A friend reminded me that, just last year, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus created a “light-hearted” take on the heterosexual paranoia that the LGBTQ+++ cadre is coming for our children. Except that, this year, it seems less like paranoia and more like an accurate take on the situation. On the same day the New York Post reported about the money taxpayers have spent in New York City on drag queen performances in schools, Twitchy reported on a drag queen explicitly saying that the point is to normalize LGBTQ+++, especially for kids.
Here's the gist of the New York Post story:
New York is showering taxpayer funds on a group that sends drag queens into city schools — often without parental knowledge or consent — even as parents in other states protest increasingly aggressive efforts to expose kids to gender-bending performers.
Last month alone, Drag Story Hour NYC — a nonprofit whose outrageously cross-dressed performers interact with kids as young as 3 — earned $46,000 from city contracts for appearances at public schools, street festivals, and libraries, city records show.
Since January, the group has organized 49 drag programs in 34 public elementary, middle, and high schools, it boasted on its website, with appearances in all five boroughs.
“I can’t believe this. I am shocked,” said public school mom and state Assembly candidate Helen Qiu, whose 11-year-old son attends a Manhattan middle school. “I would be furious if he was exposed without my consent. This is not part of the curriculum.”
Since 2018, the group — previously known as Drag Queen Story Hour NYC, before changing its name early this year — has received a total of $207,000 in taxpayer cash.

I’ve always disapproved of this trend because I’ve known drag queens over the years. They’re not cute comedians like Dame Edna Everage or the talented Harvey Korman (a married man who did drag as a joke, not because he was a drag queen).

Instead, most of them have no talent as singers or dancers but get away with painfully amateurish performances because of the default assumption that they must be talented. If you watch videos of them reading to kids, most aren’t talented at that either.

But here’s the most important thing about them: You never want to have someone whose entire self-image revolves around sex and sexuality to have too great an influence on your children.

Lest you think I’m making that last bit up, I’m not. Twitchy caught one drag queen being very open about his goals regarding your children and grandchildren:

Before the late 1960s and the Stonewall riots that marked the beginning of the gay rights movement, people weren’t naïve. If you watch old movies or read old novels, you discover that they knew perfectly well about homosexuality and even drag. While they didn’t view homosexuality as normal, most weren’t calling for lynchings either.

Still, it was the wise homosexual who stayed carefully closeted because it could damage him or her personally or professionally. And it’s absolutely true that the homosexual life carried the risk of getting assaulted. No one wants gay men or lesbian women to have to go back to that time. (Although it must be said that it’s still a high-risk life because, no matter how accepting the culture, substance abuse, spousal abuse, and suicide are all higher in the LGBTQ+++ community.)

However, in 2022, we’ve gone long past the point of life-and-let-live when it comes to the LGBT++ spectrum. They are coming for our kids because destroying the gender binary (male-female) and the nuclear family that flows from that (mom and dad have babies together, dad works, mom raises kids, they have a stake in the American dream) is the surest way to destroy America. Transgenderism, especially, which is a deliberate effort to alienate children from their bodies, creates a vast generation of kids who, through being disconnected from their core being, are easily controlled and manipulated.

So no, this drag queen trend is not about cute, colorful men bringing life to classrooms and it’s not about ensuring the LGBTQ+++ people don’t end up back in the closet. This is a concerted effort to decouple America entirely from a biological and moral set of rules that helped it become the greatest, most prosperous, freest country in the world.

I'm just wondering at what point people have the fuck it moment.

I mean this is all happening during record inflation, the public humilation of the country in afganistan, a massive increase in the price of gas and soon food as well, on top of a fincial collapse that is predicted to happen this year.

At this point I'm just wondering what is going to be thing that just fucks the democrats.

It's never any one thing. It's a confluence of issues coming to a head. The current DNC is the lesser sons of more politically astute fathers, their military and social influence was shown to be weak at Afghanistan. Their financial pressures are not working at stopping Russia in the Ukraine, by many measures they are empowering Russia, causing far more harm to themselves and their vassal states. As economic ignoramus they are intentionally destroying the entire energy sector to try and remake it, thinking they can control the flood. The list of blunders goes on.

Where this comes back to the blatant cultural attack that these drag shows represent is in their just blind stupidity. It's too much, too fast from political operators used to zero opposition. It's not yet another Grey zone attack that right wing culture is so vulnerable to. It's not an incremental push, veiled in righteous rhetoric. That is beyond these lesser sons.

How it ends is complicated. There is already an ongoing moderate counterpush against the over the top depravity. Grill bros and soccer moms that don't want to be thought as bigots but things are just happening far too fast for them. Now the correct play for the Democrats is to assuage them, to roll back a little and for the proclaimed "moderate" alphabet to viciously and openly attack the worst offenders and those that said the quiet part out loud. That lets the Dems keep a portion of their gains and continue on slowly advancing and pushing forward after the Grill bros go back to grilling.

I don't think that is what will happen. I think the moderate left is happy with their gains but wouldn't mind more and the true believers are running things. They are going to continue their policy of shrieking outrage at the idea of a single step back. They are going to continue to stonewall, attack and vilify soccer moms that just want things to slow down a little. After that, well Grill bros and soccer moms start looking for support and from their shit gets weird. South America demonstrates how bizarre some of the anti-left alliances get, I personally have no clue what the reactionaries will look like.

I think your half century timeline is far too long though. I think we're looking at about a decade, maybe less, of moderate right flailing against increasingly overt Democrate power plays yet to go through.

the half century isn't a static thing.

I think there is going to be a tug of war were the populist movement and the establishment do a back and forth and things get more vicious with time. I do think the time we are in is the Apex of their power and legitimacy though.

A Canadian father who was jailed for opposing his child’s gender transition is still fighting in court.

In 2018, the dad was informed that a hospital would start administering cross-sex hormones to his child. Thanks to a new Canadian law, doctors may administer transgender drugs to children without parental consent.



Four years later, the dad, whose identity was put under a publication ban by the court to protect his child, is still fighting in the British Columbia Courts over the loss of his parental rights in the medical transitioning of his teen daughter.

After the dad spoke out against his child’s gender transition, he was arrested in March of last year and fined $30,000 for misgendering his daughter, who was 13 at the time. He was also charged with criminal contempt of court. He was initially denied bail and held in jail, but he is currently free on bail and awaiting his trial, which is slated for November.

The father has incurred “enormous losses and expenses” over the ordeal and has been “dragged through a kind of legal hell,” according to his GoGetFunding page. The page has raised nearly $80,000 as of Friday morning.

The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh interviewed the Canadian dad for his documentary “What Is A Woman,” released earlier this month.

“I’m not able to leave BC [British Columbia]. I can’t even go to another province in Canada right now, and it’s because I’m technically out on bail,” the dad told Walsh in the film.

The dad told Walsh that his ex-wife brought their daughter to an appointment at British Columbia Children’s Hospital. The dad said he trusted the hospital to perform a thorough evaluation and thought, “good, this is going to be the end of it all. They’re going to clearly see that my child is not the opposite sex.”

He got a call less than an hour into that appointment, however, informing him that “they were going to pump her full of cross-sex hormones within the hour,” he said.

“And I put a halt to that. I said no,” the dad said. “They agreed to stop for the moment. They figured, well let’s get the dad on board too … I said it’s not going to happen.”

After that, the dad said he got a letter from the hospital in December 2018 saying that under British Columbia’s Infants Act the hospital would be starting his daughter on cross-sex hormones, and he had two weeks to respond with legal action if he chose to.

“So that’s how I ended up in court, because I did respond with legal action,” the dad said.

Meanwhile, he was publicly referring to his daughter as “she.” In Canada, it can be considered criminal violence to refuse to use someone’s preferred pronouns, the dad said, so the dad ended up in jail.

“It is no different than let’s say I were to take a broomstick and whack one of my kids over the head,” the dad said.

His daughter was still on cross-sex hormones as of Walsh’s interview.

A female teacher who was sacked for letting pupils as young as 15 pose topless and simulate masturbation for a school project has defended it as 'art' and claimed she is a victim of a 'deep injustice'.

Emma Wright, 41, has been banned from teaching indefinitely after allowing students at Huxlow Science College in Northamptonshire to take partially naked photos of themselves and others for a 'highly inappropriate' school art project.

The Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) ruled that the class, which also included pupils holding cigarettes and alcohol, had broken safeguarding rules and ordered Mrs Wright to be struck off.


But she today complained to Government officials and said she will never return to teaching.

She told The Sun: 'I feel there is a deep injustice about it, but I am not going to appeal because I no longer wish to teach. I have written to my MP, the union and the Education Minister regarding this.

'I am a good person. I am not the person they are making out to be. I really feel very strongly about it. I am really quite upset about it. It is a position I never thought I would be in.

'Those students were wonderful students. I have no bad feelings towards those students at all.'

Mrs Wright was reported to the TRA in 2018 after the portfolio of teenagers' work was found by the school's head of art and design.

But she accused the watchdog of having 'no understanding of art and education'.

Mrs Wright, an experienced teacher of good character, told the panel that she introduced the pupils to a new artist who created 'suggestive pictures'

The teacher added: 'I am hoping the local community are as shocked as I am, and as sad and angry. They know me. I have taught in that school for a long time.

'So I am hoping that I will be fairly represented because it is quite hurtful.'

Mrs Wright, an experienced teacher of good character, told the panel that she introduced the pupils to a new artist who created 'suggestive pictures'.

However, she insisted she told the students this did not mean they should create similar work.

She said that she did not consider the artist's work to be sexual in nature, but she did accept that, with hindsight, she should have told the pupils their photographs were not appropriate.

The report stated: 'Mrs Wright informed the panel that she had told the pupils that she did not expect them to be naked, but to use their arm, face, or something. During her evidence, Mrs Wright stated that art is a process.

'On balance, the panel determined that Mrs Wright would have seen the photographs that had been produced by the pupils before the final artwork had been produced.'

Decision-maker Alan Meyrick concluded that Mrs Wright had committed a serious breach of professional teaching standards, and failed to safeguard pupils' well-being.

He said: 'Whilst the panel was satisfied that there was a low risk of repetition, it did not find that Mrs Wright had fully reflected on the safeguarding implications of allowing pupils to take photographs of themselves or others in a state of undress.

'The risk of harm, due to the lack of safeguarding pupils, was a significant factor in forming that opinion.

'In my view, it is necessary to impose a prohibition order in order to maintain public confidence in the profession.'

The panel also heard that Mrs Wright was ordered by the school not to discuss her suspension but later informed a colleague, whom she had earlier confided in.

The report added: 'The panel was mindful that Mrs Wright had discussed the suspension with two individuals on separate occasions, and that this risked the confidentiality of the school's investigation, as well as the reputation of the school.'

Mrs Wright has been banned from teaching indefinitely in England and cannot apply for a review of the ban until 2024.
