The champagne left realizes it is not getting a free pass for good behavior...

Its a really bad idea.

Europes demographic situation essentially means they dont have a domestic market any more, many of them dont have milatary capability period. The only way they can trade is if american naval ships protect their shipping for them the only exception to this rule is france and england. Getting involved in american politics and ensuring that americans remove their protection fucks them hard.
They've taken for granted everything America does for them, as if we're obligated to do it. The coming years are going to completely upend their understanding of how the world works, and it's not going to be a pleasant experience.

Now that Trump announced that he will be declaring Antifa as a terror organization, Twitter is full of people coming out with the hashtag #IAmAntifa to "resist". Plenty of Europeans of course. The trifecta of their arguments are:

1- Antifa is anti-fascist. Trump says he is anti-Antifa so that proves he is a fascist!
2- Well what about the right wing nazis Trump you gonna declare them terrorists too?
3- Antifa doesn't have a single leader or core so this is just a blanket term to arrest anyone he dislikes! FASCISM!

Which, of course, anyone with a brain can awnser.

1- Antifa is well known for thinking anyone right of Bernie is a fascist. Besides, does that mean the DPRK is democratic and the Nazis were socialist?
2- They have already been declared terrorists years ago, decades in fact for most violent neo nazis groups. The FBI has entire divisions about that shit.
3- Islamic terror groups don't have a single leader or core either, but that doesn't stop them from being terrorists. Besides, as said in point 1 all Antifa orgs follow the same shitty ideological core.

It's so sad that websites like SB, AH and SV have become so rabid leftist. I blame George Bush and the relentless wave of Smug Liberalism that came during his 2nd term when it became "cool" to be anti-conservative.
And that's why I avoid the political forums on those sites like they are the bubonic plague. Still it's not like there aren't a lot of good people and far more importantly great authors on those sites which is why I still have accounts on them. Also they have a lot of people who like and are are very knowledgeable about naval history which is one of my great passions.

Its more to due with age demographics-those who came of age during the Bush years voted for Obama overwhelmingly and were the springboard for modern progressive leftism in the following decade.

The people who inhabit these forums are usually in their twenties to at the latest early forties-that is they are millennials. And so "anti conservativism" was both the social credit, and political zeitgeist. Making fun of Fox News, and saying "I'm totally not racist", or "I voted for Obama" to both gain social currency and pick up women or whatever.

Its socially mandated, even enforced horizontally-to hold the "right" opinions. You have to set yourself apart, to be a wolf amongst the sheep to say-"I don't support gay rights", or "I dislike Obama".

That doesn't win you friends, it doesn't get you dates, or invited to parties-it makes people dislike you. It means being right wing is a matter of principle. A principle which costs you more than it gains.

That's true online as well.

It's funny that the Left has been spouting off about the quarantine being necessary and to maintain social distancing but they pretty much threw that all way recently.
Just goes to show what their priorities really were; they just wanted to exploit the pandemic, in order to acquire more power and control. These protests are probably going to cause another outbreak.

That is actually good news and encouraging. But I wish it had happened sooner.

My extended family are actually from around the Twin Cities area, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

To see the Twin Cities and other cities in America burn like this. I took an oath as an airman in the U.S. Air Force long ago to defend the U.S. from all enemies foreign and domestic. I now work in a hospital trying to save lives.

And these motherfuckers like ANTIFA and other anarchists/leftists want to burn it all to the ground for their sick twisted obsession?

FUCK ANTIFA
I am just waiting for Active Duty MPs to show these rioters what military justice is like

Apparently he wouldn't be the only cop disgusted with how Floyd was killed.
PLenty are, even though what the pofficer did did not kill him, and that is also a proper protest, not a riot. I am prety sure that sheriff would not be joining should it become a riot
