Exactly, very few will go against the chain of command especially if it involves doing what they sore an oath for. Now if they were told to commit war crimes such as gunning down unarmed people, then they can refuse.

It is a cracker barrel so it is a southern state (I dont know if northern states have them) and most rural and smaller city blacks arnt hating the police. They know the hard work they put into it.

A polition can be weak and survive, they can be authoritarian and survive, but if your authoritarian and weak your going to have a bad time.

What we are looking at, I think, is the beginning of something that, if we lose, may one day be compared to the rise of the Nazis to power in Germany, or the Communists in Russia.

If conservatives really want to level the playing field, they need to get with the new paradigm, and stop thinking being prep'd to fight in the fields will matter. By the time you are fighting in the fields, the war will already probably be lost, because the only way that has happened is if conservatives have lost control of every lever of power except armed resistance.

They had a protest here last Saturday. I went to it wearing a maga hat and I was welcomed. Not all the protesters are rioting scum your right folks need to chill.

Countdown until he is ripped apart by the left for this. I mean the only one who can do no wrong is Joe Biden, since he is the left's only hope of beating Trump. Everyone else, time to get canceled. Maybe they will try to cancel his brother off CNN in retaliation, that would be a win for everyone.

I mean my family is split down the middle, do what I do don’t talk politics with them, if they bring it up shift it to another issue, you probably know something that they wouldn’t be able to resist talking about.

Honestly, I wasn't even talking about America; the Silent Majority of Europe were not too keen on fighting a second World War either. Heck, pretty much everything the Nazis did was without the support of the Silent Majority.

Damn near everyone I've talked to in my community are convinced that Civil War is imminent. If I'm in an echo chamber, it's the size of a small city just south of Seattle. Honestly, I think you just don't want to admit that things are as bad as they are.

Maybe but consider we are separated by an entire continent. Just because the coast is bad doesn't mean it's bad here. Hell Chicago is in my state and we haven't seen any violence at all.
 
The media also amplifies things to create an impression there's looting and burning everywhere. I can tell you there is not.

An honest evaluation might say, 'looting, cultural destruction and rioting occurred in these isolated locales", "peaceful protests where nothing happened occurred here".

Part of this ratings-a national crisis is good for news. Secondly its activism, downplaying the extent or intensity of the unrest doesn't help the narrative of "America is a bad racist country and we all most confront our sin". And since most people accept the news is not flat out lying to them, they believe what it says.

Chicago has seen a great deal of violence recently, or are you referring to the more rural areas of Illinois? Because entire swaths of the country are going to be untouched by the conflict, as it will mostly occur within the cities; but the same was true for Germany, when the Nazis fought the Communists for control over the country.
