Well unfortunately, it seems like Kennedy is a true believer (or at least is enough of a egotist that it's hard to tell the difference), and her faction just scored a major victory.

Unfortunately, it's Disney; their lawyers are experienced in how to exploit the court system to exhaust their opponents into giving up. Though they are in a relatively weak position right now, in terms of their finances and their PR, so she may be able to force a settlement out of them; but it'll never get to the point where a judge is able to make a ruling, and she'll probably have to sign an NDA that'll keep her from being able to talk about her firing in public.

I don't think she is. If she was a true believer she could have placed female director(s) for the sequels, but she didn't. If she wanted more girl power she could have cast her "trio" as two women and one guy, but didn't. A true believer would celebrate a female character becoming popular, not fire her for supporting the wrong faction.
Kennedy has shown herself extremely shrewd at playing the office politics game and she's won a major victory here for keeping her faction in power. She's also very good at using the woke card to protect herself, both by attacking her rivals over not being woke enough and positioning herself so that firing her would look terrible, as she's possibly the most prominent woman in the industry and outspoken for her beliefs which are popular with the Twitter crowd. However when it comes to actions rather than statements, she comes up rather short in the woke department.

5:00-11:00: The Beep/Bop/Boop thing from August 2020 is meant to show that she can put whatever she wants in her bio as opposed to being Transphobic or being directed at the Trans Community at all. Then she talked about the reaction and how her Publicist had her watch a documentary on LFBTQ+ people within a day of the incident and then she had a phone/zoom call with two LGBTQA activists who then told Disney that all she did was step on a "landmine" but had no ill will towards the community. But Disney cut her out of the press because she wouldn't take an action that was "apologetic enough" and undertake other corrective action they recommended. They also wanted her to get on Zoom with 40+ LGBTQA+ activists as one recommendation apparently while she countered she could take out four or five of them out to dinner instead. But that was declined.

Gina says she watched a court case where she saw an elderly Jewish victim facing an elderly German/Nazi Official in the courthouse and she forgave him and was amazed by that and wanted to share the post because she thought it'd be unifying because there's so much Dehumanization going on. She never mentioned Republicans or wanted to equate the Holocaust victims with Conservatives or Republicans but shared the story because people seem to casually throw out the term "Nazi" and other bullying and dehumanizing tactics.
28:30-32:00: Ben Shapiro brings up the Pedro Pascal memes. Gina Carano says there's a doublestandard with herself compared to others in the production and she had a problem with it. She also says she adores Pedro Pascal and that they had an agreement after they realized they were politically different but passionate about it that they were both human beings and friends first. She then reiterates that Pedro Pascal is a sweet human being despite the missteps they both have made on social media.
34:00: Gina Carano could never call anyone "Homophobic" or "AntiSemitic" or "Racist" etc because she finds using such words are rather hateful. And she talks about how she cannot stand bullying and how she's gotten into physical altercations because she can't stand bullying. She says that people don't know her and don't know that she doesn't have hate for anybody.

She was prepared to just simply be Let Go and was excited when she heard the call. She had seen other public figures getting cancelled by Twitter mobs and lose their jobs and she wanted to go down swinging and still be true to herself.

They also talk about how in the same week Gina Carano was cancelled, so was Chris Harrison, the Bachelor host whose crime was "called on fans to show “a little understanding, a little compassion” until a contestant explained herself for attending an antebellum party in 2018.
Anything less the 1 mil of views is peanuts on youtube.

The reason doesn't matter, you're trying to gauge public opinion with a biased sample of few thousands. Nobody can say that Disney is taking "quite a beating" based on this.

I think you've got an extremely exaggerated view of what constitutes a popular YouTube channel. The video in question is only 10 days old. If we look at Smosh, generally one of the higher rated channels, even this video 3 weeks only has only 186K views. Some of their videos can hit 1M but the majority never do and the ones that have high views are generally many months old, having had time to accrue them. The video also has a more reasonable like:dislike ration of 12K:238,
Star Wars is popular enough to get millions of views, but like all YouTube channels it doesn't get them the moment it's released like you apparently believe they should. This one is a month old with 2.2M views:
It's also taking a beating, having suddenly gotten 36K dislikes and pages of angry comments that are rapidly catching up with it's 45K likes from the past.
Their newest one on the Bad Batch, 3 days old, has 15K dislikes and only 1.8K likes.
How dare Star Wars pull up an image of Republic Commandos, the same stuff they suppressed in TCW (and pretty much everything after that) because the author had disagreements over what was canon!
