It's incredible how many sites and groups I'm unsubscribing from on Facebook right now for their hollow and hypocritical takes on "We stand with... yaddayaddayadda". You chucklefucks could have done so until two days after George Floyd's death and that would have been fine and probably felt even genuine. But coming out now when the country is aflame? I'd say priorities have moved a bit in the meantime.

At least it's somewhat entertaining to see the non-discussions below these kinds of posts. I say non-discussions since it's really two groups talking about two different issues without there being a lot of recognition between them. One half is going on about solidarity and structural racism and whatnot (the usual claptrap), the other's more along the lines of "There's people torching whole neighborhoods, you dumbfucks!"

Also, listening to the German state-sponsored radio channel on my commute to work just made me realize again how urgent it is to finally cease public funding for such ventures. It's astonishing how easy they make it to twist the truth or plant wrong pictures in people's minds.

No, you partisan hacks. What he and the state governors (and probably local leaders, too) have made clear is that military force will be used against rioters and looters, not merely "protesters" (which implies lethal force against peaceful demonstrators). It's this choice of wording that's part why anti-US sentiment is so high in many European places. Small tweaks in the meaning of things applied over long periods of time.
