Hey all, so I deleted links to all my web forums, uninstalled discord, deleted all my social media, and have basically disconnected entirely, except getting news off YouTube and The Hill for the last month.
Now I decided to resurface for a bit. So for now, I'm back!
"Roci, why are you claiming to be a racist?" You ask?
Well, because I'm a racist, of course!
Why am I a racist? Well, in the last month or two, I've decided on some opinions, which seal the deal. I can't be anything other than a racist.
Black lives matter. I find this an inarguably correct fact. Black lives definitely matter. I don't like the group or their outright communist leaders or their tactics. That's pretty racist.
People have been protesting for months. I agree with their right to protest, I support them protesting. I actually agree with them to an extent. I don't support them burning things, hurting people, taking over cities or destroying innocent people's properties. Well telling a bunch of middle class white people how to protest on behalf of black people....hooooo boy, can we say racist? Any criticism at all is pretty racist.
I support America and American tradition even though I think the police are over militarized, (Thanks Obama!) and need reform, and much more and better training. Holy shit, that's racist as fuck.
Finally, if you've read that white fragility book, you'd know I'm racist. That book claims that if you don't talk to your black friends about color, you're racist! It also claims that if you talk to your black friends about color, that's tokenism, and also racist! (Doublethink really is a wonderful invention)
So as you can see, there is no escaping it. I'm a racist and always have been. Mostly just by virtue of being white.
Please ignore any logical inconsistencies. Pointing those out is racist too. You must employ doublethink and eliminate bad thoughts to remain sane. Critical thinking, nuanced opinions, reason and logic? Those are oldthink, and quite racist. I don't care about your color, only the content on your character, and I think we should all have equal opportunities to thrive in this country. That is racist and has always been racist! To think otherwise is wrongthink, and you better watch out before the thought police come for you.
In short: after the George Floyd murder, the insanity from SB and college campuses that we have always been told was just a small lunatic fringe, COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY took over the dominant culture. WE WARNED PEOPLE ABOUT THIS FOR YEARS, and we were called every name in the book over it. Yet...we were right the WHOLE TIME. the insanity that ran rampant on campuses in 2012 has reached the government, the corporate world, mainstream media and culture. We lost the culture war, we foresaw this coming, and we were told we were crazy....and here we are.
I deleted all social media to get my head out of it. I needed to think freely for a while, and I got tired of being called a racist for trying to be logical and sane.
So how have all you been lately? Wanted to drop by and check in, say hi. I hope all is well here, on one of the last bastions if sanity that are left.
