But how am I wrong?
That os exactly what they are doing?
Did the prequels make Yoda in Eoisode 5 nkt make sense?
When they do not use the force they do not remain as strong and lose the strength they once had in the past.
Using the Prequels to defend something stupid being done in NuStar Wars is like using VOY to defend something stupid in NuTrek. :cautious:

Final episode was decent enough.

Just stopped caring about the canon and enjoyed the ride. 😛

Whole series was basically pointless to be honest but it was entertaining.

Very average content release by Disney and thus an improvement over most of their Marvel/Star Wars Television stuff, Book of Boba Fett included.

My thoughts concerning a certain asthmatic Dark Lord.

They really are going all in with the split personality thing, aren't they? I hate it. "Darth Vader" is the title a depressed, hopeless, and self loathing, Anakin Skywalker took for himself. He is still him. He is the iron fist of the Empire made manifest (because the Empire is all he has, so much so that he's practically become one with it), not some slasher villain who smirks and screams when his enemy gets away. Speaking of which, bullshit, Obi-Wan would have put him down then and there. The opportunity to take one of the Emperor's most prized tools out of the equation simply couldn't be passed up and would make the Rebel Alliance's life tremendously easier in the Original Trilogy.

Darth Vader is literally the Jedi Orders fault. After diving deep into the lore both Legends and Disney. In each case the way they treated Anakin from early on practically guaranteed he would become a Sith. Which is pretty damning of the order as whole considering all the other Sith Lords they helped to create.

Anything can be entertaining if you don't think about it, or at least go into it with the right mindset. A lot of people aren't willing to do either of those things anymore when it comes to Star Wars however; and you know what? Considering how Disney employees involved with the franchise have treated fans for the past decade, can you really blame them?

Watched it

1) Why didnt Obiwan finish off Vader?
2) Why did Reva go after Luke?
3) How come Quigonn was able to fully manifest as a force ghost?

I think the series was...flawed. I dont like the actors they used as the inquisitors, I dont like premise that Obiwann and Vader met again before the death star and the think involving Leia was a mistake.

Reva had promise, but..wrong actress. She leaned in heavily on the stronk black kween trope, and just came off as obnoxious. Her entire acting range consists of scowling.

5th brother looked constipated, not intimidating.

Grand inquisitor looks like a pumpkin, not a pau'an

I found Leia *annoying*. Should have left her out.

I did actually like the idea that Obiwan was still in shock over the events of ROTS and somewhat disconnected from the force. Mcgregor of course owns the role effortlessly. It was much better handled than the whiny Skywalker from TLJ.

Speaking of Leia, wouldn't those electronic/hacker skills have come in handy when she was stuck on the Millennium Falcon, or when they needed to unlock the door on that bunker on Endor years later?

Shadiversity unleashes his wrath on Kenobi: Episode 6.

It is glorious.

The primary reason I'm beginning to appreciate woke media is that it is driving Shad insane in slow motion. The optimism turning into hatred in real time is highly entertaining.

It makes sense for a smart little kid to have an interest in such things when they're within her reach and not much else is; this does not necessarily continue into adulthood, especially given how busy she became with Imperial politics.

It also makes sense that whoever wrote this was way more interested in their political ideology than in established continuity, and probably haven't even bothered to watch the OT, especially not the last one because of the problematic bit with Leia in the metal bikini. :sneaky:

Rewatched the Final Episode with other people, didn't like it as much the second time around. 😛

SPOILERS

There was a funny moment when watching it after the lightsaber battle. One of the people I was watching with asked how Obi-Wan Kenobi was going to escape the planet and having watched the episode before, I calmly stated "Oh he takes Vader's Shuttle to get past the Imperial Star Destroyer."

This in fact, does not happen and I apparently formed a false memory in my mind for it to make sense when someone asked me this question.

Well, I finished the series. Have "mixed" feelings on it, though—seeing that others have posted reviews—I thought I'd post one from someone whose content I follow.

Hope y'all enjoy, though beware spoilers before watching!

This gives me an absolutely terrible mental image of Luke, Leia, and Han on the Star Wars equivalent of the Maury Show.
On the stage Space Maury reads the results.........

Princess Leia...... Han is NOT THE FATHER!!!!!

Hutt DNA revealed in the test.

Leia runs off the stage crying.

having grown up just a little bit before the prequals came out (I remember the promotional merch for the phantom menace), I've honestly seen so many parts of Star Wars get retconned, continuity doesn't really phase me anymore. I don't have Disney plus (You can thank Disney threating to try to brute force DeSantis into repealing the Anti-groomer bill for that) but I got to see all of the Vader Vs obi-Wan parts on youtube. I liked them, awesome visuals good dialogue (Hayden actualy does a remarkable job at imitating Sebastian Shaw during the half-unmasked scene), bout the only complaint I had was if Anakin was truly dead to Obi-Wan, what prevented Obi-Wan from stabbing him though the main control panel of the suit or going for the head? Obi-Wan had the opportunity to end Vader then and there, give both Ahsoka and Luke peace, and greatly weaken the empire in the process. yet in-universe he doesn't 'take the shot" for...reasons, I guess.

The whole series would have been better if Vader had been the main antagonist from the start as opposed to Reva (I don't mind her origin, but I can't help but think she'd have been better suited as a fallen order series antagonist not something related to Obi-Wan)

Luke could have mostly taken Leia's spot and very little would have changed and frankly it would have made more sense for Luke to be the one to give Obi-Wan well.... A New Hope (Pun only partial intended). Having Leia there just seemed like a cheap way of explaining how she would have gotten attached enough to "Old Ben" to justify naming her son after him. (a very dumb decision on Abrams part)

Not as bad as Boba Fett but certainly nowhere near the level of Bad Batch and The Mandalorian. I am convinced at this point the only real-life Star Wars related civil war though is the same ol civil war with the different factions of Star Wars Fans that's been going on since 1983 after the release of ROTJ.

Kathleen Kennedy isn't going anywhere. Disney Lucasfilm will do what Disney Lucasfilm will do. If you like it good for you, if not, there is always the old stuff and fanfiction.

While waiting for the next episode of Mandalorian, I decided I needed a fix for Star Wars and binge re-watched the Obi Wan Kenobi series again.

I didn't realize there was a post credits scene.

Just kidding.

I don't really rewatch Star Wars stuff anymore.

I'm sure someone else has done this already, but I felt compelled to make a meme on how disappointed I was with how Kenobi ended.

Hopefully Disney re-re-releases the Original Trilogy to conform with all of these excellent content that has been subsequently released on Disney Plus so that we can see the true vision of Star Wars, as Kathleen Kennedy intended so many decades ago.
