By a weird coincidence, I saw a link recently to a Medium article about Antifa "researchers" on the same day Lemp died.

The mood at the meeting was upbeat but its purpose was grave: mounting an urgent defense against violent right-wing extremism. Skeptical that law enforcement authorities recognize the scope of the problem — or even regard it as a problem at all —

These people REALLY aren't very smart, are they? As one example: how many people belonging to the big bad AtomFeuerSatanistTransNazbolWaffen division have been arrested this past year BEFORE they could pull off any attacks? I've lost count.
Disregarding the fact that many of these people who appear in pics and vids are FEDS anyway.
Understand that the misconceptions promoted by this reddit-ified, simplistic view of reality are happily disseminated to cause grief and angst. I recall an article written last August posted on SB that was basically an extended version of the supposed grievances listed further down in the medium post. It was, as you can expect, rooted entirely in mysterious "sources" and one-sided tales of prior events, weaving a tale of intransigence towards pursuing the bad guys enforced by congressional Republicans. As if anyone believes that Saint Obama with his pen and his phone couldn't do as he pleased to send in the clowns and stop those extremists just because people who didn't even control the Senate until 2014 complained loudly. But we're supposed to believe that THEN he deferred to people in Congress who have no control over Federal agencies on the issue of radicals terrorists that most of America would want to see neutralized, but the executive order to expand DACA wasn't too extreme. Outrageous. Last I checked, Federal intelligence services don't have to TELL people their master plans, right? They could've been tracking those "far-right extremists" on the down low. This being posted to SB, the usual suspects thrust their hands into the bear trap.
Oh, and that initial report on Far-right extremism from 2009? It listed "disgruntled military veterans" as a major potential source of recruits. Good job guys! View the people who came back from the wars your President ran on ending as domestic terror recruits. That Hopey-changey stuff was off to a fine start.

This is a two part reply!

Part ONE. I make a strong distinction between liberals and leftists. I may disagree with a liberal but I can do so with confidence that the disagreement will be in good faith and that said liberal won't resort to the tired old tactic of shrieking 'racist' 'sexist' etc the moment they realize they are losing the argument. A leftist, OTOH, will never act in good faith, will always point and shriek, and has neither a moral center nor anything even vaguely resembling actual concrete principles upon which they can stand. All they care about is power, gathering same, and shitting on everybody else in order to make themselves smell better.

I think the people who are rioting arent the ones running it, this is too blatant, and is making them obvious targets, I think the goal is to justify more central government control, of policing, of the media, and tech. So whoever is behind it can control things more directly.

The control will be full of an extreme increase in bureacracy, any police left on the payroll or specifically any “Volunteer Public Safety” groups will be probably much less trained and will probably be mainly made to go after people who are seen as “threats” to the status quo
