It’s amazing how people don’t know about minority groups within “minority groups”

Like, I think people sorta have catch-all-terms and don’t realize things like how even Japan had guys like the Ainu being seperate cultures
If the Vietnam war went differently in the South's favor I think the minority groups would still get fucked over somehow.

Except not really. Even if we're limiting ourselves to the 16th-19th centuries, there's still plenty of non-European imperialism. Japan is the most famous example, but China expanded during this period and established a settler colony in Taiwan. The Ottoman Empire expended further into the Balkans. Egypt colonized Sudan (and the Egyptians explicitly referred to Sudan as an Egyptian colony), etc.
Native Americans loved themselves some Imperialism too...Especially the Mezo-Americans.

The Comanche very likely would have become an American Mongol Empire had they not run into the brick wall that was the US military...and given how staggeringly brutal they were.

An Alternate history where a Comanche Empire comprised of say, Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, parts of Texas and most of Mexico manages to industrialize...You might be looking at something..interesting shit if you havdwave away the US not smashing them.

Shit imagine D-day where one of the biggest contributors are people who think spit roasting infants after you do a C section with a cactus patch and a horse..is not only acceptable warfare but "valorous conduct in combat"

I'd hate to be the Germans on the beaches..

What's that about?
Basically Comanche and the Lakota and a few other groups had a rather unique approach to warfare and how to treat prisoners of war, compared to a lot of contemporary peoples.

Namely that crap you see post apocalyptic movies would be seen as "generous and compassionate treatment". Like performing C sections on women and then dragging the babies through cactus patches and slow cooking toddlers over open fires while their mothers are forced to watch..ETC ETC. Some of the accounts from survivors and later verified are...interesting.

I think someone brought up their propensity to crucify kids to wheels and to leave them along major trails.

They fought war, much more like the Mongols did. Their view of what counted for acceptable targets was comparable and given the size of some of their territories and the location, it's easy to see why they were one or two bad decisions away from becoming major world powers.

If they still kept that practice up, into the 20th century or if say the "Comanche Empire" gets integrated into the US but in a way that much of its cultural norms and infrastructure is kept intact...the history century of history would be a lot different.

Or hell it might be entirely alien...If the US had to invest in wars with an organized, more industrialized Kingdom of the Plains..shit might be very different. Innovations in warfare and logistics might come a few decades early by necessity.

Would the UN be considered a tool of imperialism in an ironic sense?
I think they're more Globalism than anything else, Globalism as the new Imperialism

That said, in a way, I think they still favor some cultures/peoples above others, it's just that they're White Liberals and guys like Muslims and the Communist-Chinese Government, the latter two will get away with lots of un-PC things

There’s a problem there, she does NOT look anywhere near East Asian, she probably will NOT be living in China

Thus making it so that China is no longer the “middle” of the universe
It did not stop her from becoming empress of India.

Alexander the great did the same to the Persians and usurped their royal line.

It may still be a sore spot to be ruled by "barbarians" and for said rule NOT to even be in their place

What does it say about the entire landmass if the ruler physically lives and rules from elsewhere?

They're so powerful that their rule extends beyond their own lands?
And it will hurt their pride, well the “pride” of the guys more likely to go on about some weird sense of “honor” and things that won’t matter to most people or would make most people get pissed that lots of people are gonna die for some sort of poetry
