United States George Floyd Protests, Reactions and Riots

So seeing the video of the shooting.....It was justified. The guy was told to stop and just kept walking to his car and opened the door, and the officers tried pulling him back only to have to shoot him as the guy was reaching into his car..and he was arrested at one point for assaulting officers, and has been caught with firearms as well in the past, with a warrant out for him.
Justified

Doesn't fit the narrative. Media and SJWs will have a field day with this.

The police shooting in Kenosha looks pretty bad to me, harder to justify than most of the recent deaths that become headline news. Of course reality may be a lot more complex than what the video shows. We shouldn't determine guilt or innocence with a mob, there should be an investigation and if need be a trial to determine guilt or innocence just as with all of these cases.
Looks like suicide by cop. Whether caused by intent, stupidity or belligerence, hard to say, and not very important. If in USA you try to reach into your car while cops with drawn guns are telling you not to and trying to pull you away from the car in the last moment, you know what they're thinking and what is going to happen if you try to continue regardless.

Ironically, the optics layer of politics only makes it worse. If the guy got smacked in the back his legs with a heavy baton several seconds before the shooting, there would be no need for a shooting... but the optics of cops carrying almost medieval level blunt weapons and using them effectively would look bad and would get called police brutality, also racist of course. So cops are often stuck with alternating between moderate and not necessarily effective options until the situation gets dangerous enough, and the lethal option once it does.
Looking at the video, if they used more force than they did, earlier than they did, there would have been no need for the lethal option, but the optics would have been kinda bad - and unfortunately no one in the whining media and "civil rights" organizations would be considering that the alternative was a shooting in that scenario.

It's going to make the most surreal adult cartoon.

SHE has the right to be safe

Everyone else, no, kinda weird it’s like she’ll be both denying the danger and actually affirming it exists by hiding behind her own walls

Kind of an inverse of her taking that haircut while saying everybody else has to be locked down due to COVID, she’s not afraid of COVID but everyone else has to be?

So the wealthy abandon the city. Taxes are needed. They defund the police to help with costs. Teamsters refuse to enter the city......city votes Republican?
The city becomes a shit hole and citizens flee to a new area where they vote for the same policies which ruined the first city.

I think those guys fleeing will be taxed to still pay for their home states

Or those cities and states forcibly siphon money off everybody else

From my perspective, it appears as if the regressive left wants to make it so that cops don't have any non-lethal options for dealing with suspects; as the one tool they've never tried to restrict are the guns with lethal ammunition in them. Batons, rubber bullets, beanbags, stun guns, and tear gas though? Cops can't be allowed to have those, apparently. I suspect it's because they want more cops killing people, because it gives them an excuse to keep demanding things.

On the contrary, of course they would like to send unarmed, UK style police into gang infested democrat cities. The idea is much bigger - cops aren't allowed to use anything at all. Adds up nicely with the radical's idea of abolishing prisons alongside abolishing police - yes, in general. Failing that, banning police from doing anything, lethal or not, is just 99% of the way in that direction.

Then replace them with a bunch of government-sponsored street gangs and they’ll say how letting the Yakuza rule itself produces results and they regulate themselves and such

While STILL banning people from owning their own weaponry or means of self defence or even being vocal against it

They’ll allow those paid gangsters and their own PMCs and Bodyguards to own em

Soon it will be WHICH kind of “criminal” you are that will actually lead to punishment
