Reminds me, I think there was some rioter who got on top the car of one guy, the guy kept driving and I think he fell off....honestly keeping on going is actually the safest decision for the driver

What about the guards? Wait, how do gun laws apply to bodyguards and security guards, even to richer people and their companies?

It's a thinly veiled tribal conflict. They just want to demonstrate their anger and their power to the other "tribes" of US society that they blame for all their ills. The goal is to try intimidate everyone else into supporting their ridiculous policies, but of course we know it doesn't really work like that (these people are huuuuuge fanboys of the 60's "protest culture", the idea of "disruptive protests", and also antifa shenanigans), but hey, they aren't deep political thinkers, and mostly hit places in which politicians already more or less agree with them on any remotely public friendly points.

Its also telling that it tends to happen in permissive (legally and politically) environments, as in cities under full democrat control, and more likely than not, not even the more centrist ones. That in turn makes them ever bolder with a false sense of invincibility - after everything they get away with, they may well start feeling like they can get away with everything. If they go too out of control and happen to move out of the permissive zone far enough to hit a wrong sort of place, it's gonna be Roof Koreans 2.0.

I have some friends not far form there, and some friends who are going to school there, I dont think during summer semester though, and I know people in the NG for the state.

Georgia outside of ATL is all red. The sad part is I saw someone saying there will be a Rally in Athens, aka UGA..so makes some sense.

Basically as long as Savannah, Augusta, and Columbus georgia are not in the path this wont get so bad in GA.
 
Doesn't seem like it was as bad as yesterday. But it is spreading. There was looting and break ins and stuff occurring all over the Metro Area but mostly minor. Last night there was a more peaceful protest in Minneapolis at the 5th Precinct.

More looting and vandalism in South Minneapolis where stuff happened the previous two nights. Also there was a spat of arsons in North Minneapolis including several locally owned businesses including a health clinic, a local museum and some other places I know firsthand.

Some RED HAT REPUBLITARD running for Senate was cooking up Brats yesterday evening during a Church organized community cleanup in North Minneapolis. Can confirm the brats he grills are delicious. I mean he's still going to lose the Primary but.. actions speak louder then words. Takes balls for a Republican to go to North Minneapolis and still be openly Republican. (y)

Also... Mennonites showed up Friday afternoon...

That may have been true in the 1960s, but now I am not so sure.

Culturally the nation has changed much since 1968 and 1972.

If this helps Trump, it will be by a very tiny margin. As people at this point in his presidency have largely made their minds up about him-no spate of summer rioting they only see on TV is going to change that.

If this continues into the fall, and trump can effectively portray Biden and the Dems as tacitly backing it-it might win over swing voters and some suburban areas. Maybe.

My suspicion is he has just enough lucidity left to make it into a first term-if he wins in November, he can be a glorified caretaker president and let his administration run freely, while reciting the words given to him at press conferences.

The Democrat leadership would not have accepted him if they thought he was too gone mentally even for that.
 
So there's a protest march in my small West Texas city. That's actually kind of new, we don't get that kind of thing usually, too many rednecks. So this thing is a lot wider spread than I thought. I still have to wonder what's so unique about this unjustified killing that its making people all over the country go nuts.

Part of it may be people having gone stir-crazy due to the Corona virus quarantines.

Agreed, my bosses have too much time since they aren’t traveling. They sit home all day and want more and more reports. Then you have people with nothing to do and out of work. So stupid.
 
Denver is now under a 8pm to 5am curfew for Saturday and Sunday.

Had plans to visit some friends tomorrow for the first time since the pandemic began. Now, those plans are likely shot, and I'm worried the curfew will have to be extended.

Civil War? I think there’s a good chance that in the tirst phases or this possible civil war of yours, they’ll be hitting these folks first alongside anybody that accepts their help. Guys who ate at that grill will be attacked for Corona-chan while all the other protestors won’t be reprimanded

Those “Uncle Toms” will practically be disowned by their “brothers” and “sisters” while also getting “bash the fash” from ANTIFA types

THEN you get a bigger number of people defecting.....lots of small business owners who will be fighting back
 
Fact: All of these protests and riots and looters are taking place in Democrat controlled cities. Hell, other than Dallas you could say Democrat states. Has anyone focused on that yet?

This is not as wide spread as it looks, nor as final. It's a dozen of big cities out of a huge ass country. Don't get me wrong, this is still a massive protest but it's not as solid as it looks. It's mostly looking and riots, people mad from isolation sorta snapping as well. The actual politically motivated stuff is isolated, and mostly salty commies and Antifa fags trying to start a Bogaloo they would lose.
