What she doesn't mention is that anybody living in NYC doing food service, housekeeping, or janitorial is also on government aid because none of those jobs pay enough to live in NYC.
Not quite as bad in Rochester or Albany but... still not great.
Not to mention that there's no such thing as additional supply that doesn't decrease the price of a good. More immigration equals lower wages.
