Curiously if they entirely destroyed their enemies(us) they’d have no more establishment to rail against.

I suppose you’d have a never ending firing squad. I find it curious they claim to be anti establishment yet relish the power they wield through the establishment.

I usually try to listen to what you have to say with an at least halfway sympathetic ear, but you've lost a lot of my respect on this.

BLM is a political movement, and it's a blatantly political movement. They are raising funds for the Democrat Party, they are pushing for specific people to get elected or run out of office.

For the military to pretend anything else is for them to straight-up lie. Any instituation that has a policy of openly lying is self-defeating. The fact that there's strong pressure on them to repeat the lie only makes it more important that they stand up against said lie.

There is a difference between the movement and the Orginization. At least to the General populace. most only know of the movement, not the organization. If the DOD was told that one of the founding members was a Domestic terrorist they would take their statement, even with backlash from DOD employes.
I know for a fact from my very own unit and people with in it, that they only know of it as a movement, not as a orginization.

This suggests the revolution will continue until it gets the back of the hand. It will not be happy to dominate the institutions and push its opposition to the fringes. In fact, the further it pushes its opposition into the shadows, the angrier it will get, as what it wants is the confrontation. Starved of that confrontation it will grow increasingly berserk as it tries to flush out the opposition. Not everyone is like me and does countless research.
Plusthe DOD took a stance that will not involve internal issues. alling BLM a political group and that we can not wear stuff for it, would cause Havok in the ranks, minorly butwith how the media is, the DOD is doing this for a reason.
Plus if they call BLM anything else the DOD gets called racist, EO cases go through the roof and it is in a much worse boat.

They took a smarter stance then people think

Except the issue here is that I don't think they have the luxury to pick and choose their battles anymore. The enemy is at the gate, literally, and if they refuse to engage then they've surrendered by default. By refusing to admit that BLM is a political movement, they're also refusing to address internal issues that already exist, and leaving the door open for them to get far, far worse.
