I'm reasonably conversant with firearms, though certainly not a proper expert. I can't think of any common calibers smaller than .22, and even the niche ones I'm aware of are high-velocity rounds that would probably be just as effective.

Every day I am more and more ready to vote Trump.
I can't wait for this election. I will never vote for a democrat again. They are just letting shit like this happen. I used to reluctantly accept that I might have to vote Trump. Now I'm just about ready to buy a MAGA hat and start campaigning for the man.
This is fucking sick.
Shooting a pest is one thing. Cheering on and abusing an animal is a whole other thing. This is fucking wrong. I've had to shoot racoons before. It was sad, but necessary. These people are cheering and taking pleasure in torturing this innocent animal. It takes a special kind of sick monster to take pleasure in torturing innocent animals. And this whole crowd is cheering it on. I'm fucking enraged.
And they do this to PEOPLE, TOO. Living, breathing humans. These people are the real animals.
Donald Trump just needs to hold back (they'll use it as an attack and could cost him the election if he acts now,) and once he wins the election, clean these streets off. This is disgusting.
WE MUST WIN BACK AMERICA FROM THESE TERRORISTS. This is the most important election of my life, and the first time I'll be voting for a republican for president.

I think they are trying to BREAK the system.
They know they can't win so they do this huge push for mail in ballots. The election happens, the post office is completely swamped, ballots get lost, get found, get disqualified, get requalified, lawsuits everywhere over everything, election night doesn't give any meaningful results because of all the chaos, eventually trump wins but the dems cry foul, claim the system's rigged and broken beyond repair, they make "fixing" the elections their platform and claim for four more years that trumps a cheater, he's illegitimate and they should have won.
But no voter Id of course. That's racist.
Trump has tied up the polls to within margins of error, too.
That's considering that conservatives are usually under sampled. In reality he may be actually ahead a few points.
I can only hope. I don't like the man, the things he says or the way he acts, but we need him to save America from the completely radicalized left.

Something like a BB or pellet gun.
A high velocity pellet gun (.17 caliber is a regular pellet/bb size) will shoot like 1,200 or 1,300 fps.
That's plenty for most small game.
A racoon might be pushing it in size though. Not really sure. Works well for rabbits and squirrels.
You could also utilize a mini crossbow, even. They'll do something like 80lb. It works decently for small game. That definitely would work on a racoon.

So, I have bad news for you, and good news for you.
The bad news? The Democrat Party's leadership cadre and their immediate subordinates have essentially always been this radicalized left. They have needed to wear a mask of lies to keep people like you on board, because they know that they could not win if their actual agenda and moral character were exposed.
About 80-90% of the negative things you've ever heard or believed about Republicans? Nothing but lies by the Democrats, probably since before you were born, though I don't know how old you are. You've been suckered, for a long, long time.
The good news? Trump is set to win in a landslide. It's not just a matter of a few points the polls are lying by, they are deliberately twisting things to try to make the Dems look better, and people are either lying to them, or deliberately avoiding them, on top of that.
Even before the complete farce that has been the Convention, Biden was practically guaranteed to lose. It's never over until its over, but with Biden visibly *continuing* to deteriorate, and Harris having nothing but identity politics as a pro, and a lot of cons even for the left, we are rapidly approaching 'only divine intervention can keep Trump from winning now.'
I am starting to lend more credence to the idea that the Democrats have decided that since they have no real chance at winning, they're instead going to try to burn the electoral process down.

Before this video I kept thinking that the term coon was being used as some kind of metaphor as I was skimming this thread. I guess the left did manage to sink some of their meat hooks in my brain.
You know, it's just an anecdote, but I come from a traditionally liberal bubble in my offline life as well, And I know a lot of Obama and Hillary voters who are voting Trump or just sitting this one out.
Everyone says these people online are bots, and I am sure there are plenty of bots, but it's a real movement, too.

I don't know where it came from. Coon can be racoon for short but I don't know where it came from for black people to be called coons when I read more open comments showing their contempt towards these kind of people.
