German News - Old News Today

Muslims are not that numerous in those countries, Also they solely congregate in cities. If it comes down to a real fight they will absolutely lose. Aside from that reality most will flee before fighting happens because a majority are cowards that have already ran from fights.

Lord I hope your right. And that the native population will be numerous enough and willing to fight if it comes down to it.

Revolution ,after taking big cities, always win. Both in 1789 and 1917.More numerous native population could fight, like in Vandee or Tambow, but all they get was genocide.

But,i hope that he is right.

What happened is that twice, in a century, the best and brightest in Europe were outright killed. Poets, scholars, scientists, doctors. People who could have changed the world for the better were fed into two meat grinders that saw millions die.

Then you had the Cold War. For fifty years Europe had to contend with the Soviets possibly wanting to do it a third time over the same terrain. You also had people alive who lived through the first two messes. Lastly the Soviets sent agents and paid people to subvert Institutions to make conquest easier.

That is one reason why things are so fucked up.

For one its multiple groups of different foreigners who all happen to hate each other that live in the cities. Aside from that you named literally two conflicts out of hundreds of civil wars where the urban populations did absolutely lose badly.

As long as the citizens refuse to hold people accountable, both institutions and criminals, these events will continue.

Could be worst, she could send to prison victim.
But,if it make you feel better, judges in Poland are as bad as her or worst.

I'm convinced that people who live in cities are actually retarded, Especially since they keep voting to continue allowing hordes of backwards savages to pour in unchecked.
Cheap labor also comes to mind, and to prevent wages from rising to a decent level.

I remember seeing a post from the Canada thread about how a large influx of migrants is related to wage suppression or something along those lines, but I forgot where that post was.

Mostly sad news,with few exception.
Here:
Germany have big problems with their economy, becouse green madness made Siemens go down - but, luckily germans win last election in Poland,so EU "gave" some freezed polish money to new goverment - which would buy enough german trash windmills to keep Siemens afloat.

Another good for Germany news - new goverment could buy german shit instead of korean and american weapons, and agree to keep part of their muslims.

But,we have bad news,too:

1.German writer Hubert Seipl who wrote how great Putin is not only get money for that, but entire german public knew that now.
It would certainly hurt german goverment, becouse dude is their pupil.

2.Germans are still paing muslims who do not want to work - but,in the same time, forbid people who come there to work to do so.Sunneutsche Zeitung wrote about young woman from Nepal,Samiksha Bhurtel who come to work for eldery germans, but could not becouse german authorities do not agree. After five years of training!

3.Turyngia premier Bodo Ramelow pretend to be strong before elections - but he always agreed to new muslims before,so he would do the same after elections probably.

4.According to "General Anzeiger" ,more eldery germans need free food to survive, becouse they do not have moneys.
Which are still given to muslims.

5.Olaf Scholz still try to turn EU into IV Reich- but, polish toys could be not enough to get it.

6.One of germans who pushed for changes,Helmut Scholz,is old commie from East Germany - so entire IV Reich could be just Putin way to remove Americans from Europe, and take everytching including Germany.

So even with new polish toys, germans still are going down.

Another bad news for Germany.
Their elites still push for cooperation with Moscov - ex-premier of Meklemburgy,Manuela Schwesig, who supported NS2,now is leader of Bundesrat.
When it is common knowledge, that if Germany kicked USA out of Europe and killed Poland with Moscow, they would be next victim. They still want die by Putin.

That was Macro suicide - now micro. In Baden-Baden retired germans were almost kicked from their house Scharzwaldwohnstift ,becouse local leaders need place for migrants.

Letting old people die,so migrants could live in their place...

Germans really need to awake.Their leaders are killing them.

If the Germans snapped out of it and reignited some national pride and got some fight again Russia would be the ones who are fucked. Germany has basically achieved all of it's war aims for WWI, it dominates the whole continent including most of the former Russian Empire.

True,EU is basically german tool, and they achieved with it their WW1 plans.
Now, if they had leaders thinking about their people....well,maybe better that they lack it,those rulers would probably genocided us again.

I truly could not undarstand, what kind of madness made german leader start deal with Moscov. They had lasting deal over Poland corpse with them - BUT ONLY BECOUSE TSARS WERE GERMANS,TOO.

KGB mafia which rule there now dream about taking entire Europe including Germany, like in old good /for them/ soviet times.

Germany: Berlin pays €1.5 million every single day to house migrants in just 12 buildings, nearly half a billion per year

On just housing alone, German taxpayers are spending a fortune, even as housing becomes more unaffordable across the country

The German capital of Berlin pays €1.5 million per day to house migrants in 12 buildings, consisting of 10 hotels and 2 migrant arrival centers, according to data released for the first time in response to a request from the Alternative for Germany (AfD) faction in the Berlin Senate.

The overall costs for housing these migrants amount to €547 million for 2023 alone. That is over half a billion in just one German city, and it does not even capture the full costs of housing migrants in Berlin, as it only covers the 12 buildings in question. These buildings include the two migrant arrival centers at Tempelhof and Tegel airports, both of which are decommissioned airports, as well as 10 hotels that are being rented by the government to house migrants.

The data was produced in response to AfD MP Gunnar Lindemann's request. Tegel Airport is where most of the money is going, costing €1.172 million per day, and currently houses 3,408 Ukrainians and 1,333 asylum seekers, primarily from Muslim countries.

If the figures are broken down, the state is spending €7,411 per migrant in this single facility per month just on housing, operations, catering, rent, and security. However, this does not include healthcare, education, and welfare payments, known as "citizen's money," provided to migrants in Germany.

While the cost per migrant in the hotels is much lower, at Tempelhof Airport, it still costs over €5,000 per migrant per month.

Overall, the German government announced it expects to spend €35 billion in 2023 on migrants. Earlier this year, the AfD also obtained data from the federal government showing that 28.1 percent of the German elderly are at risk of poverty, a figure that is higher than the EU average of 27.4 percent and far greater than its Western European neighbors of France (19.1 percent), Belgium (17.4 percent), and Luxembourg (9.3 percent).

Germany is currently struggling with a budget crisis and has increasingly taken on huge debt loads to finance its record-high migrant population. Even as the left-liberal government pushes for more immigration, a clear majority of Germans say they want a pause on immigration and that immigrants bring more problems than benefits. Berlin, in particular, is facing a serious housing crisis, which has led to soaring rental increases and inflated housing values.

Germany's pro-migration path is in stark contrast to countries such as Poland and Hungary, who have countered the European birth rate decline by introducing family-friendly policies and tax cuts to entice couples to have more children. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also announced in 2023 plans to mobilize economically inactive Hungarian citizens who want to work, prioritizing them to fill the gaps in the country's workforce ahead of mass low-skilled migration, which risks both the security and the cultural heritage of the nation.

A recent study from the Netherlands shows that migrants have cost the Dutch state €400 billion from 1995 until 2019, adding to the growing body of evidence showing that mass immigration has been an enormous drag on the public finances of European social welfare states.

Bad news: germans are making IV Reich.
Good news:they are making it for muslims, not themselves.

Another mostly bad news for Germany -
1.German senior,77 old year Krystyna Thiele in Wurzburg get birtday present - city kicked her out from her home ,becouse refugees need it.
As german comediant,Moritz Neumeier on 3sat said, german healthcare system would be saved,if all 70+ seniors would be killed.
The same goes for polish system - but,it do not help Germany.

2.Berlin,Ruhra and Northern Westfall is partially ruled by muslim gangs, which created no-go zones there, just like in Sweden.
Sorry,we would not send Winged hussarls this time !.

3.German so called "catholic Church" want female priests and blessing sodomites, and angrily react/bishop George Batzing/ to polish bishops /Bishop Gądecki/ warning -
german bishop Georg Batzing answered like prussian sergeant.
To citate polish Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński - we come to them with Evangelion, they to us on tanks"

but, this time Vatican reacted as it should -
Cardinal Pieter Parolino officially said, that only males could be priests, and sodomites could not be blessed.

Finally,something good.

4.german jew,Gil Offarim,accused Marriot of being anti-semites in 2021 - but,in 2023 must admitt,that he faked accusations.
He was not punished, but must pay 10.000 euro - no,not to Mrriott.
To some jewish organizations. But,he at least must pay to dude who was accused, too.

Well,good news for germans here.

5.Bad news this time - germans tried to sell their old windmills to Poland to save Siemens, using their polish tools - but, this time they failed.
Well, next time they should win,i fear.....

6.German ambassador in Poland,Victor Elbling, demand that we forget about war, becouse in 1970 Willy Brandt kneel for few seconds behind jewish monument in Warsaw.

Considering that the same Willy gave work to german war cryminals like Gustav Heinemann, and refused to punish genociders like Heinz Reifarth, who during Warsaw Uprising murdered at least 60.000 civilians,it is rather funny.

7.Mohamed S. twice attacked 84 year old german, taking 520 euro from him. Now,he is judged - but,i doubt that he would be punished.

8.After 1989,polish economy become servant of germans, which was partially changed after 2015.Now,with germans ruling Poland,it would be the same.
Certainly good for germans.

Meanwhile in Germany....

Some of those clips were from France, not Germany. The French are more radical in their protests. But the German farmers are turning out in shear masses. They absolutely have had it. And they are just warming up. Big protests planned for January 8th and then the whole week. Great final on the 15th in Berlin. And not only farmers are protesting, more and more other branches are joining as well as ordinary people. Everybody wants the current government gone.

Farmer PROTEST takes over Germany and it's HUGE!

Something historic is happening. All over Germany, farmers and truckers are protesting at a scale never seen before. Tens of thousands of farmers are driving in convoys. And almost nothing about this on the news. It's up to us to share this 👇 https://t.co/jVVpRqtCvo

Farmers Revolt! Tractor Protests Bring Germany to Standstill over Government's Globalist Agenda

Farmers brought Germany to a standstill with Dutch-style tractor protests throughout the country on Monday in response to globalist policies of the government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz, which they claim threaten the very existence of the agriculture industry.

Farmers groups launched their planned week-long action to protest against the leftist coalition government's plans to increase taxes on diesel fuel and eliminate the car tax exemption for farmers in addition to making deep cuts on the subsidies for the farming sector.

The proposed tax increases and funding cuts came as the government attempted to fill a 17-billion-euro ($18.6-billion) hole in the budget for 2024. Although the government was willing to seek to raise more money off the backs of German farmers, it was not willing to make any cuts in aid to Ukraine, which is set to double to eight billion euros this year.

Ahead of the planned week of protests from farmers, the government said that it would be willing to walk back some of the farming subsidy cuts and re-organise the tax increases over the next three years. However, the German Farmers' Association (DBV) said that such moves would be insufficient to stave off the economic disaster facing many farmers throughout the country.

The nationwide protest on Monday has seen tractors shut down entrances to motorways, bridges, and tunnels in various states across Germany. According to broadcaster NTV, the farmers have closed access points to entire cities in the state of Brandenburg, including the urban area of Brandenburg an der Havel and Cottbus.

In Berlin, police reported that at least 566 tractors, as well as cars, trucks and vans, descended upon the city centre, blocking the Street of June 17th between the Victory Column and the Brandenburg Gate, where a candlelight vigil will be held later in the evening.

Production was also halted at a Volkswagen factory in Emden on Monday, with tractors blocking off access roads around the plant, preventing employees from getting to work.

President of the German Farmer's Association Joachim Rukwied said that the government was "depriving agriculture of its future viability". Rukwied said that the combination of rising energy costs — a result of years of green agenda policies combined with the war in Ukraine — and the proposed subsidy cuts and tax hikes would see the average farmer in Germany lose at least a third of their income.

The Farmer's Association chief went on to dispute the government's claims that it was short of money, arguing that the bloated government in Berlin has a spending problem rather than an income problem, arguing that the government should seek to make cuts in other areas.

Rukwied went on to say that the "planned tax increases were the last straw" for the farmers, whose businesses are "dying in instalments".

The Green Party Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck — who was personally protested against by hundreds of farmers last week — has criticised the farmer protest and a government spokesman warned on Friday that supposed "far-right" elements would seek to use the demonstrations for their own benefit, the farmers have gained support elsewhere.

Alexander Dobrindt, the chairman of the Christian Social Union of Bavaria (CSU) in the Bundestag parliament, said that the protests were both legitimate and justified, arguing that they were the inevitable result of the failures of the left-wing government of Olaf Scholz, and declaring: "The farmers have our support for this protest." The populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) has also backed the protest movement.

The farmer protests in Germany follow the example set by their counterparts in the Netherlands, who staged a similar rebellion against the Great Reset-style agenda of outgoing Prime Minister Mark Rutte, who sought to shut down thousands of farms in order to comply with the European Union's green agenda.

The large-scale movement in the Netherlands translated into political success, with the party associated with the protests, the BoerBurgerBeweging (Farmer-Citizen Movement), becoming the largest regional party and the largest power in the Senate after last spring's regional elections. The party is currently in negotiations with populist leader and expected next prime minister Geert Wilders to enter into a coalition government.

Establishment Panic: German Vice Chancellor Blames Putin for Farmer Protests, Media Brands Protests as 'Far-Right'

In a full-blown panic, the German political and media establishment has attempted to denigrate the farmer uprising against the globalist government in Berlin as a creation of Vladimir Putin and fomented by the so-called "far-right".

Thousands of farmers began a week-long revolt on Monday in response to anti-farmer policies from the leftist government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz, with slow-moving tractors, trucks and other vehicles being used to bring the country to a halt.

The German government has a budget black hole to solve, and while some areas of spending are enjoying massive boosts — like underwriting the war in Ukraine — domestic spending cuts and tax hikes are going ahead. Among them are ending green tax exemptions for farming vehicles and scaling back agricultural subsidies, sparking outrage among the German farming community who have warned that the government's policies threaten the very survival of the industry.

Rather than treat the concerns of the farmers with dignity, the political establishment has chosen instead to attempt to tarnish the rural revolt as being a creation of nefarious forces. German Economy Minister Robert Habeck, who was personally protested against by farmers last week, claimed that Russia was seeking to instigate the protests.

"Social media campaigns, some of which are paid for by Putin, in which you present yourself as a victim in order to justify violence against people and things, political programs that advocate overthrow or even repopulation and always blame others, right-wing radicals who use the protective space of freedom to abolish it… We cannot tolerate that," Habeck said per broadcaster NTV.

Despite the apparently broad political base of farmers involved in the action, the legacy media in Germany has also attempted to brand the protests as being tied to the "far-right". Although the farmers have drawn support from centrist political figures, including Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party leader Friedrich Merz, state-owned media Deutsche Welle proclaimed on Monday that "Germany's far-right exploits farmers' protests".

Highlighting the backing of the populist right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, which has surged in the polls to one of the top parties in the country, surpassing all of the three parties that comprise the coalition government, DW not only branded the party as "far-right" — a label the party rejects — but also openly compared it to the Nazi regime of Adolph Hitler.

"For years, the AfD has used every possible issue to protest against the German federal government, such as rallying against the controversial measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic… Observers are concerned that the current farmers' protests could be exploited for the anti-democratic goals of right-wing extremists," the publicly-funded broadcaster wrote.

While liberal elements in Germany have often branded the AfD as anti-democratic, the governing Social Democratic Party (SPD) of Chancellor Scholz has argued as recently as last week that the surging populist party should be banned outright. It has been argued banning the second-place polling party in Germany is necessary to protect democracy.

Completing a trifecta of boogeymen to blame for farmers rising up against the government, German media also threw a conniption about billionaire X owner Elon Musk expressing his support for the farmers as well as criticising the international media for a lack of attention on the protests, which prompted front-page articles from Germany's leading newspaper Die Welt and the regional Berliner Zeitung devoting front-page articles on Musk's tweets in support of the farmers.

The first day of the protests was almost entirely peaceful, with the apparent exception of a member of the public ramming their car into a protester while trying to drive on the sidewalk to get around a tractor blockade.

Over 500 tractors and other vehicles blocked off the central 17th of June Street in Berlin between the famed Brandenburg Gate and the Victory Column. Meanwhile, police estimated that approximately 5,500 tractors surrounded Munich on Monday, blocking off entrances to the city. A further 1,000 tractors and trucks formed a 12-mile-long convoy along the motorway into Mainz, the capital of the Rhineland-Palatinate state. Other demonstrations were held in cities such as Bremen, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg.

Despite the revolt, the government said that it would not be willing to make any meaningful changes towards its planned subsidy cuts and tax hikes on farmers, with a government spokesman saying: "There are no considerations within the government to change anything.

"In the end, a government has to decide and has to lead the way, and that can't always be to everyone's satisfaction."

Germany on Lockdown: Massive Train Strikes Combine With Road-Blocking Tractor Protests

BERLIN (AP) – A union representing many of Germany´s train drivers started a nearly three-day strike early Wednesday in a rancorous dispute with the country´s state-owned main railway operator over working hours and pay.

Train travel across the country and in many cities came to a near standstill with commuters and other travelers struggling to find alternatives involving long-distance bus or car travel or flights.

State-owned Deutsche Bahn said only around 20% of its long-distance trains were running and commuter trains in cities like Berlin were also not in operation.

The GDL union's strike on cargo trains began on Tuesday evening.

In the wage dispute, the GDL union had already called two previous warning strikes last year, which lasted a maximum of 24 hours in passenger transport. The current strike lasts until Friday at 6 p.m.

Deutsche Bahn had tried to legally prevent the strike until the very end, but on Tuesday night a court ordered that the strike could go ahead.

Late last month, members of GDL voted overwhelmingly to stage open-ended strikes in a bitter dispute.

In addition to pay raises, the central issue is the union´s call for shift workers´ hours to be reduced from 38 to 35 hours per week without a pay reduction, a demand for which employers so far have balked.

DL argues that it would make working for the railway more attractive and help attract new recruits, while Deutsche Bahn says the demand can´t practically be met.

Germany's Transportation Minister Volker Wissing called on both sides to return to the negotiating table.

"A way has to be found that both sides can get along with," the minister told daily newspaper Bild. "That means talking to each other. I urge both sides to return to the negotiating table."

However, union head Claus Weselsky said it was now up to Deutsche Bahn to present an improved offer.

If there's no new offer until Friday, "we´ll take a break and go into the next strike," Weselsky said in an interview on public broadcaster ZDF's morning show after the start of the train drivers´ strike.

The train drivers' strike coincides with an unrelated one-week strike by farmers who have been blocking city streets and highway access roads in parts of the country since Monday. They have snarled traffic with their tractors to protest against a government plan to scrap tax breaks on diesel used in agriculture and led to further traffic problems in Germany.

Germany's vice chancellor refuses to rule out criminalizing anti-globalist AfD party

The reasons for the move to criminalize popular political movements is obvious: the establishment has no solutions for the problems it has created.

Amidst a growing sense of national crisis Germany's vice chancellor has refused to rule out the criminalization of the main opposition party, the Alternative for Germany (AfD).

In remarks reported Friday the Green Party's Robert Habeck, who is also the finance and climate minister, responded to a so-called "far-right plot" involving the AfD to reverse mass immigration – which has seen at least 1.5 million immigrants arrive in Germany 2023 alone.

"You have to collect evidence that is hard enough to be able to enforce legal proceedings, build up a piece of evidence and then act accordingly," he said, speaking during a visit to Jerusalem. "I think that is necessary."

Habeck's comments were reported in German newspaper Handelsblatt, which also noted "there are supporters of an AfD ban in almost all democratic parties." All but one of these parties lag far behind the AfD, which is now the second most popular in Germany.

The alleged move is to counter what Germany's domestic intelligence service described in 2022 as "strong anti-constitutional currents" in the leading party of opposition, the Alternative for Germany (AfD), whose "influence continues to increase." This increase is explained in part by a decade of mass immigration, which has seen figures of up to three million immigrants arrive in Germany in one year.

The AfD reject the allegations of the "plot," which was published on January 10 by an independent journal called Correctiv. Its investigations, which it says are "impartial," include allegations tying the AfD to Putin's Russia – a charge familiar with those who have been following the smear campaign against President Trump.

With support at 23 percent – 10 percent higher than Habeck's Greens – the AfD has now eclipsed all the parties of government in the polls.

The increase of their "influence" is an established fact. What is also obvious is the reasons behind their rise – the chaos created by the policies of the German government, and by Habeck himself.

Chief among these is immigration. The rumored policy of immigration reversal by the surging AfD is now being framed as unconstitutional.

This policy, which answers years of public concerns, is naturally seen as unacceptable by a political establishment which has made national and international ruin the hallmark of their agenda.

Policies of chaos
Habeck's decision to cut support to German farmers has triggered a wave of national protests – in which he and his wife were "trapped" in recent days. Blockades have appeared across Germany, in the capital of Berlin and at national borders for over a week.

The protests – as with those in the Netherlands over threats to forcibly close farms – have been characterized as "far right," in a routine description of any organized opposition to the Net Zero and World Economic Forum (WEF) agenda served by these government measures.

Alongside this, German rail workers held another strike. The three-day action, due to end January 12, continues a series of actions which began in March 2023.

The pressure on Habeck and his government is compounded by a growing economic catastrophe in which he and his party are implicated.

This "traffic light" coalition of Socialists, Greens, and Liberals almost collapsed in December, following a judgment by the German high court against Habeck's budget.

His attempt to secure borrowing using an emergency law brought in to finance lockdowns was ruled to be illegal, as it violated the German constitution's prohibition on "structural debt."

On November 15, the Federal Constitutional Court refused to permit Habeck to borrow 60 billion euros to create a "climate and transformation fund" to finance WEF-inspired Net Zero initiatives.

The man whose management of the state was ruled unconstitutional is hoping to create a case to criminalize a party for the "anti-constitutional" action – of having popular policies.

Debt and damage
Habeck – who cannot find money to pay his own farmers or railway workers – still aims to donate 8 billion euros to the black hole of corruption that is Ukraine, with a further 6 billion to support Ukrainian refugees in Germany.

It is Habeck's party who have presented an alternative Germany – one seen below in a Green Party campaign leaflet for a 2021 Berlin local election. Pro-mass immigration, pro-abortion and strongly supportive of so-called "LGBTQ rights," their entire political platform aims at the total destruction of the German way of life.

The Greens have closed Germany's nuclear power stations and pursued an aggressive pro-war platform. The Olaf Scholz government has given more money and military aid to Ukraine than any other nation outside the U.S., with its Green Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock going so far as to personally "declare war on Russia" at the European Council.

This war fervor has seen the German government support the managed decline of its economy. Described as the "Europe's Economic Engine," the once industrial heartland of the continent can no longer pay for itself, let alone remain the chief financier of the European Union.

In 2022, it recorded its first ever export trade deficit. Since then, debt has risen so fast that economic disaster has become "permanent."

"If the [German] government was honest, it would realize we are in a more or less permanent state of crisis … that we have huge transformations ahead of us, and it's not optional," said Marcel Fratzscher, president of the German Institute for Economic Research, quoted in a Foreign Policy article from June 2023.

The answer to this problem – fueled by vast borrowing for lockdowns and to finance the cost of war, sanctions and Net Zero devastation – is to remove the "debt brake," the legal limit on government borrowing in Germany. More of the same is the solution to the problem.

It was this attempt which saw Habeck's budget ruled illegal, breaking the law forbidding the addition of massive debts. The vice chancellor of Germany tried to violate the constitution to continue to pay for a bankrupt ideology.

The ruinous policies of the German government threaten the future stability and prosperity of the region. The E.U. itself is responding to the dwindling cash supply from Germany by attempting to raise bonds to back billions in borrowing – to meet the continuing costs of funding the war in Ukraine.

Why democracy is criminal
The reasons for the move to criminalize popular political movements is obvious: the establishment has no solutions for the problems it has created. Both in the U.S. and in Europe, it is resorting to the desperate measure of lawfare to make any alternative to itself illegal.

The AfD in Germany is anti-war. It proposes to halt mass migration, restart sensible energy policies, and abandon the Net Zero program destroying the economy. Its membership has grown by 37 percent in the last year.

These policies are popular with people generally, as is evidenced by Trump's commanding lead and the growing support for the AfD in Germany. Both nations have seen narratives of extremism crafted to characterize opposition to the globalist schemes of forever war and the collapse of industrial society as the enemies of democracy.

If democratic alternatives are abolished in the name of democracy, it is democracy itself which is the enemy of stability, of prosperity, of peace, and of the people. This is a dangerous game to play.

As the Handelsblatt report concludes, the German Higher Administrative Court in Munster is due to hand down a ruling on the AfD in February. The decision could see the long process of criminalizing political opposition in Germany rapidly accelerate.

One German politician, Fabio de Masi, suggested another remedy to a party that has risen to 40 percent in his region of Saxony: "You have to confront the AfD politically and end the crazy politics that makes it strong," he explained on X, because, after all, "you cannot ban the voters."

Part of me almost hopes they try, if only because it will piss off the 1/4th or so of the country voting for the AfD and maybe wake up more people.
