Yup, it is not the guns, it is the society, and thanks to the lost decades and the collapse in the value of the Yen Japan is far from healthy right now.Crossposting due to the apparent home-made nature of the weapon involved- which just goes to show how useless gun control is, given how strict it is in Japan.

There is reason so much of Japanese media is about just how terrible their judicial system is.Japanese police tends to designate murders as suicides or accidents, when they don't have a handy suspect to force into confessing.

It was a gun free zone. But in Indiana a "gun free zone" means "you can have a gun, but if the staff ask you to leave you have to leave".
