Looking at these riots, I honestly believe the Modern American Left has condemned itself to political oblivion. The Reaganite conservatives and JFK liberals have been forced straight into Trump's arms, his base has been totally galvanised and more than a few former progressives have been utterly disillusioned not only by this but the Democrats maniacal tyranny over coronavirus. The Democrats have lost control of themselves and are trying to tear the country apart whilst they rip themselves apart.
I think we're looking at a Reagan reelection wipe out because of all this. God only knows the Left deserves it.

As for the rioters who were shot, it is going to have to happen. Rioters are running wild in the streets, burning down cities, terrorizing or even murdering innocent people, and the authorities are doing nothing to help or often actively supporting the rioters. What can people do when given no other choice but to defend themselves and their property?
one of the most basic responsibilities of a government is to protect its people. When they don't do that then there will be conquences.

I think dude will probably be charged unfortunately, not because he will be found guilty or anything but to give the left something to bitch about in the lead up to election and to try and induce a chilling effect.
I'd hate to be in the shoes of these cops. On one side the Left with their slogans of "ACAB!", "PIGS IN A BLANKET, FRY THEM LIKE BACON!", and "DEFUND THE POLICE!", and on the other are people who actually have a real reason to dislike the police.

it sucks for the cops but in this environment their not going to be given a choice they have to pick a side and if they pick the side that hates the police.....well I cant summon up much sympathy for them.
That won't end well. The cops will end up being targeted by people who owns guns and are willing to use them to defend family and friends while the cops have no one but the blue line between themselves and their enemies.
Indeed. If the good cops can't make a stance against a system trying to enforce its fascistic rules, then they deserve the bullet for trying to go after the easier target.
