United States George Floyd Protests, Reactions and Riots

I've seen the future...
It's literally just trucks with flags in a line, that's the only "similarity", every other detail is completely different. Guess what, both ISIS terrorists and Trump supporters also have two ears on their heads. Literally identical /s

Wow. Can't make up this absurdity anymore. I don't see Trump supporters looting and burning down cities and justifying themselves for it.

We had a Trump convoy roll through here recently. Funny, I didn't see them waving guns, raping, pillaging and burning everything like IS did.
"B-but they are causing people to Loot and burn!"

Remind me wasn’t IS destroying statues and engaging in civilizational vandalism? And what was Antifa/BLM doing for four months straight?

I don’t recall Trump supporters tearing down statues and blowing up cultural artifacts.

Antifa and IS are both iconoclastic, in that sense. (Though Antifa just wants to replace statues and artifacts with their own, IS is genuinely against statues as a whole).

It’s HBO style “but muh Christian repubs are like...the Taliban yo”.

I kind of find it weird how some leftists panic about the Trump Caravans. We had one roll through our area earlier today, and while I didn't go out and see them, I definitely heard the non-stop honking for almost 2 hours.

And absolutely none of my neighbors cared, not even the one who's more or less crazy about any issue I could care to name (I have overheard multiple shouting rants from them about "our food is literally poison, stop laughing Mom, we are literally eating poison, we are going to die!", and that's not the only topic I've overheard.)

The internet and IRL are different and the sort of Leftist Crazy you’re thinking about may vary from Lefty to Lefty

And for some it may require “triggers” or being in a crowd to have the same insane reaction

Even if Biden ends up in the White House, these people are not going to stop; at this point, their purpose in life is to riot, and nothing else.

Tertha I know your sad and angry about all of this.

But, I think this is the beginning of the end for the democratic party as we know it, weather trump wins or loses they cant paper over those fissures any more. It simply is not possible. Even in their best case senerio they are fucked.

To be honest, that sounds like a desperate attempt to find the silver lining in a painful loss, not actual analysis.

The important thing is to remember that Trump has not lost yet. He (and we) should go down scratching and biting, either that or take back the win. None of that "graceful loser" nonsense.

Also, lets be real, if Trump loses, there is likely to be a civil war inside the GOP as well.

There were a lot of people who only voted R because of Trump, and may not stick around if the GOP slides back into the control of the neo-cons or Establishment Right.

There were many times the GOP establishment could have helped Trump and their base, but chose not to because they were Swamp creatures at heart and didn't want to be tied to Trump more than they absolutely had to be.
