You'll find everything from traditional conservatives to outright communists (at least, they used to be around here. They got tired of posting). I've seen reactionaries, traditional conservatives, libertarians, classical liberals, and center leftists who thought their side went nuts. Generally, this is a good place to voice your views without being canceled. No one has been banned simply for what they believe or stating their opinion on an issue.
Personally, I'd call myself a pragmatic conservative. I don't want big government, but large monopolies (particularly tech monopolies) need to be smacked down with either the invisible fist of the market or the trust-busting power of the government. Patriotism needs to be a common good again. Free speech is sacrosanct. It is also important to get our debt and foreign adventurism under control.
I also think that we as a society need to prioritize and protect the family as its disintegration in the past decades has bred depression, dysfunctional relationships, nihilism, criminality, etc.I think this should be done on a community and individual level, not mandated by the government since that is a disaster ready to happen.

One thing I'm wondering is, why'd they all stop? They kept it on for months on end and never got tired even if people actually made an argument or provided proof that went against their ideas
Only one we remotely have left is Aaron Fox and guy's too polite by sheer comparison to guys like Realm, Ioseb, 2BDamned, OliverCromwell and so on
He also knows a good deal about the military and is fun to talk to in that regard.

There are a handful of liberals, and nationalist race realists like me, but mostly it's mainline civnat conservative. There have been some devout leftists but seems like most of them ran out of steam. I suspect they've grown used to having their opponents harassed and banned by mods and grow frustrated without that advantage.

One of the defining aspects of western degeneracy is rampant narcissism. It's plausible that many among their number expect on a subconscious level that they really can prevent a community that rejects their ideas from growing by not participating. Consider how leftist tend to underestimate support for right-wing leaders like President Trump.
