United States George Floyd Protests, Reactions and Riots

Thao really triggered that Cahill guy.

...You know, it really strikes me that the GOP could (and ought to) establish a pledge for any Presidential candidate: that he must explicitly commit to pardoning all victims of left-wing judicial prosecution on day one. Compile an exhaustive list, and make any candidate swear that he'll pardon everyone on that list as soon as he gets into office.

Tou Thao gets 57-month sentence on state charge for his role in George Floyd's killing

Democrats are still lynching people. This man is innocent but they don't care.
They are democrats. They never stopped lynching people, why should they start now?

Big question is whether the former officers involved with Floyd's death will try appealing their convictions?

To give a more fair play to Felony Murder charges, they do have a place for where people's actions enabled the murder to happen even if the person in question didn't directly pull the trigger.

IE, say it's a bank robbery with a team, they take hostages. One guy shoots a hostage, killing the hostage. That guy would be up on murder (2nd or 1st degree depending), while all those who participated in the robbery could be hit with felony murder charges since while they, personally, did not pull the trigger, they aided the person who did as part of the larger crime.

Not really applicable here except for the federal charge (president can't pardon state crimes). But the federal conviction is likely helping him more than hurting him, as it might not add time, but does mean he's spending time in a federal prison not a state one, and state prisons can be far uglier than federal ones.

Minnesota Senate passed a Bill to prevent 'charitible' organizations from bailing out repeated violent offenders. This is meant to target the often Hollywood celebrity and Democratic politician endorsed 'charities' such as the Minnesota Bailout Fund which has paid the bails of everyone from mostly peaceful protesters to violent felons alike.

The Chair of the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a bail fund nonprofit that helps violent criminals return to the streets, was arrested for fentanyl and cannabis possession after committing a traffic violation.

Alpha News said:
McKenzie grew "increasingly nervous" while speaking with the officers and, when they asked her to remove two large dogs that were in the vehicle, she instead began digging around in her purse and the center console.

Police later found a white powdery substance inside a tightly rolled dollar bill in McKenzie's purse and a second bill that was folded around several chunks of the substance.

The substance in the rolled dollar bill weighed .04 grams and field-tested positive for fentanyl. The substance in the folded bill weighed .68 grams and also field-tested positive for fentanyl.

Valentina McKenzie has two previous DWI's and misdemeanors on her record.

Bail status is unknown at this time.

Update, Derek Chauvin has been stabbed in prison.
Is this even news?

You'd get a ton of street cred for killing the guy who killed George Floyd - he's obviously got a massive target on his back in prison.

Like Dahmer, Chauvin's days are numbered. Honestly I don't see him leaving prison alive.

none of us do to be perfectly honest I don't really give a shit, he certianly didn't care about us why should we care about him?

Police and government forces are willing to obey the left for their paychecks and they don't show favoritism or support for the right. Who do you think puts people in jail for violating mask mandates, or the right wing protestors, or let the left do all crimes without stopping them.

hatred for Corrupt police I get but Defund the police and your are left with trusting street gangs for your protection. You can't really hate gangsters when you don't advocate for an alternative.

To be completely honest there is not that big of a differance between organized crime and police and governments. What are taes but protection money? The problem with organized crime is that they don't have a monopoly on force so that means that competing gangs fight and it causes chaos. But a strong enough gang that provides order isn't that diffrent from the government.

Or the other problem of "Ain't part of the tribe get a 9mm to the chest." At least I don't have to ritually sexually assault someone or slit someone's throat to be a citizen of the US. (Yet, let's hope it never gets that far.) you ought to read about some of these gang initiation rituals.
