No, they wouldn’t, because they check for outstanding warrants.

Given your line of argument the only thing I can conclude is that you seem to be trying to argue this shooting was justified. News flash: It wasn’t. And I say this as someone who is pretty much pro-law enforcement. This was a fuckup by Potter. There is no excusing it.
She literally shouted "I'm gonna taser you!" And then shot him.

Yeah, it's a clear cut fuck up. No way around it. I don't care how pro law enforcement someone is. There's no excuse.

You might want to actually look up how the police system works before you start trying to claim definitives...

Shouldn’t she have the safety on on her gun? You’d think the fact she had to turn it off would clue her in on the fact she got the wrong tool.
I guess heat of the moment is a thing.

You seem to be forgetting that Arizona in the 2018 elections was the test ground for the kind of election fraud that was later utilized in the 2020 election.
You also forget it is also the state where Gun Jesus shows us how loose the gun laws are there

I know quite well how it works, I've worked around cops (active and retired) for pretty much my entire adult life.

Regardless of his history, *at that moment* he was not a lethal threat. Potter knew it, which is why she yelled out she was going to taser him and then said "Oh my God, I just shot him."

Glocks are like TT-33s in that respective. No safety.

As mentioned above, Glocks have three mechanical safeties, all of which are disengaged by pulling the trigger.

The problem in this instance is that the taser is shaped just like a Glock, to make training and LBE easier/cheaper for departments with low budgets. In the heat of the moment, it is entirely possible to grab the lethal force option instead of the less lethal and not realize it until you've pulled the trigger, as happened previously to (IIRC) an LA transit authority officer. This is made worse by the habit of police to work moonlight at multiple departments and agencies, and wearing different rigs as a result.

She did seem to screw up, but the proper punishment for that would far easier to determine if there weren’t such a media circus surrounding the case, just like with all of these other racially charged deaths that the media have used to create a race war. You’re have a fair trial or fair treatment of the accused when the media conspires to turn the accused into a villain and all of the establishment authorities have the same agenda.

BLM PLANNING INVASION OF MARICOPA COUNTY.

General Flynn: "We have intel that they may be bringing people down from Portland and Seattle to disrupt discovering the truth in Maricopa County."

So will our great grandchildren's generation read in their history class that the second Civil War started over a building in Maricopa county Arizona...?

This has been known for a while. Last year some BLM caused a ton of trouble in Columbia SC. The Bulk of them were from out of state. The powers that be have professional protestors they bus around all over the country to cause trouble.

They even admitted to the networks used to do this on that times article.

These people are pawns being ordered around by the elites.

The important lesson to learn here, like with the Army throwing a staff sergeant to the wolves for the sin of protecting his family, is that the state doesn’t care about you, so stop identifying with it and giving it our blood and loyalty.
