Look at this shit

...we were seeing some abolitionist organizing that avoided explicitly stating that position. Then you see liberals or progressives take up abolition while distancing themselves from the anticapitalist aspect of it.

For us, this is how we understand how policing functions. It’s an anti-Black project rooted in slavery...trying to control workers and stop them from organizing and striking and owning the means of production. Policing is the way capitalists enforce social, economic, and political inequality.

So at least how most of us were taught abolition, you can’t talk about getting abolition without having to get rid of capitalism. There is no way you can have private ownership of the means of production and distribution in this country, in this world, and then say that we’re living in an abolition present without police and prisons.

Then they proceed to make their own “police”, demand people fund them even if they’re even way shittier than the previous and proceed to take over the old prisons and just fill it up with anyone they don’t like

It's a literal Bolshevik tactic. When they took over the old Tsarist police was completely scrapped and a new "revolutionary" Police Force was introduced.

Trump can’t afford to fold, I think he’s looking back at whatever history he knows and is horrified that people are actually imitating the Communists to such an extent in the country he lived so long in

May not have even expected this stuff to occur in his presidency....will be something he writes in his memoirs

-Humiliation and degradation especially of southerners.
-their going to expect people kneel to it and sing its praises.

Literal idolatry.

We’re hitting Left Behind style dystopia. Obviously George Floyd is not the beast, but I expect similar technology that is more advanced to be used in the future.

An image that requires people worship it wherever they are and if they refuse they will be punished. And killed.
