandparent in America.

The reason for concern is that those guidelines are not based in "any stable reality," to quote relevant scholars, but in an academic doctrine called Queer Theory. Queer Theory is not a genuine academic theory of the world. It is the doctrine of a cult religion that seeks to initiate and capture American children in particular.

Queer Theory seeks to give our children "queer identities," like various "gender identities" and "sexual identities"—generally, "queer identities"—and it then seeks to affirm these to lock them into a child's psyche. The process, in their own words, quoting the Queer Educator Kevin Kumashiro, in a 2002 paper titled "Against Repetition," meant to induce a crisis in the child and then make sure the teachers "structure experiences that can help them work through their crises productively" on the terms set by Queer Theory. To quote Kumashiro directly,

Repeating what is already learned can be comforting and therefore desirable; students' learning things that question their knowledge and identities can be emotionally upsetting. For example, suppose students think society is meritocratic but learn that it is racist, or think that they themselves are not contributing to homophobia but learn that in fact they are. In such situations, students learn that the ways they think and act are not only limited but also oppressive. Learning about oppression and about the ways they often unknowingly comply with oppression can lead students to feel paralyzed with anger, sadness, anxiety, and guilt; it can lead to a form of emotional crisis. (p. 74)

Once in a crisis, a student can go in many directions, some that may lead to anti-oppressive change, others that may lead to more entrenched resistance. Therefore, educators have a responsibility not only to draw students into a possible crisis, but also to structure experiences that can help them work through their crises productively. (pp. 74–75)

This process, in this context, is what they call "gender-affirming care," which is advocated by the WHO. In Mao's China, it was called sīxiǎng gǎizào (思想改造), which means "ideological transformation" or "ideological remolding," or, more bluntly, xǐnǎo (洗腦), which means "brainwashing." It is no coincidence how often the cult of Queer Theory talks about the transformation of individuals, institutions, and society.

Crucially, however, "queer identities" are not identities at all. That is, they are not essential identities, like sex is an essential identity intrinsic to one's person and that cannot be changed. They're not part of the person themselves; they're a political stance. David Halperin, who defined the word "queer" for Queer Theory in his 1995 book Saint Foucault, writes this, "Queer identity need not be grounded in any positive truth or in any stable reality. As the very word implies, 'queer' does not name some natural kind or refer to some determinate object; it acquires its meaning from its oppositional relation to the norm. Queer is by definition whatever is at odds with the normal, the legitimate, the dominant" (p. 62).

Halperin also takes pains to point out that "queer" has virtually nothing to do with what he terms "gay identities." Those, he insists, are rooted in "homosexual object-choice," a stable, if not essential, human reality. With "queer identities," by contrast, "There is nothing in particular to which it necessarily refers." He continues, "It is an identity without an essence" (p. 62).

Queer identities that are "affirmed" in our children by "gender-affirming care" are revolutionary political identities that are, by definition, framed as whatever is at odds with the normal and legitimate. They are not based in any positive truth or stable reality. They are the result of putting children into a destabilizing crisis and then affirming them into a destructive politicized sense of self. They are made seemingly concrete in our children through a Maoist process of ideological remolding into an oppositional, defiant new mold.

We therefore don't need to wait to hear what the implementation guidelines and "evidence-based standards" will entail from the WHO. The WHO has already told us that their objective is to affirm a person's "gender identity," which is a political article of the Queer Theory cult, not a genuine essential identity of a human being.

The World Health Organization says that the forthcoming guidance aims to "increase access and utilization" of "gender-affirming care." So, they have already given the game away: they support the ideological remolding of our children into a destabilizing cult political identity through initiation by means of induced identity crises and confirmation through "affirmation." Those familiar with cult psychology would recognize this process not as one of "affirmation" but as textbook trauma bonding.

The WHO's goal is increasing "gender-affirming care" access, not evaluating whether "gender affirming care" might actually cause tremendous harm to many of those that receive it. Deliberately detaching children and their developing senses of self from "any stable reality" and "any positive truth" is guaranteed to cause tremendous harm to the vast majority of those subjected to it.

This is a monumental scandal because Queer Theory explicitly targets children. It does so because children are vulnerable and still forming their core identities as well as their ability to distinguish fantasy from reality. Queer Theory offers confused or struggling kids a promise of making them whole—of solving any confusion or pain they may have while treating them like the center of the universe to manipulate them socially and emotionally. The WHO surely knows this, and it either doesn't care or seeks to take advantage of it. The American public deserves to be protected from this monstrous program, not subjected to it.

Queer Theory intentionally places children into an identity crisis—into "gender dysphoria," as it is now called—so those children can be convinced to live "queerly." It isn't about empathy for homosexuals; it's about "alternate modes of 'embodied kinship'" and discovering "queer aspects" of oneself through identity crisis. The WHO recommends medical professionals worldwide affirm this destructive practice. According to the academic literature, all kids are "queer," they just don't know it yet. The WHO wants doctors to help them realize it.

Kids are learning all of this in their schools, which, taken with guidance from organizations like the WHO, sets up a school-to-medicalization pipeline that destroys the minds and bodies of our nation's youth. What is happening here isn't a civil rights movement. It's the greatest child abuse scandal in the history of the world, and it's being perpetrated by precisely the institutions who should be working to protect children from it. If the WHO is set on going this direction, the United States of America should be equally set on taking no further direction or recommendation from the WHO.

> No selection bias
> Just 3 random D&D nerds I met at a gaming club

Bruh, that is still selection bias.
I hate to tell you that, but like 99%+ of people are not D&D nerds hanging out at TTRPG gaming clubs

To be fair though, the video ya'll were talking about could have something similar too.
For example, I never ever go to hang out at a mall.

That's my point.

He picked 'fashionable pretty girl' types hanging out at a mall. The 'ditz' stereotype exists for a reason, and girls like that are a large part of it.

The group of people I was talking with are college students, one of them in a department that's usually a bastion of liberal nonsense, and still drastically are against such things.

I'd loosely guess 20-40% of students coming up through the public education system at this point are thoroughly indoctrinated into leftist nonsense, and another 10-30% are of a mindset where they'll just go with whatever the 'acceptable opinion' in their social groups seems to be.

It's an ugly picture, but there's a solid chunk of the country that still has some good sense.

Indiana parents warn nation after child is removed from home for improper pronoun usage: 'Can happen anywhere'

They don't want you labeled as a parent. Only as a care giver so the state can make decisions without parental consent. No need for parental consent if you're raising the governments child.

Indiana Couple Appeals to Supreme Court After Losing Custody for Not Using Transgender Son's Preferred Pronouns (VIDEO)

An Indiana Catholic couple, Mary and Jeremy Cox, are taking their legal battle to the Supreme Court after their son was removed from their home by the state government for not using his preferred gender pronouns.

In 2019, their son declared a female gender identity, which the Coxes, devout Catholics, did not acknowledge in accordance with their religious beliefs. They instead sought therapy for what they considered underlying mental health issues.

"The Coxes also believed that he needed help for underlying mental health concerns, including an eating disorder. To address both issues, they provided therapeutic care for their child's gender dysphoria and scheduled appointments with a specialist to help him with the eating disorder," according to the press release.

The Indiana Department of Child Services started an investigation in 2021 when it came to light that the Coxes were not addressing their son by his chosen name and pronouns.

Despite the absence of abuse, Indiana officials decided that the couple's non-acceptance of their son's gender identity was harmful to the child's mental health and contributed to an eating disorder, leading to the child's removal. He was placed in a foster home that affirmed his transgender identity.

According to Indiana state officials, the child "should be in a home where she is [ac] accepted for who she is."

The press release added, "The court restricted the Coxes' visitation time to a few hours once a week and barred them from speaking to their child about their religious views on human sexuality and gender identity."

"After completing its investigation, Indiana made an about-face and abandoned all allegations against Mary and Jeremy, admitting that the accusations of abuse were unsubstantiated. However, Indiana surprised the parents by arguing that the disagreement over gender identity was distressing to their child and contributed to his eating disorder—even though that disorder became worse after he was removed and placed in a transition-affirming home. The trial court relied on Indiana's argument to keep the child out of his parents' custody and keep the gag order in place. In short, even though the court agreed that the Coxes were fit parents, it upheld the removal of their child. An appeals court upheld the removal."

Nearly two years following their child's removal by Indiana authorities, Mary and Jeremy were left with no choice but to seek intervention from the Supreme Court.

On February 15, 2024, the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, alongside the Hershberger Law Office, filed a reply brief at the Supreme Court, Reply Brief in M.C. and J.C. v. Indiana Department of Child Services, challenging the Indiana court decisions and urging the protection of parental rights to raise children in line with their faith.

Mary and Jeremy Cox maintain that their actions were motivated by deeply held religious beliefs and contend that the state has unjustly infringed upon their right to raise their child according to those beliefs.

"This is what every parent is afraid of. We love our son and wanted to care for him, but the state of Indiana robbed us of that opportunity by taking him from our home and banning us from speaking to him about gender," Mary and Jeremy Cox said in a statement.

"We are hopeful that the Justices will take our case and protect other parents from having to endure the nightmare we did," the couple added.

Lori Windham, senior counsel at Becket, asserts that the legal outcome could set a nationwide precedent, potentially affecting countless other families.

"If this can happen in Indiana, it can happen anywhere. Tearing a child away from loving parents because of their religious beliefs, which are shared by millions of Americans, is an outrage to the law, parental rights, and basic human decency," Windham said. "If the Supreme Court doesn't take this case, how many times will this happen to other families?"

This situation echoes the case of Todd and Krista Kolstad, whose 14-year-old daughter was allegedly taken from them by Montana's Child Protective Services and moved to Wyoming for gender transition treatment, resulting in the total loss of their custody rights.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that their daughter was transported to Wyoming, a state with different laws regarding the medical transition of minors, by the Montana CPS for treatment of her sudden onset "gender dysphoria," despite the parents' express disapproval.

Following her transport to Wyoming, the Kolstad's daughter was subjected to social transition measures like chest binding and is now under consultation for birth control to halt her menses, actions that align with a model criticized as a fast track from social to medical transition.

The Montana Child and Family Services (CFS) petitioned the court to fully revoke their custody of Jennifer and arrange for her transfer to her biological mother in Canada, who has been an absent parent for the past seven years.

Well, in America's case it's "dumb voters and soldiers."

It's not a stereotype or by-sample-basis when people interview twenty-odd something American women on the street who fail basic questions even a Primary Schooler (that'd be ages 5--11) would know ("What country is Cairo in?" "Africa?")

Also, Americans insisting that Dublin or some other location in Wales or Scotland is in England and vice-versa, and they get all pouty when people from those fucking areas correct them (and almost deck them because they called a Scotsman an Englishman. smh).

If your kids aren't being churned into the military, they're basically taught to be dumb, communist-lite voters who vote for whom they're told to vote for, with an illusion of choice.

This isn't a biased sample, people.

why should we assume that this video isn't like most "influencer" videos and faked? Because it supports your preconceived notions?

Canada. A prominent lactation clinic helps a HIV infected 52 old man produce milk and breastfeed a baby.
HIV spreads via breast milk

So this crazy old man just infected a baby with HIV. And the taxpayer funded this through the "lactation clinic"
So they knowingly helped a sick, deluded old man infect an innocent child with a life-altering infection (and the subsequent life-destroying disease).

I'm pretty sure that would be classed as biological assault. Ya know, if the "almighty trans shield!" weren't deployed.

If anyone deserves to be randomly stabbed in the kidney in the street, and if any place deserves to be firebombed for assisting in this disgusting abomination, it's that freak and that clinic that enabled this.

I am honestly surprised Canada is not in full revolution over this shit, like people have burned down entire cities over less.

Finally some good news.
Georgia board of education upheld the firing of a teacher who was trying to groom her class of 11 year old with trans books

She should have been shot for that as far as I am concerned.

Canadians, much like most Americans have been fully cowed by their government. The majority are too fat, lazy, and comfortable to even speak out, let alone do something physical.

I blame it on several factors beyond just people being comfortable.

The spinelessness of the Baby Boomers.

An education system that teaches nothing or value and indoctrinated people to hate their past and not think anything is worse then war- so people don’t think they have anything worth fighting for.

All the estrogen in our water and food, along with all the other slop making people unhealthy, lazy and weak.

I think this is probably the big one.
Our food and water is full of estrogen.
Various things cause testosterone levels to drop drastically.
These create a crisis of weak, sick, feminized men who cannot fight.

I would also add the deluge of porn to that as well. It likewise messes with testosterone levels and kills motivation.
