I thought it was great. Its good to see him back at the mic at rallies again.

He was entertaining as hell 😄 and he raised some pertinent points that give a good idea of how he's going to hit Biden in the campaign ahead.

Far as I'm concerned the 2020 Election Season (greatest show on Earth!) has now officially started.

And its hilarious seeing how the media organisations aside from Fox have been covering it. They're not even bothering to hide their bias anymore. The election night salt from the media after a Trump victory is going to be absolutely glorious. 😁

(btw is there actually a 2020 election sub-forum around here somewhere?, too damned many sub-forums 😄)

I'm not asking for a 2020 election sub-forum, as I said, too damned many as there is. But a grand election thread would be cool, feel free mods to rename this thread to be that one. ;)

I had a good laugh at that bit too. :D His story with the ramp and glass of water was great. 😁
"He had rubber in his soles, the first thing I did was look at his shoes." - The line that killed me.

"I looked at the general's shoes first thing." Has to be one of the best things you can say about a West Point commencement ceremony.

From what I've seen, a lot of tickets were snatched by people who wanted to keep them out if the hands of actual Trump supporters, forcing a lot of empty seats.

As well, there were a lot of Trump supporters who couldn't get into the building because protesters blocked a lot of metal detectors, limiting how many people could get in.

AOC gloated about Tiktok users coordinating this campaign, and I know of plenty of Leftists on FB who had the same idea.

This is direct election interference, both by Dems and the CCP who own Tiktok. This is depriving thier political opponents of thier freedom of association.

I hope the Trump campaign is more...selective with who it sends tickets too, and puts better screening security in place.

Hmm, "Purchaser of ticket agrees to a penalty of $50,000 for failure to appear, waivable at the Donald Trump Reelection Campaign's sole discretion."
No, just do a few background checks on the people who want tickets.

A few minutes on Twitter, FB, or Tiktok can determine pretty easily if the person is a legit Trump supporter or not.

They do realize that the money they spent to buy those tickets are going directly into Trumps campaign funds, right?

it’s like they are paying trump from the privilege of being incredibly petty

They were free tickets, just so that the organizers knew how prepared to be.

They want to disrupt Trump's base, get between him and his supporters, and generally do everything they can to screw with Trump's ability to rally his base.

The free ticket issue does mean that they didn't feed Trump very much money, and did embarrass him, in their view.

Trump needs to find a way so people can do these rallies without supporters getting attacked and blocked from entering like happened yesterday.

Charging five dollars per ticket would have avoided this fiasco without affecting the numbers. Got to admit, not much gets me riled up these days, but seeing AOC's smug face as she gloated about ratfucking the campaign made my blood boil.

there is also a legitiment question if that is legal.

As in thats another potential charge on the pile that could put her in jail kind of thing.

One should not piss off the person who can order a federal investigation of you whenever he feels like it after all pretty much everyone has at least few charges that the Feds can in theory press

From what I read from the Trump team all talk of tiktok and social media interference is false. Far left types have tried to do that to his rallies before so they know how to deal with it.

( Bit hypocritical of Congress members to encourage that though as that would be foreign election interference would it not? From a platform controlled by the CCP no less)

Anyway apparently they're saying that media reports of huge queues outside, risk of violent protests and the covid concerns are what kept people from bringing their families and such and that's why the rally was quieter than normal. Media organisations reporting on it didn't even ask the Trump campaign for comment before publishing.

I have no doubt the next one will be in a more populous area and will be packed to the brim.

Latest Trump Rally (of sorts) in Arizona. This one to 6,000 or more college aged young people.

An interesting part of this one was how he changed his manner with less emphasis on the rousing and humour and a much more warlike speech rallying the young troops for ideological battle.

Framing the coming election as a conflict between American freedom and thuggish forced leftwing conformity. The use of young public speakers sharing their experiences with cancel culture and radical left intimidation was fairly well done I think.

Overall whilst not as entertaining as the last one, on a political level I think the speach was a good one.

This is the proper approach. "Kung Flu" remarks are fucking retarded and just alienate potential allies.

I may soon just try to insert myself into the matter by walking by an saying "it's a fake pandemic" to say how they react.
If that's there stance then you may want to phrase it in a way that they can swallow better. Like "Corona isn't deadly enough to be a true pandemic nor warrant this degree of quarantine". Because otherwise they'll just point at the existence of the disease and the fact that it does kill people to say that you're wrong.

Coronavirus in my view is only worth the quarantine if it had say 20 times the death rate. People’s lives have been shattered, ruined, graduations missed, jobs lost.

If the coronavirus had been killing say 50,000 people a day. And we had a death toll in the millions-or tens of millions fine then the quarantine would be worth it.

Anyway glad to see trump getting back into groove.
