Doesn't even have to be that... Some people are Survivalists. Some people are re-enactors or playing soldier. Some people are Doomsday Preppers. And yes, some people decided to do the Black Panther thing and form Self Defense groups or unorganized militias or whatever. Most of it is perfectly legal or in other cases should be legal.

What we got here are people implying guilt for his hobbies. Not his associations or the actual acts for which he was charged. And those hobbies aren't just implicating the guilt of whatever guy was cited in the original article... but for everyone who dares engage in those hobbies... or has those opinions... or sympathy with said opinions. Those people, as they've said... are not normal. They are not well adjusted. And they're guilty... of something probably. I mean just look at how they behave and dress. 🤷‍♀️
Holy Strawmen! When did I ever say anything about trusting the guy. I wasn't planning on inviting this guy over to bang your Mom or anything. And it's not a diary, it's a stupid notepad. Probably just a daily devotional.

And neither I nor anyone else excused or "implicitly suggested" approval for the actual crimes the dude was charged for so you can shove that Strawman as well. I'm talking about Legomania here. Obfuscate and deflect all you want with your fallacies.

Twas nice bait with the comment about Killing Communists. Your prospects for glowposting are stupendous.

But yeah... he wrote 'To Kill Communists.' I've seen worse comments under your purview on Spacebattles.

It's not illegal to do battle drills or build trenches and bunkers (barring local ordinances I suppose) on weekends for fun. Fuck off Fascist. :p

Anyways...

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. (y)

People are always dunking on gun owners for being lazy and untrained and not ready for when your side gets the wish for Biden to unleash the nuclear armed F-15's and now we got a bunch of 'well adjusted Leftists' here implying not just him, but anyone is apparently guilty of some sort of anticitizen behavior because their alleged hobbies are too scary for them. HE WRITES SCARY THINGS! LEGOMANIA! PLAYING SOLDIER! HETERONORMATIVE BEHAVIOR. This is like a sad attempt at 'othering' behaviors you find problematic. Don't like it, fuck off. Endorsing the death of murderous anti-American Communist ideology in America should be normalized. Just like anything though, endorse (and enjoy) responsibly.
For instance I play army when I do airsoft because it is fun and I enjoy doing Army without suffering

First they made killing Communists illegal.

Then they made Storming the Capitol illegal.

Then they made participating in a well regulated militia illegal.

Now they are going after Lego Models...

They'll have to do a hell of a job to reach me across the ocean. Nor, despite your continued ignorant assumptions am I a supporter of Biden or Communism. Like I said, feel free to try and prove otherwise, rather than just making childish accusations and insults. Why would I give a crap what language das kapital was written in? You're a Canadian on an English speaking site, talking to an Australian. Dropping into random German to make some "righteous" stand against perceived communism just looks like more edge lord fascism from someone who's shown plenty of it.
I've seen my country turn to utter shit under the leadership of a liberal socialist piece of corrupt shit. If we do not make a stand now, there will be no more chances.

United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

As to the actual "content" of your posts... What's your point? 'Coz it sure reads a lot like "Some college activists broke the law, so it's totally justified to murder whoever I think can be lumped into the opposition".
Stop putting words in my mouth.

Give me an example where I said whatever you claim I said?

You're putting words in my mouth in an attempt to make me look guilty of something I did not say.

I merely reminded you that the people you're trying to defend may not be as innocent as you perceive them to be. Unless over $1B dollars of damage (more like $2-3B at this point) and over 20 people killed is something to scoff at in your world? Many of the businesses damaged or destroyed were small businesses; the sole livelihood of families already heavily impacted by the LeftCom plague the ChiComs unleashed on the world under orders.

Nowhere in any of my posts are there the words "Kill communists".

Typical LeftCom behavior.

Well, my apologies for the misunderstanding. When I said "Do the actions of Lenin and Stalin justify a desire to shoot up some edgy college kids in Che Guevara t-shirts?" And you replied
"Those same edgy college kids were probably out there beating up people, tossing Molotovs, and breaking windows in one of the many riots started by adherents to communism." followed by me seeking clarification with "Uh huh... All of them? And does that somehow justify vigilante murder in your eyes?" to which you replied "Mao had his Red Guards and now Biden has his Black Guards. I'm sure they'll spare your place if you put up your little Biden sign though."
To me, that all sounded a lot like you did want to say it was justified, but were maybe just a little scared to. I'm glad that even you can admit that killing people for being communists is wrong though.

That says "Shout, Move, Communicate" not whatever you think it does...
Quite possibly it does. The quality of the pic and handwriting are both bad enough I'm not sure either way now that you say that. There's some letters that definitely look like they fit that better, though I'll be damned if I can make out two letters between the 'i' and 't' in the last word. Doesn't look like there's even space for two. It's interesting that either no one else bothered to look at all, or else agreed that it look enough like "shoot more communists" to accept that.

EDIT; Apparently @Husky_Khan thinks he wrote "To kill communists" somewhere, so even if I am misreading that part the idea is still there.

I'd advise just ignoring Megadeath. I've never seen him say anything intelligent or even interesting, and the ignore button exists for a reason.
Well, it certainly seems to generate plenty of interest from other people, when one or two posts can get more than half a dozen people to respond. Don't worry if you don't understand it all, if you're just a little nicer I'll explain the hard bits more simply for you.

I respect the fact that he posts here as a lefty, in spite of being overwhelmingly outnumbered. That's more guts than a lot of internet leftists have.

I do wish he had some actual substative arguments, but then I suppose that's the nature of leftism for you...

interesting and accurate perspective. Do you see how this all mirrors what happened with gamergate but on a much vaster scale?

We are all Gamergate now.

Ya know, I get called a "lefty" (Or more childishly insulting variants.) an awful lot, but I don't think I've even argued that many "political" positions at all. Most of my posts have been about disliking trump and not believing in election fraud. I mean, I've expressed support for tighter gun control which is a left wing position in America at present because of the peculiarities of the US system but it isn't "left wing" by definition.

I've also argued that killing people for their political beliefs is wrong, even if they're communists which seems depressingly controversial, but again it's not actually a left wing position.

What else do you think you can tell me about my political beliefs and positions? What exactly makes me a lefty, beyond the fact that it's what most people here call their "enemies" and consider anyone who doesn't worship trumps personality cult such?

You generally seem to subscribe to the perspective the Main Stream Media pitches. That's a 'this seems to be what I remember,' not something I could directly point to.

Killing people for their political beliefs being wrong isn't controversial. People were making a joke, and you tried to take it seriously, which is again something often associated with leftists when it comes to politics, though they certainly don't have a monopoly.

Also, supporting gun control all by itself puts you fairly solidly in the leftist camp. Since we're on the topic though, what's your stance on abortion?

Big government vs small government?

Wealth redistribution/taxes?

No that's what you said.

As a general rule, people who scrawl "Shoot more x" in their crazy diaries are not to be trusted. May shock you, but even if it's communists it's kind of illegal to kill people.

That was your implication. I took that portion of your post at face value because like I said before, you were making a bait post by inserting the comment about killing Communists. Nice attempt at deflection back on me though. Your attempts at dishonesty and obfuscation are impressive. :p

Anyways moving onto something far more important...

It seems in all of this tragedy, the most affected victims of this riot have been overlooked by the mainstream media. Of course... I speak of journalists. Check out the headlines of these Vice News tweets...

NEW: Reporters who survived the deadly Capitol riot are still struggling. Some won’t go back into the building. Several have sought therapy to deal with trauma. Many still aren’t sleeping well.

All of the reporters interviewed for this story are worried that the Capitol riot won’t be a one-off attack. “We’ve become very complacent in thinking the U.S. is different,” said Bloomberg News reporter Erik Wasson.

“It’s eerily back to normal. But sometimes It feels like one of those horror movies, like the end of Jaws," said Wasson. “Everything feels copacetic on the beach. But you wonder if there’s anything out there.”

Ginger Gibson, a politics editor at NBC News, has covered natural disasters and murder scenes. But this was different. “That day we weren’t just observers. We were one of their targets,” she said. “A lot of us reporters are having a tough time with that.”

“I’m still not sleeping like I used to, even to this day,” said PBS NewsHour correspondent Lisa Desjardins. “I became kind of an insomniac.”

“It’s my office, the building I love most in the fucking world. I used to call the Capitol my girlfriend. I’ve devoted 15 years of my goddamn life to that building,” said freelance reporter Matt Laslo, choking up. “Now? I don’t want to be there.”

“I do remember just feeling unsafe in my house,” said Wasson. “It occurred to me like, I wonder if some protesters could show up at my house. [I was] trying to assess whether there was actually any danger to me and my family.”

“The next day, I was so angry. So, so angry,” said congressional reporting veteran John Bresnahan. “Anyone who doesn’t want to come up here again, I don’t blame them at all, even a little bit, one iota.”

Vice News said:
Reporters have discussed their personal experiences in the days immediately following the Capitol insurrection. But few have publicly talked about the lasting effects in the months since—the toll that day took on them, the difficulty some have faced in returning to a site where they experienced trauma, and what it’s been like covering a Congress still deeply divided on the events of that day.

The emotional scars are still there. Six months after their office was attacked, the Capitol Hill press corps is grappling with how to cover the insurrection’s fallout, as well as its impact on them personally and professionally. Some reporters who were there won’t go back into the building. A number have sought therapy to deal with the trauma. One longtime Capitol Hill reporter opted for early retirement shortly after living through the riot. Many still aren’t sleeping well.

Wasson said he felt more scared going back into the Capitol for the inauguration than he had on January 6.

Thankfully there is a positive ending to all of this trauma.

Vice News said:
Laslo has struggled with moving past the day. “It’s my office, the building I love most in the fucking world. I used to call the Capitol my girlfriend. I’ve devoted 15 years of my goddamn life to that building,” he said, choking up. “Now? Instead of being there every day,I’m there once a month. I don’t want to be there.”

He used to have rapport with many right-wing lawmakers, speaking with Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz about marijuana policy, or interviewing Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley about social media regulation and internet policy. But Hawley led the objections on the Senate side to Biden’s victory. Gaetz lied the night of the riot that it was left-wing antifa radicals, not pro-Trump militants, who’d stormed the Capitol. Now, Gaetz is blaming the FBI. “I don’t fucking interview him now,” Laslo said of Hawley. “With this, I just don’t give a fuck about what your thoughts are on tech shit anymore.”

Let's talk Legomania. Is it known whether he had any other Lego sets in his possession?
