How privileged are you?

Huh, being a more devout christian would improve my score.

And you can get down to 11 by being a straight white male (who identifies as male) born in the US speaking English as your first language who is not a Muslim or Jew.

Curses! Sniped! I got myself down to 12 (probably bumped up a bit by my advanced years) and was feeling pretty pleased with myself. But, I've been roundly surpassed. I apologize to the Board and will try to achieve an 8 or better!!!

This isn't a quiz; a quiz has questions you answer. This is a series of meaningless sliders that spit out a pointless number.
I believe that's the point and it's trying to...somewhat heavy-handedly...criticize intersectionality as a form of 'oppression olympics' as it's sometimes called (and can end up being). A bigger number makes you a better person who needs to be listened to or acceded to because of that number.

Which, even as someone whose critical (at best) of this whole group-identity commentary business, is being somewhat unfair to the concept. Like...A black lesbian growing up in the ghetto is going to have more social pressure and criticism put on her then a white lesbian born in a gated community, or even a black lesbian born in the gated community. There's differences in influences and cultures within populations, and we can recognize that.
For that matter...A woman who identifies as a man is going to have more trouble, and this thing kind've just presumes that identification alone is going to make one more-so a part of the 'patriarchy' and lowers their score--which is a very radically feminist perspective that wouldn't really line up with intersectionality in general because it has TERF-y connotations that wouldn't be well-received.

It's not even really an 'intersectional' thing in this quiz since, as I understand it, that has more to do with the interests of these groups (allegedly) largely aligning or being under the same umbrella or demanding a unified stand in the name of solidarity from their members in order to achieve enough influence to benefit them all. Not that such can't also be abused and doesn't potentially invite this kind of 'oppression olympics' comparison between people--on either side, really, as there are noted disagreements in LGBT or female or minority communities on what actually should be or needs to be fought for--but this doesn't have much subtlety to it.

[This has been a patented prinCZess too-long diatribe on a very short thing that probably doesn't need it in response to a much more short, punchy criticism that got to the point more succinctly. But prinCZess likes to feel like she has smarty-pants...And talking about herself in the third-person. PrinCZess apologizes.]

I wish I could tell if fir sure the people who made this are serious or not, though I'm leaning heavily toward "no". I'm not sure if that makes it good or bad satire.

Lol, I like how despite not having money, I'm somehow more privileged than 94% of the population. They should take it one step further and ask put a hyperlink into the "donate to those less fortunate than you" which leads to their pay pal account. Funny part is that I can put in my roommate, whose just as poor, is a woman, half black, and has Jewish blood and gets 47.

Whoever made this is a waste of skin.

It looks like the minimum score one can achieve is 3. I'd have to lose 40 years and become a devout Christian to achieve that. I do worship B-52s and nuclear weapons though - does that count? :)
No, you can get it down to 1.

You have to be a White Straight Cis Male who's Rich adult* who is a native English speaker born in the USA with a Doctorate and is a Christian.

----
* The age slider is a parabola, younger gives intersectionality points as does older. It actually gives the lowest amount of points right in the middle unlike other sliders.

You're right! Well done Sir! I now have only to lose twenty years to get there. I still worship the Gray Lady though.

to get 100 you must be both Devoutly Jewish and Devoutly Muslim... interesting...

oh also, you need to be trans and gay... which I'm pretty sure means you can't be TOO Devoutly Jewish and if you're a Muslim you'd better be living far from any other Muslim so how Devout can you really get? Also if you were that Devout a Muslim you'd prolly kill yourself with a bomb attack at that point with how much of a sin your mere existence is. Especially since you need to be a female.

Speaking of which... I really hate that language.
